Sura 24 - An-Noor

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
24:1
سُورَةٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهَا وَفَرَضْنَاهَا وَأَنْزَلْنَا فِيهَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
*HII NI SURA Tuliyo iteremsha na tukailazimisha; tukateremsha ndani yake Aya zilizo wazi ili mkumbuke.
*[This is] a surah which We have sent down and prescribed, and We have sent down in it manifest signs so that you may take admonition.
24:2
الزَّانِيَةُ وَالزَّانِي فَاجْلِدُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ ۖ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُمْ بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۖ وَلْيَشْهَدْ عَذَابَهُمَا طَائِفَةٌ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Mzinifu mwanamke na mzinifu mwanamume, mtandikeni kila mmoja katika wao bakora mia. Wala isikushikeni huruma kwa ajili yao katika hukumu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, ikiwa nyinyi mnamuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho. Na lishuhudie adhabu yao kundi la Waumini.
*As for the fornicatress and the fornicator, strike each of them a hundred lashes, and let not pity for them overcome you in Allah’s law, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day, and let their punishment be witnessed by a group of the faithful.
24:3
الزَّانِي لَا يَنْكِحُ إِلَّا زَانِيَةً أَوْ مُشْرِكَةً وَالزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنْكِحُهَا إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوْ مُشْرِكٌ ۚ وَحُرِّمَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Mwanamume mzinifu hamwoi ila mwanamke mzinifu au mwanamke mshirikina. Na mwanamke mzinifu haolewi ila na mwanamume mzinifu au mshirikina. Na hayo yameharimishwa kwa Waumini.
*The fornicator will not marry anyone but a fornicatress or an idolatress, and the fornicatress will be married by none except a fornicator or an idolater, and that is forbidden to the faithful.
24:4
وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَانِينَ جَلْدَةً وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَادَةً أَبَدًا ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
*Na wanao wasingizia wanawake mahashumu, kisha wasilete mashahidi wane, basi watandikeni bakora thamanini, na msiwakubalie ushahidi wao tena. Na hao ndio wapotovu.
*As for those who accuse chaste women and do not bring four witnesses, strike them eighty lashes, and never accept any testimony from them after that, and they are transgressors,
24:5
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Isipo kuwa wale walio tubu baada ya hayo na wakatengenea; kwani bila ya shaka Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msamehevu, Mwenye kurehemu.
*excepting those who repent after that and reform, for Allah is indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful.
24:6
وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلَّا أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
*Na wale wanao wasingizia wake zao na hawana mashahidi ila nafsi zao, basi ushahidi wa mmoja wao utakuwa kushuhudilia mara nne kwa kiapo cha Mwenyezi Mungu ya kwamba hakika yeye ni katika wasema kweli.
*As for those who accuse their wives [of adultery], but have no witnesses except themselves, the testimony of such a man shall be a fourfold testimony [sworn] by Allah that he is indeed stating the truth,
24:7
وَالْخَامِسَةُ أَنَّ لَعْنَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ
*Na mara ya tano kwamba laana ya Mwenyezi Mungu iwe juu yake ikiwa ni miongoni mwa waongo.
*and a fifth [oath] that Allah’s wrath shall be upon him if he were lying.
24:8
وَيَدْرَأُ عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ أَنْ تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ
*Na mke itamwondokea adhabu kwa kutoa shahada mara nne kwa kiapo cha Mwenyezi Mungu ya kwamba huyu mume ni miongoni mwa waongo.
*The punishment shall be averted from her by her testifying with four oaths [sworn] by Allah that he is indeed lying,
24:9
وَالْخَامِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
*Na mara ya tano ya kwamba ghadhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu iwe juu yake kama mumewe yu miongoni mwa wanao sema kweli.
*and a fifth [oath] that Allah’s wrath shall be upon her if he were stating the truth.
24:10
وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ
*Na lau kuwa si fadhila ya Mwenyezi Mungu juu yenu na rehema yake, na ya kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mpokeaji toba....
*Were it not for Allah’s grace and His mercy upon you, and that Allah is all-clement, all-wise....
