Sura 25 - Al-Furqaan

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
25:1
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَالَمِينَ نَذِيرًا
*Ametukuka aliye teremsha Furqani kwa mja wake, ili awe mwonyaji kwa walimwengu wote.
*Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion to His servant that he may be a warner to all the nations.
25:2
الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا
*Ambaye ni wake ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi, wala hakuwa na mwana, wala hakuwa na mshirika katika ufalme, na akaumba kila kitu na akakikadiria kwa kipimo.
*He, to whom belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and who did not take any offspring, nor has He any partner in sovereignty, and He created everything and determined it in a precise measure.
25:3
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَاةً وَلَا نُشُورًا
*Na wamechukua badala yake miungu ambayo haiumbi chochote, bali hiyo inaumbwa, haijimilikii nafsi zao madhara wala manufaa, wala haimiliki mauti, wala uhai, wala kufufuka.
*Yet they have taken gods besides Him who create nothing and have themselves been created, and who have no control over their own harm or benefit and have no control over [their own] death, life, or resurrection.
25:4
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ افْتَرَاهُ وَأَعَانَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ آخَرُونَ ۖ فَقَدْ جَاءُوا ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا
*Na wamesema walio kufuru: Haya si chochote ila ni uzushi alio uzua, na wamemsaidia kwa haya watu wengine! Hakika hawa wamekuja na dhulma na uwongo.
*The faithless say, ‘This is nothing but a lie that he has fabricated, and other people have abetted him in it.’ Thus they have certainly come out with wrongdoing and falsehood.
25:5
وَقَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
*Na wakasema: Hivi ni visa vya watu wa kale alivyo viandikisha, anavyo somewa asubuhi na jioni.
*They say, ‘He has taken down myths of the ancients, and they are dictated to him morning and evening.’
25:6
قُلْ أَنْزَلَهُ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
*Sema: Ameyateremsha haya ajuaye siri za katika mbingu na ardhi. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kusamehe Mwenye kurehemu.
*Say, ‘It has been sent down by Him who knows the hidden in the heavens and the earth. Indeed He is all-forgiving, all-merciful.’
25:7
وَقَالُوا مَالِ هَٰذَا الرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِي فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ ۙ لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُ نَذِيرًا
*Na wakasema: Ana nini Mtume huyu? Anakula chakula, na anatembea masokoni! Mbona hakuteremshiwa Malaika akawa mwonyaji pamoja naye?
*And they say, ‘What sort of apostle is this who eats food and walks in the marketplaces? Why has not an angel been sent down to him so as to be a warner along with him?’
25:8
أَوْ يُلْقَىٰ إِلَيْهِ كَنْزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَقَالَ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنْ تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَسْحُورًا
*Au akaangushiwa khazina juu yake, au akawa na bustani ale katika hiyo? Wakasema madhaalimu: Nyinyi hamumfuati ila mtu aliye rogwa.
*Or, ‘[Why is not] a treasure thrown to him, or [why does] he [not] have a garden from which he may eat?’ And the wrongdoers say, ‘You are just following a bewitched man.’
25:9
انْظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا لَكَ الْأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّوا فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًا
*Tazama jinsi wanavyo kupigia mifano. Basi wamepotea, wala hawataiweza Njia.
*Look, how they coin epithets for you; so they go astray, and cannot find the way.
25:10
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي إِنْ شَاءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًا مِنْ ذَٰلِكَ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكَ قُصُورًا
*Ametukuka ambaye akitaka atakujaalia yaliyo bora kuliko hayo, nayo ni mabustani yapitayo mito kati yao, na atakujaalia majumba ya fakhari.
*Blessed is He who will grant you better than that if He wishes—gardens with streams running in them, and He will make for you palaces.
25:11
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالسَّاعَةِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَنْ كَذَّبَ بِالسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا
*Bali wanaikanusha Saa (ya Kiyama). Na Sisi tumemuandalia Moto mkali kabisa huyo mwenye kuikanusha Saa..
*Indeed, they deny the Hour, and We have prepared a Blaze for those who deny the Hour.
