Sura 43 - Az-Zukhruf

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
43:1
حم
*H´a Mim
*Ha, Meem.
43:2
وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
*Naapa kwa Kitabu kinacho bainisha.
*By the Manifest Book:
43:3
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
*Hakika Sisi tumeifanya Qur´ani kwa Kiarabu ili mfahamu.
*We have made it an Arabic Quran so that you may exercise your reason,
43:4
وَإِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
*Na hakika hiyo imo katika Asili ya Maandiko yalioko kwetu, ni tukufu na yenye hikima.
*and it is sublime and wise with Us in the Mother Book.
43:5
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُسْرِفِينَ
*Je! Tuache kukukumbusheni kabisa kwa kuwa nyinyi ni watu mlio pita mipaka kwa ukafiri?
*Shall We keep back the Reminder from you and disregard you because you are an unrestrained lot?
43:6
وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ فِي الْأَوَّلِينَ
*Na Manabii wangapi tuliwatuma kwa watu wa zamani!
*How many a prophet We have sent to the former peoples!
43:7
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
*Na hawajii Nabii yeyote ila walikuwa wakimkejeli.
*There did not come to them any prophet but that they used to deride him.
43:8
فَأَهْلَكْنَا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
*Na tuliwaangamiza walio kuwa na nguvu kushinda wao. Na mfano wa watu wa zamani umekwisha pita.
*So We destroyed those who were stronger than these, and the example of the former peoples has already come to pass.
43:9
وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Na ukiwauliza: Nani aliye ziumba mbingu na ardhi? Bila ya shaka watasema: Kaziumba Mwenye nguvu, Mjuzi,
*If you ask them, ‘Who created the heavens and the earth?’ they will surely say, ‘The All-mighty, the All-knowing created them.’
43:10
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
*Ambaye amekufanyieni ardhi kama tandiko, na akakufanyieni ndani yake njia mpate kuongoka.
*He, who made the earth a cradle for you, and made for you in it ways so that you may be guided [to your destinations],
43:11
وَالَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَنْشَرْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
*Na ambaye ndiye aliye teremsha kutoka mbinguni maji kwa kiasi, na kwa hayo tukaifufua nchi iliyo kufa. Na namna hivi ndivyo mtakavyo tolewa.
*and who sent down water from the sky in a measured manner, and We revived with it a dead country. Likewise, you shall be raised [from the dead].
43:12
وَالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ
*Na ambaye ndiye aliye umba katika kila kitu jike na dume, na akakufanyieni marikebu na wanyama mnao wapanda.
*He created all the kinds and made for you the ships and the cattle such which you ride,
43:13
لِتَسْتَوُوا عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ
*Ili mkae vizuri migongoni mwao, kisha mkumbuke neema za Mola wenu Mlezi mnapokaa sawa sawa juu yao na mseme: Ametakasika aliye mfanya huyu atutumikie, na tusingeli weza kufanya haya wenyewe.
*that you may sit on their backs, then remember the blessing of your Lord when you are settled on them, and say, ‘Immaculate is He who has disposed this for us, and we [by ourselves] were no match for it.
43:14
وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
*Na hakika sisi tutarudi kwa Mola wetu Mlezi.
*Indeed we shall return to our Lord.’
43:15
وَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ جُزْءًا ۚ إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَكَفُورٌ مُبِينٌ
*Na wanamfanyia katika waja wake fungu. Kwa hakika mwanaadamu ni mtovu wa fadhila aliye dhaahiri.
*They ascribe to Him offspring from among His servants! Man is indeed a manifest ingrate.
43:16
أَمِ اتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَاكُمْ بِالْبَنِينَ
*Au amejichukulia watoto wanawake katika vile alivyo viumba, na akakuteulieni nyinyi watoto wanaume?
*Did He adopt daughters from what He creates while He preferred you with sons?
43:17
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
*Na anapo bashiriwa mmoja wao kwa yale aliyo mpigia mfano Mwenyezi Mungu, uso wake husawijika na hujaa hasira.
*When one of them is brought the news of what he ascribes to the All-beneficent, his face becomes darkened and he chokes with suppressed rage, [and says]
43:18
أَوَمَنْ يُنَشَّأُ فِي الْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي الْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ
*Ati aliye lelewa katika mapambo, na katika mabishano hawezi kusema kwa bayana...?
*‘What! One who is brought up amid ornaments and is inconspicuous in contests?’
43:19
وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنَاثًا ۚ أَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْ ۚ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْأَلُونَ
*Na wakawafanya Malaika, ambao ni waja wa Mwingi wa Rehema, ni wanawake! Kwani wameshuhudia kuumbwa kwao? Ushahidi wao utaandikwa na wao watahojiwa!
*They have made the angels—who are servants of the All-beneficent—females. Were they witness to their creation? Their testimony will be written down and they shall be questioned.
43:20
وَقَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَاهُمْ ۗ مَا لَهُمْ بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
*Nao husema: Angeli penda Mwingi wa Rehema tusingeli waabudu sisi. Hawana ujuzi wowote wa hayo! Hawana ila kusema uwongo tu!