24:11
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بِالْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌ مِنْكُمْ ۚ لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرًّا لَكُمْ ۖ بَلْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۚ لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ مَا اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ ۚ وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ كِبْرَهُ مِنْهُمْ لَهُ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Hakika wale walio leta uwongo ni kundi miongoni mwenu. Msifikiri ni shari kwenu, bali hiyo ni kheri kwenu. Kila mtu katika wao atapata aliyo yachuma katika madhambi. Na yule aliyejitwika sehemu yake kubwa miongoni mwao, atapata adhabu kubwa.
*Indeed those who initiated the calumny are a group from among yourselves. Do not suppose it is bad thing for you. No, it is for your good. Each man among them bears [the onus for] his share in the sin, and as for him who assumed its major burden from among them, there is a great punishment for him.
24:12
لَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًا وَقَالُوا هَٰذَا إِفْكٌ مُبِينٌ
*Kwa nini mlipo sikia khabari hii, wanaume Waumini na wanawake Waumini hawakuwadhania wenzao mema, na kusema: Huu ni uzushi dhaahiri?
*When you [first] heard about it, why did not the faithful, men and women, think well of their folks, and say, ‘This is an obvious calumny’?
24:13
لَوْلَا جَاءُوا عَلَيْهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِالشُّهَدَاءِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ
*Kwa nini hawakuleta mashahidi wane? Na ilivyo kuwa hawakuleta mashahidi wane basi hao mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni waongo.
*Why did they not bring four witnesses to it? So when they could not bring the witnesses, they are liars in Allah’s sight.
24:14
وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَا أَفَضْتُمْ فِيهِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Na lau kuwa si fadhila ya Mwenyezi Mungu juu yenu na rehema yake katika dunia na Akhera, bila ya shaka ingeli kupateni adhabu kubwa kwa sababu ya yale mliyo jiingiza.
*Were it not for Allah’s grace and His mercy upon you in this world and the Hereafter, there would have befallen you a great punishment for what you ventured into,
24:15
إِذْ تَلَقَّوْنَهُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَتَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِكُمْ مَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَتَحْسَبُونَهُ هَيِّنًا وَهُوَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمٌ
*Mlipo yapokea kwa ndimi zenu na mkasema kwa vinywa vyenu msiyo yajua, na mlifikiri ni jambo dogo, kumbe mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni kubwa.
*when you were receiving it on your tongues, and were mouthing something of which you had no knowledge, supposing it to be a light matter, while it was a grave [matter] with Allah.
24:16
وَلَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ قُلْتُمْ مَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَٰذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَٰذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Na kwa nini mlipo yasikia msiseme: Haitufalii kuzungumza haya. Subhanak Umetakasika! Huu ni uzushi mkubwa!
*And why did you not, when you heard it, say, ‘It is not for us to say such a thing. [O Allah!] You are immaculate! This is a monstrous calumny!’
24:17
يَعِظُكُمُ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَعُودُوا لِمِثْلِهِ أَبَدًا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
*Mwenyezi Mungu anakuonyeni msirejee tena kufanya kama haya kabisa, ikiwa nyinyi ni Waumini!
*Allah advises you lest you should ever repeat the like of it, should you be faithful.
24:18
وَيُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu anakubainisheni Aya. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi Mwenye hikima.
*Allah clarifies the signs for you, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
24:19
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَشِيعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
*Kwa hakika wale wanao penda uenee uchafu kwa walio amini, watapata adhabu chungu katika dunia na Akhera. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua na nyinyi hamjui.
*Indeed those who want indecency to spread among the faithful—there is a painful punishment for them in the world and the Hereafter, and Allah knows and you do not know.
24:20
وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Na lau kuwa si fadhila ya Mwenyezi Mungu juu yenu na rehema yake, na kuwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mpole, Mwenye kurehemu....
*Were it not for Allah’s grace and His mercy upon you, and that Allah is all-kind, all-merciful…
24:21
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَّبِعْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ مَا زَكَىٰ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ أَبَدًا وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُزَكِّي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Enyi mlio amini! Msizifuate nyayo za Shet´ani. Na atakaye fuata nyayo za Shet´ani basi yeye huamrisha machafu na maovu. Na lau kuwa si fadhila ya Mwenyezi Mungu na rehema yake juu yenu, asingeli takasika miongoni mwenu kabisa hata mmoja. Lakini Mwenyezi Mungu humtakasa amtakaye, na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusikia, Mwenye kujua.