25:12
إِذَا رَأَتْهُمْ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُوا لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا
*Ule Moto ukiwaona tangu mahali mbali wao watasikia hasira yake na mngurumo wake.
*When it sights them from a distant place, they will hear it raging and roaring.
25:13
وَإِذَا أُلْقُوا مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْا هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًا
*Na watakapo tupwa humo mahali dhiki, hali wamefungwa, wataomba wafe.
*And when they are cast into a narrow place in it, bound together [in chains], they will pray for [their own] annihilation.
25:14
لَا تَدْعُوا الْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَاحِدًا وَادْعُوا ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا
*Msiombe kufa mara moja tu, bali mfe mara nyingi!
*[They will be told:] ‘Do not pray for a single annihilation today, but pray for many annihilations!’
25:15
قُلْ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ الْخُلْدِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَاءً وَمَصِيرًا
*Sema: Je! Haya ni bora au Pepo ya milele, ambayo wameahidiwa wachamngu, iwe kwao malipo na marejeo?
*Say, ‘Is that better, or the everlasting paradise promised to the Godwary, which will be their reward and destination?’
25:16
لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ خَالِدِينَ ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَسْئُولًا
*Watayapata humo wayatakayo daima dawamu. Hii ni ahadi juu ya Mola wako Mlezi, inayo ombwa.
*There they will have whatever they wish, abiding [forever]—a promise [much] besought, [binding] on your Lord.
25:17
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ أَأَنْتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِي هَٰؤُلَاءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا السَّبِيلَ
*Na siku atakapo wakusanya wao na hao wanao waabudu, na akasema: Je! Ni nyinyi mlio wapoteza waja wangu hawa, au wao wenyewe walipotea njia?
*On the day that He will muster them and those whom they worship besides Allah, He will say, ‘Was it you who led astray these servants of Mine, or did they themselves stray from the way?’
25:18
قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ مِنْ دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَٰكِنْ مَتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا
*Watasema: Subhanak, Umetakasika na upungufu! Haikutupasia sisi kuchukulia walinzi badala yako, lakini Wewe uliwastarehesha wao na baba zao hata wakasahau kukumbuka, na wakawa watu walio angamia.
*They will say, ‘Immaculate are You! It does not behoove us to take any wali in Your stead! But You provided for them and their fathers until they forgot the Reminder, and they were a ruined lot.’
25:19
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُمْ بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًا ۚ وَمَنْ يَظْلِمْ مِنْكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا
*Basi walikukanusheni kwa mliyo yasema. Kwa hivyo hamwezi kujiondolea wala kujisaidia. Na atakaye dhulumu miongoni mwenu tutamwonjesha adhabu kubwa.
*So they will certainly impugn you in what you say, and you will neither be able to circumvent [punishment] nor find help, and whoever of you does wrong, We shall make him taste a terrible punishment.
25:20
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ ۗ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا
*Na hatukuwatuma kabla yako Mitume wowote ila kwa hakika na yakini walikuwa wakila chakula, na wakenda masokoni. Na tumewajaalia baadhi yenu wawe ni majaribio kwa wengine; je! Mtasubiri? Na Mola wako Mlezi ni Mwenye kuona.
*We did not send any apostles before you but that they indeed ate food and walked in marketplaces. We have made you a [means of] test for one another, [to see] if you will be patient and steadfast, and your Lord is all-seeing.
25:21
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا ۗ لَقَدِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْا عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا
*NA WALISEMA wale wasio taraji kukutana nasi: Mbona sisi hatuteremshiwi Malaika au hatumwoni Mola wetu Mlezi? Kwa yakini hawa wamejiona bora nafsi zao, na wamepanda kichwa vikubwa mno!
*Those who do not expect to encounter Us say, ‘Why have angels not been sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?’ Certainly, they are full of arrogance within their souls and have become terribly defiant.
25:22
يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَحْجُورًا
*Siku watakayo waona Malaika haitakuwa furaha siku hiyo kwa wakosefu. Na watasema: Mungu apishe mbali!