*They say, ‘Had the All-beneficent wished, we would not have worshipped them.’ They do not have any knowledge of that, and they do nothing but surmise.
43:21
أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا مِنْ قَبْلِهِ فَهُمْ بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ
*Kwani tuliwapa Kitabu kabla ya hichi, na ikawa wao wanakishikilia hicho?
*Did We give them a Book before this, so that they are holding fast to it?
43:22
بَلْ قَالُوا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَىٰ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
*Bali wanasema: Hakika sisi tuliwakuta baba zetu wanashika dini makhsusi, basi na sisi tunaongoza nyayo zao.
*No, they said, ‘We found our fathers following a creed, and we are indeed guided in their footsteps.’
43:23
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَىٰ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ مُقْتَدُونَ
*Na kadhaalika hatukumtuma mwonyaji kwenye mji wowote ila watu wake walio deka kwa starehe walisema: Hakika sisi tuliwakuta baba zetu wanashika dini makhsusi, na sisi tunafuata nyayo zao.
*So it has been that We did not send any warner to a town before you, without its affluent ones saying, ‘We found our fathers following a creed and we are indeed following in their footsteps.’
43:24
قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِأَهْدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
*Akasema (Mwonyaji): Hata nikikuleteeni yenye uwongofu bora kuliko mlio wakuta nao baba zenu? Wakasema: Sisi tunayakataa tu hayo mliyo tumwa.
*He would say, ‘What! Even if I bring you a better guidance than what you found your fathers following?!’ They would say, ‘We indeed disbelieve in what you are sent with.’
43:25
فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Basi tukawalipizia. Angalia ulikuwaje mwisho wa walio kadhibisha!
*Thereupon We took vengeance on them; so observe how was the fate of the deniers.
43:26
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ إِنَّنِي بَرَاءٌ مِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ
*Na pale Ibrahim alipo mwambia baba yake na kaumu yake: Hakika mimi ninajitenga mbali na hayo mnayo yaabudu,
*When Abraham said to his father and his people, ‘I repudiate what you worship,
43:27
إِلَّا الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي فَإِنَّهُ سَيَهْدِينِ
*Isipo kuwa yule aliye niumba, kwani Yeye ataniongoa.
*excepting Him who originated me; indeed He will guide me.’
43:28
وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةً بَاقِيَةً فِي عَقِبِهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
*Na akalifanya hili liwe neno lenye kubaki katika vizazi vyake ili warejee.
*He made it a lasting word among his posterity so that they may come back [to the right path].
43:29
بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ هَٰؤُلَاءِ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ وَرَسُولٌ مُبِينٌ
*Bali tuliwastarehesha hawa na baba zao mpaka ikawafikia Haki na Mtume aliye bainisha.
*Indeed, I provided for these and their fathers until the truth and a manifest apostle came to them.
43:30
وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ قَالُوا هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
*Na ilipo wafikia Haki wakasema: Huu ni uchawi, na sisi hakika tunaukataa.
*But when the truth came to them, they said, ‘This is magic, and we indeed disbelieve in it.’
43:31
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ
*Na walisema: Kwa nini Qur´ani hii haikuteremshwa kwa mtu mkubwa katika miji miwili hii?
*And they said, ‘Why was not this Quran sent down to some great man from the two cities?’
43:32
أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَتَ رَبِّكَ ۚ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ مَعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا ۗ وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
*Kwani wao ndio wanao gawa rehema za Mola wako Mlezi? Sisi tumewagawanyia baina yao maisha yao katika uhai wa duniani, na tukawanyanyua baadhi yao juu ya wengine kwa daraja nyingi; kwa hivyo baadhi yao wanawafanya wenginewe wawatumikie. Na rehema za Mwenyezi Mungu ni bora kuliko hayo wanayo yakusanya.
*Is it they who dispense the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have dispensed among them their livelihood in the present life, and raised some of them above others in rank, so that some may take others into service, and your Lord’s mercy is better than what they amass.
43:33
وَلَوْلَا أَنْ يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَجَعَلْنَا لِمَنْ يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ
*Na lau isinge kuwa watu watakuwa kundi moja tungeli wajaalia wanao mkufuru Rahmani wana nyumba zao zina dari ya fedha, na ngazi zao pia wanazo pandia,
*Were it not [for the danger] that mankind would be one community, We would have made for those who defy the All-beneficent, silver roofs for their houses and [silver] stairways by which they ascend,
43:34
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَابًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِئُونَ
*Na milango ya nyumba zao na vitanda wanavyo egemea juu yake,
*and [silver] doors for their houses and [silver] couches on which they recline,
43:35
وَزُخْرُفًا ۚ وَإِنْ كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَالْآخِرَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
*Na mapambo. Lakini hayo si chochote ila ni starehe ya maisha ya dunia tu, na Akhera iliyoko kwa Mola wako Mlezi ni ya wenye kumchamngu.
*and ornaments of gold; yet all that would be nothing but the wares of the life of this world, and the Hereafter is for the Godwary near your Lord.
43:36
وَمَنْ يَعْشُ عَنْ ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَانًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ
*Anaye yafanyia upofu maneno ya Rahmani tunamwekea Shet´ani kuwa ndiye rafiki yake.