*O you who have faith! Do not follow in Satan’s steps. Whoever follows in Satan’s steps [should know that] he indeed prompts [you to commit] indecent and wrongful acts. Were it not for Allah’s grace and His mercy upon you, not one of you would ever become pure. But Allah purifies whomever He wishes, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.
24:22
وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُولُو الْفَضْلِ مِنْكُمْ وَالسَّعَةِ أَنْ يُؤْتُوا أُولِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Na wale katika nyinyi wenye fadhila na wasaa wasiape kutowapa jamaa zao na masikini na walio hama kwa Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wasamehe, na waachilie mbali. Je! Nyinyi hampendi Mwenyezi Mungu akusameheni? Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe Mwenye kurehemu.
*The well-off and the opulent among you should not vow that they will not give [any longer] to the relatives and the needy, and to those who have migrated in the way of Allah, and let them excuse and forbear. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
24:23
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Hakika wanao wasingizia wanawake, wanao jihishimu, walio ghafilika, Waumini, wamelaaniwa duniani na Akhera, nao watapata adhabu kubwa.
*Indeed those who accuse chaste and unwary faithful women shall be cursed in this world and the Hereafter, and there shall be a great punishment for them
24:24
يَوْمَ تَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ وَأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Siku ambayo zitawashuhudia ndimi zao na mikono yao na miguu yao kwa waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*on the day when witness shall be given against them by their tongues, their hands, and their feet concerning what they used to do.
24:25
يَوْمَئِذٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ اللَّهُ دِينَهُمُ الْحَقَّ وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِينُ
*Siku hiyo Mwenyezi Mungu atawapa sawa sawa malipo yao ya haki, na watajua kwamba hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Haki Iliyo Wazi.
*On that day, Allah will pay them in full their due recompense, and they shall know that Allah is the Manifest Reality.
24:26
الْخَبِيثَاتُ لِلْخَبِيثِينَ وَالْخَبِيثُونَ لِلْخَبِيثَاتِ ۖ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ مُبَرَّءُونَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ ۖ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ
*Wanawake waovu ni wa wanaume waovu, na wanaume waovu ni wa wanawake waovu. Na wanawake wema ni wa wanaume wema, na wanaume wema ni wa wanawake wema. Hao wameepushwa na hayo wanayo yasema; wao watapata msamaha na riziki ya ukarimu.
*Vicious women are for vicious men, and vicious men for vicious women. Good women are for good men, and good men for good women. These are absolved of what they say [about them]. For them is forgiveness and a noble provision.
24:27
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّىٰ تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَىٰ أَهْلِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
*Enyi mlio amini! Msiingie nyumba zisio nyumba zenu mpaka mwombe ruhusa, na mwatolee salamu wenyewe. Hayo ni bora kwenu mpate kukumbuka.
*O you who have faith! Do not enter houses other than your own until you have announced [your arrival] and greeted their occupants. That is better for you. Maybe you will take admonition.
24:28
فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فِيهَا أَحَدًا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا حَتَّىٰ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ قِيلَ لَكُمُ ارْجِعُوا فَارْجِعُوا ۖ هُوَ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ
*Na msipo mkuta mtu humo basi msiingie mpaka mruhusiwe. Na mkiambiwa: Rudini! Basi rudini. Hivi ni usafi zaidi kwenu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua mnayo yatenda.
*But if you do not find anyone in them, do not enter them until you are given permission. And if you are told: ‘Turn back,’ then do turn back. That is more decent for you. Allah knows best what you do.
24:29
لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ مَسْكُونَةٍ فِيهَا مَتَاعٌ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ
*Si vibaya kwenu kuingia nyumba zisio kaliwa ambazo ndani yake yamo manufaa yenu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua mnayo yadhihirisha na mnayo yaficha.
*There will be no sin upon you in entering [without announcing] uninhabited houses wherein you have goods belonging to you. Allah knows whatever you disclose and whatever you conceal.
24:30
قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ
*Waambie Waumini wanaume wainamishe macho yao, na wazilinde tupu zao. Hili ni takaso bora kwao. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anazo khabari za wanayo yafanya.
*Tell the faithful men to cast down their looks and to guard their private parts. That is more decent for them. Allah is indeed well aware of what they do.