*The day they will see the angels, there will be no good news for the guilty on that day, and they will say, ‘Keep off [from paradise]!’
25:23
وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ هَبَاءً مَنْثُورًا
*Na tutayaendea yale waliyo yatenda katika vitendo vyao, tuvifanye kama mavumbi yaliyo tawanyika.
*Then We shall attend to the works they have done and then turn them into scattered dust.
25:24
أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًا
*Watu wa Peponi siku hiyo watakuwa katika makaazi bora na mahali penye starehe nzuri.
*On that day the inhabitants of paradise will be in the best abode and an excellent resting place.
25:25
وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ السَّمَاءُ بِالْغَمَامِ وَنُزِّلَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَنْزِيلًا
*Na siku zitapo funguka mbingu kwa mawingu, na wateremshwe Malaika kwa wingi,
*The day when the sky with its clouds will be split open, and the angels will be sent down [in a majestic] descent,
25:26
الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ عَسِيرًا
*Ufalme wa haki siku hiyo utakuwa wa Arrahman, Mwingi wa Rehema, na itakuwa siku ngumu kwa makafiri.
*on that day true sovereignty will belong to the All-beneficent, and it will be a hard day for the faithless.
25:27
وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا
*Na siku ambayo mwenye kudhulumu atajiuma mikono yake, na huku anasema: Laiti ningeli shika njia pamoja na Mtume!
*It will be a day when the wrongdoer will bite his hands, saying, ‘I wish I had followed the Apostle’s way!
25:28
يَا وَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا
*Ee Ole wangu! Laiti nisingeli mfanya fulani kuwa rafiki!
*Woe to me! I wish I had not taken so and so as a friend!
25:29
لَقَدْ أَضَلَّنِي عَنِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءَنِي ۗ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِلْإِنْسَانِ خَذُولًا
*Amenipoteza, nikaacha Ukumbusho, baada ya kwisha nijia, na kweli Shet´ani ni khaini kwa mwanaadamu.
*Certainly he led me astray from the Reminder after it had come to me, and Satan is a deserter of man.’
25:30
وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا
*Na Mtume alikuwa akisema: Ee Mola wangu Mlezi! Hakika watu wangu wameifanya hii Qur´ani ni kihame.
*And the Apostle will say, ‘O my Lord! Indeed my people consigned this Quran to oblivion.’
25:31
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا
*Na vivi hivi tumemfanyia kila Nabii adui miongoni mwa wakosefu, na Mola wako Mlezi anatosha kuwa Mwenye kuongoa na Mwenye kunusuru.
*That is how for every prophet We assigned an enemy from among the guilty, and your Lord suffices as helper and guide.
25:32
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا
*Na wakasema walio kufuru: Kwa nini hakuteremshiwa Qur´ani kwa jumla moja? Hayo ni hivyo ili tuuthibitishe moyo wako, na ndio tumeisoma kwa mafungu.
*The faithless say, ‘Why has not the Quran been sent down to him all at once?’ So it was, that We may strengthen your heart with it, and We have recited it [to you] in a measured tone.
25:33
وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا
*Wala hawatakuletea mfano wowote, ila na Sisi tutakuletea (jawabu) kwa haki, na tafsiri iliyo bora.
*They do not bring you any representation but that We bring you the truth [in reply to them] and the best exposition.
25:34
الَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُولَٰئِكَ شَرٌّ مَكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
*Wale ambao watakao kusanywa na kubururwa kifudifudi mpaka kwenye Jahannamu, hao watakuwa na mahali pabaya, ndio wenye kuipotea sana njia.
*Those who will be mustered [fallen] on their faces toward hell, they are the worse situated and further astray from the [right] way.
25:35
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُ أَخَاهُ هَارُونَ وَزِيرًا
*Na hakika tulimpa Musa Kitabu na tukamweka pamoja naye nduguye, Harun, kuwa waziri.
*Certainly We gave Moses the Book and We made Aaron, his brother, accompany him as a minister.
