Sura 52 - At-Tur

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
52:1
وَالطُّورِ
*Naapa kwa mlima wa T´ur,
*By the Mount [Sinai],
52:2
وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ
*Na Kitabu kilicho andikwa
*by the Book inscribed
52:3
فِي رَقٍّ مَنْشُورٍ
*Katika ngozi iliyo kunjuliwa,
*on an unrolled parchment;
52:4
وَالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ
*Na kwa Nyumba iliyo jengwa,
*by the House greatly frequented;
52:5
وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوعِ
*Na kwa dari iliyo nyanyuliwa,
*by the vault raised high,
52:6
وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ
*Na kwa bahari iliyo jazwa,
*by the surging sea:
52:7
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ
*Hakika adhabu ya Mola wako Mlezi hapana shaka itatokea.
*indeed your Lord’s punishment will surely befall.
52:8
مَا لَهُ مِنْ دَافِعٍ
*Hapana wa kuizuia.
*There is none who can avert it.
52:9
يَوْمَ تَمُورُ السَّمَاءُ مَوْرًا
*Siku zitakapo tikisika mbingu kwa mtikiso,
*On the day when the sky whirls violently,
52:10
وَتَسِيرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا
*Na milima iwe inakwenda kwa mwendo mkubwa.
*and the mountains move with an awful motion:
52:11
فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Basi ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kadhibisha,
*woe to the deniers on that day
52:12
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ
*Ambao wanacheza katika mambo ya upuuzi.
*—those who play around in vain talk,
52:13
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا
*Siku watapo sukumwa kwenye Moto kwa msukumo wa nguvu,
*the day when they will be shoved forcibly toward the fire of hell, [and told:]
52:14
هَٰذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
*(Waambiwe): Huu ndio ule Moto mlio kuwa mkiukanusha!
*‘This is the Fire which you used to deny!
52:15
أَفَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَا أَمْ أَنْتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
*Je! Huu ni uchawi, au hamwoni tu?
*Is this, then, [also] magic, or is it you who do not perceive?
52:16
اصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُوا أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Uingieni, mkistahamili au msistahamili - ni mamoja kwenu. Hakika mnalipwa kwa mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.
*Enter it, and it will be the same for you whether you are patient or impatient. You are only being requited for what you used to do.’
52:17
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَعِيمٍ
*Hakika wachamngu watakuwa katika Mabustani na neema,
*Indeed the Godwary will be amid gardens and bliss,
52:18
فَاكِهِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
*Wakifurahi kwa yale aliyo wapa Mola wao Mlezi. Na Mola wao Mlezi atawalinda na adhabu ya Motoni.
*rejoicing because of what their Lord has given them, and that their Lord has saved them from the punishment of hell.
52:19
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Kuleni na kunyweni kwa raha kabisa kwa sababu ya mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.
*[They will be told:] ‘Enjoy your food and drink, [as a reward] for what you used to do.’
52:20
مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَصْفُوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
*Watakuwa wameegemea juu ya viti vya enzi vilivyo pangwa kwa safu. Na tutawaoza mahuru-l-aini.
*They will be reclining on arrayed couches, and We will wed them to big-eyed houris.
52:21
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُمْ مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ
*Na walio amini na dhuriya zao wakawafuata kwa Imani tutawakutanisha nao dhuriya zao, na wala hatutawapunja hata kidogo katika vitendo vyao. Kila mtu lazima atapata alicho kichuma.
*The faithful and their descendants who followed them in faith—We will make their descendants join them, and We will not stint anything from [the reward of] their deeds. Every person is hostage to what he has earned.
52:22
وَأَمْدَدْنَاهُمْ بِفَاكِهَةٍ وَلَحْمٍ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
*Na tutawapa matunda, na nyama kama watavyo penda.
*We will provide them with fruits and meat, such as they desire.
52:23
يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ
*Watapeana humo bilauri zisio na vinywaji vya kuleta maneno ya upuuzi wala dhambi.
*There they will pass from hand to hand a cup wherein there will be neither any vain talk nor sinful speech.
52:24
وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌ لَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَكْنُونٌ
*Iwe wanawapitia watumishi wao kama kwamba ni lulu zilizomo katika chaza.
*They will be waited upon by their youths, as if they were guarded pearls.
52:25
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
*Wataelekeana wakiulizana.
*They will turn to one another, questioning each other.
52:26
قَالُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِي أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ
*Waseme: Tulikuwa zamani pamoja na ahali zetu tukiogopa;
*They will say, ‘Indeed, aforetime, we used to be apprehensive about our families.
52:27
فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ
*Basi Mwenyezi Mungu akatufanyia hisani na akatulinda na adhabu ya upepo wa Moto.
*But Allah showed us favour and He saved us from the punishment of the [infernal] miasma.
52:28
إِنَّا كُنَّا مِنْ قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْبَرُّ الرَّحِيمُ
*Hakika sisi zamani tulikuwa tukimwomba Yeye tu. Hakika Yeye ndiye Mwema Mwenye kurehemu.
*We used to supplicate Him aforetime. Indeed He is the All-benign, the All-merciful.’