24:31
وَقُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ ۖ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَائِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَائِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ أَوْ نِسَائِهِنَّ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ أَوِ التَّابِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُولِي الْإِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ أَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَىٰ عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ ۖ وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِنْ زِينَتِهِنَّ ۚ وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
*Na waambie Waumini wanawake wainamishe macho yao, na wazilinde tupu zao, wala wasionyeshe uzuri wao isipo kuwa unao dhihirika. Na waangushe shungi zao juu ya vifua vyao, wala wasionyeshe uzuri wao ila kwa waume zao, au baba zao, au baba wa waume zao, au watoto wao, au watoto wa waume zao, au kaka zao, au wana wa kaka zao, au wana wa dada zao, au wanawake wenzao, au iliyo wamiliki mikono yao ya kuume, au wafwasi wanaume wasio na matamanio, au watoto ambao hawajajua mambo yaliyo khusu uke. Wala wasipige chini miguu yao ili yajuulikane mapambo waliyo yaficha. Na tubuni nyote kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, enyi Waumini, ili mpate kufanikiwa.
*And tell the faithful women to cast down their looks and to guard their private parts, and not to display their charms, beyond what is [acceptably] visible, and let them draw their scarfs over their bosoms, and not display their charms except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slave girls, or male dependants lacking [sexual] desire, or children who are not yet conscious of female sexuality. And let them not thump their feet to make known their hidden ornaments. Rally to Allah in repentance, O faithful, so that you may be felicitous.
24:32
وَأَنْكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنْكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ ۚ إِنْ يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Na waozeni wajane miongoni mwenu na wema katika watumwa wenu na wajakazi wenu. Wakiwa mafakiri Mwenyezi Mungu atawatajirisha kwa fadhila yake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye wasaa Mwenye kujua.
*Marry off those who are single among you, and the upright among your male and female slaves. If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His grace, and Allah is all-bounteous, all-knowing.
24:33
وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّىٰ يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا ۖ وَآتُوهُمْ مِنْ مَالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَمَنْ يُكْرِهْهُنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Na wajizuilie na machafu wale wasio pata cha kuolea, mpaka Mwenyezi Mungu awatajirishe kwa fadhila yake. Na wanao taka kuandikiwa uhuru katika wale ambao mikono yenu ya kulia imewamiliki, basi waandikieni kama mkiona wema kwao. Na wapeni katika mali ya Mwenyezi Mungu aliyo kupeni. Wala msiwashurutishe vijakazi vyenu kufanya zina kwa ajili ya kutafuta pato la maisha ya dunia, ilhali wao wanataka kujihishimu. Na atakaye walazimisha basi Mwenyezi Mungu baada ya kulazimishwa kwao huko, atawasamehe, kwani Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*Those who cannot afford marriage should be continent until Allah enriches them out of His grace. As for those who seek an emancipation deal from among your slaves, make such a deal with them if you know any good in them, and give them out of the wealth of Allah which He has given you. Do not compel your female slaves to prostitution when they desire to be chaste, seeking the transitory wares of the life of this world. Should anyone compel them, Allah will be forgiving and merciful to them following their compulsion.
24:34
وَلَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ آيَاتٍ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ وَمَثَلًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
*Na kwa yakini tumekuteremshieni Ishara zilizo wazi na mifano kutokana na walio tangulia kabla yenu na mawaidha kwa wachamngu.
*Certainly We have sent down to you manifest signs and a description of those who passed before you, and an advice for the Godwary.
24:35
اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ الزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ يُوقَدُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِيءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ ۚ نُورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ ۗ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ لِنُورِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
*Mwenyezi Mungu ni Nuru ya Mbingu na Ardhi. Mfano wa Nuru yake ni kama shubaka lenye kuwekwa ndani yake taa. Taa ile imo katika tungi. Tungi lile ni kama nyota inayo meremeta, inayo washwa kwa mafuta yanayo toka katika mti ulio barikiwa, mzaituni. Si wa mashariki wala magharibi. Yanakaribia mafuta yake kung´aa wenyewe ingawa moto haujayagusa - Nuru juu ya Nuru. Mwenyezi Mungu humwongoa kwenye Nuru yake amtakaye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu huwapigia watu mifano. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kujua kila kitu.
*Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is a niche wherein is a lamp—the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star—lit from a blessed olive tree, neither eastern nor western, whose oil almost lights up, though fire should not touch it. Light upon light. Allah guides to His Light whomever He wishes. Allah draws parables for mankind, and Allah has knowledge of all things.