25:36
فَقُلْنَا اذْهَبَا إِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَاهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا
*Tukawaambia: Nendeni kwa watu walio kanusha Ishara zetu. Basi tukawateketeza kabisa.
*Then We said, ‘Let the two of you go to the people who have denied Our signs.’ Then We destroyed them utterly.
25:37
وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ آيَةً ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
*Na watu wa Nuhu, walipo wakanusha Mitume, tuliwazamisha, na tukawafanya ni Ishara kwa watu. Na tumewaandalia wenye kudhulumu adhabu chungu.
*And Noah’s people, We drowned them when they impugned the apostles, and We made them a sign for mankind, and We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
25:38
وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَأَصْحَابَ الرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرًا
*Na tuliwaangamiza kina A´di na Thamudi na watu wa Rass na vizazi vingi vilivyo kuwa kati yao.
*And ‘Ad and Thamud, and the people of Rass, and many generations between them.
25:39
وَكُلًّا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ الْأَمْثَالَ ۖ وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا
*Na wote tuliwapigia mifano, na wote tuliwaangamiza kabisa kabisa.
*For each of them We drew examples, and each We destroyed utterly.
25:40
وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ ۚ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرَوْنَهَا ۚ بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا
*Na kwa yakini wao wanafika kwenye nchi ilio teremshiwa mvua mbaya. Basi, je, hawakuwa wakiiona? Bali walikuwa hawataraji kufufuliwa.
*Certainly they must have passed the town on which an evil shower was rained. Have they not seen it? Rather, they did not expect resurrection [to happen].
25:41
وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إِنْ يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَٰذَا الَّذِي بَعَثَ اللَّهُ رَسُولًا
*Na wanapo kuona hawakuchukulii ila ni mzaha tu, na (wanasema): Ati ndiye huyu Mwenyezi Mungu aliye mtuma kuwa Mtume?
*When they see you they just take you in derision: ‘Is this the one whom Allah has sent as an apostle!?
25:42
إِنْ كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا لَوْلَا أَنْ صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
*Kwa hakika alikuwa karibu kutupoteza tuiache miungu yetu, ingeli kuwa hatukushikamana nayo kwa kuvumilia. Bado watakuja jua, watakapo iona adhabu, ni nani aliye potea njia.
*Indeed he was about to lead us astray from our gods, had we not stood firm by them.’ Soon they will know, when they sight the punishment, who is further astray from the [right] way.
25:43
أَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ أَفَأَنْتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا
*Je! Umemwona aliye yafanya matamanio yake kuwa ndio mungu wake? Basi je, wewe utakuwa ni wakili wake?
*Have you seen him who has taken his desire to be his god? Is it your duty to watch over him?
25:44
أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
*Au wewe unadhani kwamba wengi wao wanasikia au wanaelewa? Hao hawakuwa ila ni kama nyama hoa tu, bali wao wamepotea zaidi njia.
*Do you suppose that most of them listen or exercise their reason? They are just like cattle; indeed, they are further astray from the way.
25:45
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَجَعَلَهُ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا
*Je! Huoni jinsi Mola wako Mlezi anavyo kitandaza kivuli. Na angeli taka angeli kifanya kikatulia tu. Kisha tumelifanya jua kuwa ni kiongozi wake.
*Have you not regarded how your Lord spreads the twilight? (Had He wished He would have made it stand still.) Then We made the sun a beacon for it.
25:46
ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا
*Kisha tunakivutia kwetu kidogo kidogo.
*Then We retract it toward Ourselves, with a gentle retracting.
25:47
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَالنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَجَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُورًا
*Naye ndiye aliye kufanyieni usiku kuwa ni vazi, na usingizi kuwa mapumziko, na akakufanyieni mchana ni kufufuka.
*It is He who made for you the night as a covering and sleep for rest and He made the day a recall to life.
25:48
وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً طَهُورًا
*Naye ndiye anaye zituma pepo kuwa bishara njema kabla ya rehema yake, na tunayateremsha kutoka mbinguni maji safi.