52:29
فَذَكِّرْ فَمَا أَنْتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ
*Basi kumbusha! Kwani wewe, kwa neema ya Mola wako Mlezi, si kuhani wala mwendawazimu.
*So admonish. By your Lord’s blessing, you are not a soothsayer, nor mad.
52:30
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِهِ رَيْبَ الْمَنُونِ
*Au wanasema: Huyu ni mtunga mashairi, tunamtarajia kupatilizwa na dahari.
*Do they say, ‘[He is] a poet, for whom we await a fatal accident’?
52:31
قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا فَإِنِّي مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ
*Sema: Tarajieni, na mimi pia ni pamoja nanyi katika kutarajia.
*Say, ‘Wait! I too am waiting along with you.’
52:32
أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَامُهُمْ بِهَٰذَا ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
*Au hizo akili zao ndio zinawaamrisha haya, au wao basi ni watu majeuri tu?
*Is it their intellect which prompts them to [say] this, or are they a rebellious lot?
52:33
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُ ۚ بَلْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Au ndio wanasema: Ameitunga hii! Bali basi tu hawaamini!
*Do they say, ‘He has improvised it [himself]?’ Rather, they have no faith!
52:34
فَلْيَأْتُوا بِحَدِيثٍ مِثْلِهِ إِنْ كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ
*Basi nawalete masimulizi kama haya ikiwa wao wanasema kweli.
*Let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful.
52:35
أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُونَ
*Au wao wameumbwa pasipo kutokana na kitu chochote, au ni wao ndio waumbaji?
*Were they created from nothing? Or are they [their own] creators?
52:36
أَمْ خَلَقُوا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۚ بَلْ لَا يُوقِنُونَ
*Au wao wameziumba mbingu na ardhi? Bali hawana na yakini.
*Did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they have no certainty!
52:37
أَمْ عِنْدَهُمْ خَزَائِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ الْمُصَيْطِرُونَ
*Au wanazo khazina za Mola wako Mlezi au wao ndio wenye madaraka?
*Do they possess the treasuries of your Lord? Or do they control [them]?
52:38
أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
*Au wanazo ngazi za kusikilizia? Basi huyo msikilizaji wao na alete hoja ilio wazi!
*Do they have a ladder [leading up to heaven] whereby they eavesdrop? If so, let their eavesdropper produce a manifest authority.
52:39
أَمْ لَهُ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَكُمُ الْبَنُونَ
*Au Yeye Mwenyezi Mungu ana wasichana, na nyinyi ndio mna wavulana?
*Does He have daughters while you have sons?
52:40
أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُمْ مِنْ مَغْرَمٍ مُثْقَلُونَ
*Au wewe unawaomba ujira, na kwa hivyo ndio wanaelemewa na uzito wa gharama?
*Do you ask them for a reward, so that they are [wary of] being weighed down with debt?
52:41
أَمْ عِنْدَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
*Au wanayo ilimu ya ghaibu, nao wameandika?
*Do they have [access to] the Unseen, which they write down?
52:42
أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا ۖ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هُمُ الْمَكِيدُونَ
*Au wanataka kufanya vitimbi tu? Lakini hao walio kufuru ndio watakao tegeka.
*Do they seek to outmaneuver [Allah]? But it is the faithless who are the outmaneuvered ones!
52:43
أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
*Au wanae mungu asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu? Subhanallah! Ametaksika Mwenyezi Mungu na hao wanao washirikisha naye.
*Do they have any god other than Allah? Clear is Allah of any partners that they may ascribe [to Him]!
52:44
وَإِنْ يَرَوْا كِسْفًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ سَاقِطًا يَقُولُوا سَحَابٌ مَرْكُومٌ
*Na hata wange ona pande linatoka mbinguni linaanguka wange sema: Ni mawingu yaliyo bebana.
*Were they to see a fragment falling from the sky, they would say, ‘A cumulous cloud.’
52:45
فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي فِيهِ يُصْعَقُونَ
*Basi waache mpaka wakutane na siku yao watakapo hilikishwa.
*So leave them until they encounter the day when they will be thunderstruck,
52:46
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
*Siku ambayo hila zao hazitawafaa hata kidogo, wala wao hawatanusuriwa.
*the day when their guile will not avail them in any way, nor will they be helped.
52:47
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا عَذَابًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na hakika walio dhulumu watapata adhabu nyengine isiyo kuwa hii, lakini wengi wao hawajui.
*Indeed there is a punishment besides that for those who do wrong, but most of them do not know.
52:48
وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
*Na ingojee hukumu ya Mola wako Mlezi. Kwani wewe hakika uko mbele ya macho yetu, na mtakase kwa kumsifu Mola wako Mlezi unapo simama,
*So submit patiently to the judgement of your Lord, for indeed you fare before Our eyes. And celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise [at dawn],
52:49
وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَارَ النُّجُومِ
*Na usiku pia mtakase, na zinapo kuchwa nyota.
*and also glorify Him during the night and at the receding of the stars.