24:36
فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ
*Katika Nyumba ambazo Mwenyezi Mungu ameamrisha zitukuzwe, na humo litajwe jina lake, wanamtakasa humo asubuhi na jioni
*In houses Allah has allowed to be raised and wherein His Name is celebrated; He is glorified therein, morning and evening,
24:37
رِجَالٌ لَا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ ۙ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ
*Watu ambao biashara wala kuuza hakuwashughulishi na kumdhukuru Mwenyezi Mungu, na kushika Sala, na kutoa Zaka. Wanaikhofu Siku ambayo nyoyo na macho yatageuka.
*by men whom neither trade nor bargaining distracts from the remembrance of Allah and the maintenance of prayer and the giving of zakat. They are fearful of a day wherein the hearts and the sights will be transformed,
24:38
لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا وَيَزِيدَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
*Ili Mwenyezi Mungu awalipe bora ya waliyo yatenda, na awazidishie katika fadhila zake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu humruzuku amtakaye bila ya hisabu.
*so that Allah may reward them by the best of what they have done, and enhance them out of His grace, and Allah provides for whomever He wishes without any reckoning.
24:39
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ مَاءً حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَهُ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْئًا وَوَجَدَ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ فَوَفَّاهُ حِسَابَهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
*Na walio kufuru vitendo vyao ni kama sarabi (mazigazi) uwandani. Mwenye kiu huyadhania ni maji. Hata akiyaendea hapati chochote. Na atamkuta Mwenyezi Mungu hapo naye amlipe hisabu yake sawa sawa. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwepesi wa kuhisabu.
*As for the faithless, their works are like a mirage in a plain, which the thirsty man supposes to be water. When he comes to it, he finds it to be nothing; but there he finds Allah, who will pay him his full account, and Allah is swift at reckoning.
24:40
أَوْ كَظُلُمَاتٍ فِي بَحْرٍ لُجِّيٍّ يَغْشَاهُ مَوْجٌ مِنْ فَوْقِهِ مَوْجٌ مِنْ فَوْقِهِ سَحَابٌ ۚ ظُلُمَاتٌ بَعْضُهَا فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ إِذَا أَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ لَمْ يَكَدْ يَرَاهَا ۗ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّهُ لَهُ نُورًا فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ نُورٍ
*Au ni kama giza katika bahari kuu, iliyo funikwa na mawimbi juu ya mawimbi, na juu yake yapo mawingu. Giza juu ya giza. Akiutoa mtu mkono wake anakaribia asiuone. Na ambaye Mwenyezi Mungu hakumjaalia kuwa na nuru hawi na nuru.
*Or like the manifold darkness in a deep sea, covered by billow upon billow, overcast by clouds; manifold [layers of] darkness, one on top of another: when he brings out his hand, he can hardly see it. One whom Allah has not granted any light has no light.
24:41
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالطَّيْرُ صَافَّاتٍ ۖ كُلٌّ قَدْ عَلِمَ صَلَاتَهُ وَتَسْبِيحَهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ
*Je! Huoni kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu vinamtakasa vilivyomo katika mbingu na ardhi, na ndege wakikunjua mbawa zao? Kila mmoja amekwisha jua Sala yake na namna ya kumtakasa kwake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuyajua wayatendayo.
*Have you not regarded that Allah is glorified by everyone in the heavens and the earth, and the birds spreading their wings. Each knows his prayer and glorification, and Allah knows best what they do.
24:42
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ
*Na ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi, na kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ndio marejeo ya wote.
*To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and toward Allah is the destination.
24:43
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُزْجِي سَحَابًا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُ رُكَامًا فَتَرَى الْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَالِهِ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ جِبَالٍ فِيهَا مِنْ بَرَدٍ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَصْرِفُهُ عَنْ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرْقِهِ يَذْهَبُ بِالْأَبْصَارِ
*Je! Huoni ya kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu huyasukuma mawingu, kisha huyaambatisha, kisha huyafanya mirundi? Basi utaona mvua ikitoka kati yake. Na huteremsha kutoka juu kwenye milima ya mawingu mvua ya mawe, akamsibu nayo amtakaye na akamuepusha nayo amtakaye. Hukurubia mmetuko wa umeme wake kupofua macho.