*And it is He who sends the winds as harbingers of His mercy, and We send down from the sky purifying water,
25:49
لِنُحْيِيَ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَا أَنْعَامًا وَأَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيرًا
*Ili kwa hayo tuihuishe nchi iliyo kufa, na tuwanyweshe wanyama na watu wengi tulio waumba.
*with which We revive a dead country and provide water to many of the cattle and humans We have created.
25:50
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَاهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا فَأَبَىٰ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا
*Na kwa yakini tumeisarifu kati yao wapate kukumbuka. Lakini watu wengi wanakataa ila kukufuru.
*Certainly We distribute it among them so that they may take admonition. But most people are only intent on ingratitude.
25:51
وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَذِيرًا
*Na tungeli taka tungeli peleka katika kila mji Mwonyaji.
*Had We wished, We would have sent a warner to every town.
25:52
فَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَجَاهِدْهُمْ بِهِ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا
*Basi usiwat´ii makafiri. Na pambana nao kwayo kwa Jihadi kubwa.
*So do not obey the faithless, but wage a great jihad against them with it.
25:53
وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَحْجُورًا
*Naye ndiye aliye zipeleka bahari mbili, hii tamu mno, na hii ya chumvi chungu. Na akaweka baina yao kinga na kizuizi kizuiacho.
*It is He who merged the two seas: this one sweet and agreeable, and that one briny and bitter, and between the two He set a barrier and a forbidding hindrance.
25:54
وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا
*Naye ndiye aliye muumba mwanaadamu kutokana na maji, akamjaalia kuwa na nasaba na ushemeji. Na Mola wako Mlezi ni Muweza.
*It is He who created the human being from water, then invested him with ties of blood and marriage, and your Lord is all-powerful.
25:55
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ ۗ وَكَانَ الْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِ ظَهِيرًا
*Na wanayaabudu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu yasiyo wafaa wala yasiyo wadhuru. Na kafiri daima ni msaidizi wa kumpinga Mola wake Mlezi.
*They worship besides Allah that which neither brings them any benefit nor causes them any harm, and the faithless one is ever an abettor against his Lord.
25:56
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
*Nasi hatukukutuma ila kuwa ni Mbashiri na Mwonyaji.
*We did not send you except as a bearer of good news and as a warner.
25:57
قُلْ مَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا
*Sema: Sikukuombeni ujira juu yake; ila atakaye na ashike njia iendayo kwa Mola wake Mlezi.
*Say, ‘I do not ask you any reward for it, except that anyone who wishes should take the way to his Lord.’
25:58
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا
*Na mtegemee Aliye Hai, ambaye hafi. Na umtukuze kwa sifa zake. Na yatosha kwake kuwa yeye ni Mwenye khabari za dhambi za waja wake.
*Put your trust in the Living One who does not die, and celebrate His praise. He suffices as one all-aware of the sins of His servants.
25:59
الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۚ الرَّحْمَٰنُ فَاسْأَلْ بِهِ خَبِيرًا
*Ambaye ameziumba mbingu na ardhi, na viliomo ndani yake kwa siku sita. Kisha akatawala juu ya A´rshi, Arrahman, Mwingi wa Rehema! Uliza khabari zake kwa wamjuaye.
*He, who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, and then settled on the Throne, the All-beneficent; so ask someone who is well aware about Him.
25:60
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ قَالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمَٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا ۩
*Na wanapo ambiwa: Msujudieni Arrahman! Wao husema: Ni nani Arrahman? Je! Tumsujudie unaye tuamrisha wewe tu? Na huwazidishia chuki.
*When they are told: ‘Prostrate yourselves before the All-beneficent,’ they say, ‘What is ‘‘the All-beneficent’’? Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you bid us?’ And it increases their aversion.
25:61
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَاجًا وَقَمَرًا مُنِيرًا
*Ametukuka aliye zijaalia nyota mbinguni, na akajaalia humo taa na mwezi unao ng´ara.
*Blessed is He who appointed houses in the sky and set in it a lamp and a shining moon.
25:62
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا
*Naye ndiye aliye fanya usiku na mchana kufuatana kwa nafuu ya anaye taka kukumbuka, au anaye taka kushukuru.