*Have you not regarded that Allah drives the clouds, then He composes them, then He piles them up, whereat you see the rain issuing from its midst? And He sends down hail from the sky, out of the mountains that are in it, and He strikes with it whomever He wishes, and turns it away from whomever He wishes. The brilliance of its lightening almost takes away the sight.
24:44
يُقَلِّبُ اللَّهُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِأُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ
*Mwenyezi Mungu hubadilisha usiku na mchana. Hakika katika hayo yapo mazingatio kwa wenye kuona.
*Allah alternates the night and the day. There is indeed a lesson in that for those who have insight.
24:45
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَابَّةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَىٰ بَطْنِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَىٰ رِجْلَيْنِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَىٰ أَرْبَعٍ ۚ يَخْلُقُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu ameumba kila kinyama kutokana na maji. Wengine katika wao huenda kwa matumbo yao, na wengine huenda kwa miguu miwili, na wengine huenda kwa miguu mine. Mwenyezi Mungu huumba ayatakayo. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
*Allah created every animal from water. Among them are some that creep upon their bellies, and among them are some that walk on two feet, and among them are some that walk on four. Allah creates whatever He wishes. Indeed Allah has power over all things.
24:46
لَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا آيَاتٍ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
*Kwa yakini tumeteremsha Ishara zinazo bainisha. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hummwongoa amtakaye kwenye Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*Certainly We have sent down illuminating signs, and Allah guides whomever He wishes to a straight path.
24:47
وَيَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالرَّسُولِ وَأَطَعْنَا ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَا أُولَٰئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Na wanasema: Tumemuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume, na tumet´ii. Kisha kikundi katika hao hugeuka baada ya hayo. Wala hao si wenye kuamini.
*They say, ‘We have faith in Allah and His Apostle, and we obey.’ Then, after that, a part of them refuse to comply, and they do not have faith.
24:48
وَإِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ
*Na wanapo itwa kumuendea Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake ili ahukumu baina yao, kipo kikundi katika wao kinakataa.
*When they are summoned to Allah and His Apostle that He may judge between them, behold, a part of them turn aside.
24:49
وَإِنْ يَكُنْ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ يَأْتُوا إِلَيْهِ مُذْعِنِينَ
*Na ikiwa haki ni yao, wanamjia kwa kut´ii.
*But if justice be on their side, they come compliantly to him.
24:50
أَفِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ أَمِ ارْتَابُوا أَمْ يَخَافُونَ أَنْ يَحِيفَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ بَلْ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
*Je! Wana maradhi katika nyoyo zao, au wanaona shaka, au wanaogopa ya kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake watawadhulumu? Bali hao ndio madhaalimu.
*Is there a sickness in their hearts? Do they have doubts, or fear that Allah and His Apostle will be unjust to them? Indeed, it is they who are the wrongdoers.
24:51
إِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَنْ يَقُولُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
*Haiwi kauli ya Waumini wanapo itwa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake ili ahukumu baina yao, ila ni kusema: Tumesikia, na tumet´ii! Na hao ndio wenye kufanikiwa.
*All the response of the faithful, when they are summoned to Allah and His Apostle that He may judge between them, is to say, ‘We hear and obey.’ It is they who are the felicitous.
24:52
وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَخْشَ اللَّهَ وَيَتَّقْهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ
*Na wenye kumt´ii Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, na wakamwogopa Mwenyezi Mungu na wakamcha, basi hao ndio wenye kufuzu.
*Whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, and fears Allah and is wary of Him—it is they who will be the triumphant.
24:53
وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِنْ أَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَخْرُجُنَّ ۖ قُلْ لَا تُقْسِمُوا ۖ طَاعَةٌ مَعْرُوفَةٌ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
*Na wanaapa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ukomo wa kiapo chao ya kwamba ukiwaamrisha kwa yakini watatoka. Sema: Msiape! Ut´iifu unajuulikana. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anazo khabari za mnayo yatenda.
*They swear by Allah with solemn oaths that if you order them they will surely march out. Say, ‘Do not swear! Honourable obedience [is all that is expected of you]. Allah is indeed well aware of what you do.’