*It is He who made the night and the day alternate for someone who desires to take admonition, or desires to give thanks.
25:63
وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا
*Na waja wa Arrahman Mwingi wa Rehema ni wale wanao tembea ulimwenguni kwa staha, na wajinga wakiwasemeza hujibu: Salama!
*The servants of the All-beneficent are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them, say, ‘Peace!’
25:64
وَالَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَامًا
*Na wale wanao kesha kwa ajili ya Mola wao Mlezi kwa kusujudu na kusimama.
*Those who spend the night for their Lord, prostrating and standing [in worship].
25:65
وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا
*Na wale wanao sema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Tuondolee adhabu ya Jahannamu. Hakika adhabu yake ikimpata mtu haimwachi.
*Those who say, ‘Our Lord! Turn away from us the punishment of hell. Indeed its punishment is enduring.
25:66
إِنَّهَا سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
*Hakika hiyo ni kituo na makao mabaya.
*Indeed it is an evil station and abode.’
25:67
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنْفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًا
*Na wale ambao wanapo tumia hawatumii kwa fujo wala hawafanyi ubakhili, bali wanakuwa katikati baina ya hayo.
*Those who are neither wasteful nor tightfisted when spending, but balanced between these [two extremes].
25:68
وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا
*Na wale wasio mwomba mungu mwengine pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu, wala hawaui nafsi aliyo iharimisha Mwenyezi Mungu isipo kuwa kwa haki, wala hawazini - na atakaye fanya hayo atapata madhara,
*Those who do not invoke another deity besides Allah, and do not kill a soul [whose life] Allah has made inviolable, except with due cause, and do not commit fornication. (Whoever does that shall encounter its retribution,
25:69
يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا
*Atazidishiwa adhabu Siku ya Kiyama, na atadumu humo kwa kufedheheka.
*the punishment being doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection. In it he will abide in humiliation forever,
25:70
إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُولَٰئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
*Isipo kuwa atakaye tubu, na akaamini, na akatenda vitendo vyema. Basi hao Mwenyezi Mungu atayabadilisha maovu yao yawe mema. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*except those who repent, attain faith, and act righteously. For such, Allah will replace their misdeeds with good deeds, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
25:71
وَمَنْ تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًا
*Na aliye tubu na akafanya mema, basi hakika huyo ametubu kweli kweli kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*And whoever repents and acts righteously indeed turns to Allah with due penitence).
25:72
وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِاللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا كِرَامًا
*Na wale ambao hawatoi ushahidi wa uwongo, na pindi wapitapo penye upuuzi, hupita kwa hishima yao.
*Those who do not give false testimony, and when they come upon frivolity, pass by with dignity.
25:73
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا
*Na wale ambao wanapo kumbushwa Ishara za Mola wao Mlezi hawajifanyi viziwi nazo, na vipofu.
*Those who, when reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to them.
25:74
وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
*Na wale wanao sema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Tupe katika wake zetu na wenetu yaburudishayo macho, na utujaalie tuwe waongozi kwa wachamngu.
*And those who say, ‘Our Lord! Give us joy and comfort in our spouses and offspring, and make us imams of the Godwary.’
25:75
أُولَٰئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ الْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَامًا
*Hao ndio watakao lipwa makao ya juu kwa kuwa walisubiri, na watakuta humo maamkio na salamu.
*Those shall be rewarded with sublime abodes for their patience and steadfastness, and they shall be met there with greetings and ‘Peace,’
25:76
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
*Wadumu humo - kituo na makao mazuri kabisa.
*to abide in them [forever], an excellent station and abode.
25:77
قُلْ مَا يَعْبَأُ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلَا دُعَاؤُكُمْ ۖ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًا
*Sema: Mola wangu Mlezi asinge kujalini lau kuwa si kuomba kwenu. Lakini nyinyi mmemkadhibisha. Basi adhabu lazima iwe.
*Say, ‘Were it not for the sake of summoning you [to faith], what store my Lord would have set by you? But you impugned [me and my summons], so it will soon follow as a result.’