24:54
قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ ۖ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا حُمِّلْتُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تُطِيعُوهُ تَهْتَدُوا ۚ وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
*Sema: Mt´iini Mwenyezi Mungu, na mt´iini Mtume. Na mkigeuka, basi yaliyo juu yake ni aliyo bebeshwa, na yaliyo juu yenu ni mliyo bebshwa nyinyi. Na mkimt´ii yeye mtaongoka. Na hapana juu ya Mtume ila kufikisha Ujumbe wazi wazi.
*Say, ‘Obey Allah, and obey the Apostle.’ But if you turn your backs, [you should know that] he is only responsible for his burden and you are responsible for your own burden, and if you obey him, you will be guided, and the Apostle’s duty is only to communicate in clear terms.
24:55
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
*Mwenyezi Mungu amewaahidi wale walio amini miongoni mwenu na wakatenda mema, ya kwamba atawafanya makhalifa katika ardhi kama alivyo wafanya makhalifa wa kabla yao, na kwa yakini atawasimamishia Dini yao aliyo wapendelea, na atawabadilishia amani baada ya khofu yao. Wawe wananiabudu Mimi, wala wasinishirikishe na chochote. Na watao kufuru baada ya hayo, basi hao ndio wapotovu.
*Allah has promised those of you who have faith and do righteous deeds that He will surely make them successors in the earth, just as He made those who were before them successors, and He will surely establish for them their religion which He has approved for them, and that He will surely change their state to security after their fear, while they worship Me, not ascribing any partners to Me. Whoever is ungrateful after that—it is they who are the transgressors.
24:56
وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
*Na shikeni Sala, na toeni Zaka, na mt´iini Mtume, ili mpate kurehemewa.
*Maintain the prayer and give the zakat, and obey the Apostle so that you may receive [Allah’s] mercy.
24:57
لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ ۖ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
*Msiwadhanie walio kufuru kwamba watashinda katika nchi. Na makaazi yao ni Motoni, na hakika ni maovu kweli marejeo yao.
*Do not suppose that those who are faithless can frustrate [Allah] on the earth. Their refuge shall be the Fire, and it is surely an evil destination.
24:58
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِيَسْتَأْذِنْكُمُ الَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحُلُمَ مِنْكُمْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ۚ مِنْ قَبْلِ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَحِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُمْ مِنَ الظَّهِيرَةِ وَمِنْ بَعْدِ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ ۚ ثَلَاثُ عَوْرَاتٍ لَكُمْ ۚ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌ بَعْدَهُنَّ ۚ طَوَّافُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
*Enyi mlio amini! Nawakutakeni idhini iliyo wamiliki mikono yenu ya kulia na walio bado kubaalighi miongoni mwenu mara tatu - kabla ya Sala ya alfajiri, na wakati mnapo vua nguo zenu adhuhuri, na baada ya Sala ya isha. Hizi ni nyakati tatu za faragha kwenu. Si vibaya kwenu wala kwao baada ya nyakati hizi, kuzungukiana nyinyi kwa nyinyi. Hivyo ndivyo Mwenyezi Mungu anavyo kuelezeni Aya zake, na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi Mwenye hikima.
*O you who have faith! Your slaves and any of you who have not yet reached puberty should seek your permission three times: before the dawn prayer, and when you put off your garments at noon, and after the night prayer. These are three times of privacy for you. Apart from these, it is not sinful of you or them to frequent one another [freely]. Thus does Allah clarify the signs for you, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
24:59
وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الْأَطْفَالُ مِنْكُمُ الْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنُوا كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
*Na watoto wanapo fikilia umri wa kubaalighi basi nawatake ruhusa, kama walivyo taka ruhusa wa kabla yao. Hivyo ndivyo anavyo kubainishieni Mwenyezi Mungu Aya zake, na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi Mwenye hikima.
*When your children reach puberty, let them ask permission [at all times] just as those [who grew up] before them asked permission. Thus does Allah clarify His signs for you, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
24:60
وَالْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيْرَ مُتَبَرِّجَاتٍ بِزِينَةٍ ۖ وَأَنْ يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَيْرٌ لَهُنَّ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Na wanawake wazee wasio taraji kuolewa, si vibaya kwao kupunguza nguo zao, bila ya kujishaua kwa mapambo. Na wakijihishimu ni bora kwao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusikia, Mwenye kujua.
*As for women advanced in years who do not expect to marry, there will be no sin upon them if they put off their cloaks, without displaying their adornment. But it is better for them to be modest, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.
24:61
لَيْسَ عَلَى الْأَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ آبَائِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ إِخْوَانِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخَوَاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَعْمَامِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّاتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخْوَالِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ خَالَاتِكُمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكْتُمْ مَفَاتِحَهُ أَوْ صَدِيقِكُمْ ۚ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا جَمِيعًا أَوْ أَشْتَاتًا ۚ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمْ بُيُوتًا فَسَلِّمُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ مُبَارَكَةً طَيِّبَةً ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
*Si vibaya kwa kipofu, wala si vibaya kwa kiguru, wala si vibaya kwa mgonjwa, wala kwenu nyinyi, mkila katika nyumba zenu, au nyumba za baba zenu, au nyumba za mama zenu, au nyumba za kaka zenu, au nyumba za dada zenu, au nyumba za ami zenu, au nyumba za shangazi zenu, au nyumba za wajomba zenu, au nyumba za dada wa mama zenu, au za mlio washikia funguo zao, au rafiki yenu. Si vibaya kwenu mkila pamoja au mbali mbali. Na mkiingia katika nyumba, toleaneni salamu, kuwa ni maamkio yanayo toka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, yenye baraka na mema. Hivyo ndivyo Mwenyezi Mungu anavyo kubainishieni Aya zake mpate kuelewa.
*There is no blame upon the blind, nor any blame upon the lame, nor any blame upon the sick, nor upon yourselves if you eat from your own houses, or your fathers’ houses, or your mothers’ houses, or your brothers’ houses, or your sisters’ houses, or the houses of your paternal uncles, or the houses of your paternal aunts, or the houses of your maternal uncles, or the houses of your maternal aunts, or those whose keys are in your possession, or those of your friends. There will be no blame on you whether you eat together or separately. So when you enter houses, greet yourselves with a salutation from Allah, blessed and good. Thus does Allah clarify His signs for you so that you may exercise your reason.
24:62
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَإِذَا كَانُوا مَعَهُ عَلَىٰ أَمْرٍ جَامِعٍ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يَسْتَأْذِنُوهُ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَأْذِنُونَكَ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ۚ فَإِذَا اسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِبَعْضِ شَأْنِهِمْ فَأْذَنْ لِمَنْ شِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمُ اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Hakika Waumini wa kweli ni walio muamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake; na wanapo kuwa pamoja naye kwa jambo la kuwakhusu wote hawaondoki mpaka wamtake ruhusa. Kwa hakika wale wanao kuomba ruhusa, hao ndio wanao muamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake. Na wakikuomba ruhusa kwa baadhi ya kazi zao, mruhusu umtakaye miongoni mwao, uwaombee msamaha kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemmu.
*Indeed the faithful are those who have faith in Allah and His Apostle, and when they are with him in a collective affair, they do not leave until they have sought his permission. Indeed those who seek your permission are those who have faith in Allah and His Apostle. So when they seek your permission for some of theirs [private] work, give permission to whomever of them you wish and plead with Allah to forgive them. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
24:63
لَا تَجْعَلُوا دُعَاءَ الرَّسُولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُعَاءِ بَعْضِكُمْ بَعْضًا ۚ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ يَتَسَلَّلُونَ مِنْكُمْ لِوَاذًا ۚ فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
*Msifanye wito wa Mtume baina yenu kama wito wa nyinyi kwa nyinyi. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anawajua miongoni mwenu wanao ondoka kwa uficho. Basi nawatahadhari wanao khalifu amri yake, usije ukawapata msiba au ikawapata adhabu chungu.
*Do not consider the Apostle’s summons amongst you to be like your summoning one another. Allah certainly knows those of you who slip away shielding one another. Those who disobey his orders should beware lest an affliction should visit them or a painful punishment should befall them.
24:64
أَلَا إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَيَوْمَ يُرْجَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
*Jueni kuwa hakika ni vya Mwenyezi Mungu vilivyomo mbinguni na ardhini. Hakika Yeye anajua mlio nayo. Na siku mtapo rudishwa kwake atawaeleza waliyo yafanya. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi wa kila kitu.
*Behold! To Allah indeed belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. He certainly knows your present state. The day they are brought back to Him He will inform them about what they have done, and Allah has knowledge of all things.