*We assign a devil to be the companion of him who turns a blind eye to the remembrance of the All-beneficent.
43:37
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
*Na hakika wao wanawazuilia Njia na wenyewe wanadhani kuwa wameongoka.
*Indeed they bar them from the way [of Allah], while they suppose that they are [rightly] guided.
43:38
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَنَا قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرِينُ
*Hata atakapo tujia atasema: Laiti ungeli kuwako baina yangu na wewe kama umbali baina ya mashariki na magharibi. Rafiki mwovu mno wewe!
*When he comes to Us, he will say, ‘I wish there had been between me and you the distance between the east and the west! What an evil companion [you are]!’
43:39
وَلَنْ يَنْفَعَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ إِذْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
*Na kwa kuwa mlidhulumu, haitakufaeni kitu leo kwamba nyinyi mnashirikiana katika adhabu.
*‘Today that will be of no avail to you. As you did wrong, so will you share in the punishment.’
43:40
أَفَأَنْتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
*Je! Unaweza kuwasikilizisha viziwi, au unaweza kuwaongoa vipofu na waliomo katika upotofu ulio wazi?
*Can you, then, make the deaf hear or guide the blind and those who are in manifest error?
43:41
فَإِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُمْ مُنْتَقِمُونَ
*Na hata tukikuondoa, Sisi tutalipiza kisasi chetu kwao.
*We will indeed take vengeance on them, whether We take you away
43:42
أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ الَّذِي وَعَدْنَاهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِمْ مُقْتَدِرُونَ
*Au tutakuonyesha tulio waahidi. Nasi bila ya shaka tuna uweza juu yao.
*or show you what We have promised them, for indeed We hold them in Our power.
43:43
فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
*Basi wewe yashike yaliyo funuliwa kwako. Hakika wewe uko kwenye Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.
43:44
وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ ۖ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ
*Na hakika haya ni ukumbusho kwako na kwa kaumu yako. Na mtakuja ulizwa.
*Indeed it is a reminder for you and your people, and soon you will be questioned.
43:45
وَاسْأَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا أَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُونِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ آلِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ
*Na waulize Mitume wetu tulio watuma kabla yako: Je! Tulifanya miungu mingine iabudiwe badala ya Rah´mani?
*Ask those of Our apostles We have sent before you: Did We set up any gods to be worshipped besides the All-beneficent?
43:46
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Na bila ya shaka tulimtuma Musa kwa Ishara zetu ende kwa Firauni na waheshimiwa wake, na akasema: Hakika mimi ni Mtume wa Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote!
*Certainly We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his elite. He said, ‘I am indeed an apostle of the Lord of all the worlds.’
43:47
فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ بِآيَاتِنَا إِذَا هُمْ مِنْهَا يَضْحَكُونَ
*Lakini alipo wajia na Ishara zetu wakaingia kuzicheka.
*But when he brought them Our signs, they indeed laughed at them.
43:48
وَمَا نُرِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا ۖ وَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
*Na hatukuwaonyesha Ishara yoyote ila hiyo ilikuwa kubwa zaidi kuliko nyenginewe. Na tukawakamata kwa adhabu ili warejee.
*We did not show them a sign but it was greater than the other, and We visited on them punishment so that they might come back.
43:49
وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَ السَّاحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنْدَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ
*Na wakasema: Ewe mchawi! Tuombee kwa Mola wako Mlezi kwa ile ahadi aliyo kuahidi; hakika sisi tutakuwa wenye kuongoka.
*They would say, ‘O magician! Invoke your Lord for us by the covenant He has made with you [to remove this scourge]. We will indeed be guided [when it is removed].’
43:50
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنْكُثُونَ
*Basi tulipo waondolea adhabu hiyo, mara wakaingia kuvunja ahadi.
*But when We lifted the punishment from them, behold, they would break their pledge.
43:51
وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَٰذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِي ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
*Na Firauni alitangaza kwa watu wake, akisema: Enyi watu wangu! Kwani mimi sinao huu ufalme wa Misri, na hii mito inapita chini yangu? Je! Hamwoni?
*And Pharaoh proclaimed to his people, saying, ‘O my people! Do not the kingdom of Egypt and these rivers that run at my feet belong to me? Do you not perceive?
43:52
أَمْ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
*Au mimi si bora kuliko huyu aliye mnyonge, wala hawezi kusema waziwazi?
*Am I not better than this wretch who cannot even speak clearly?
43:53
فَلَوْلَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ
*Basi mbona hakuvikwa vikuku vya dhahabu, au hawakuja Malaika pamoja naye wakamwandama?
*Why no bracelets of gold have been thrown to him, nor any angels accompany him as escorts?’
43:54
فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
*Basi aliwachezea watu wake, na wakamt´ii. Kwa hakika hao walikuwa watu wapotovu.
*Thus did he mislead his people and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were a transgressing lot.
43:55
فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Walipo tukasirisha tuliwapatiliza tukawazamisha wote!
*So when they roused Our wrath, We took vengeance on them and drowned them all.
43:56
فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِلْآخِرِينَ
*Kisha tukawafanya kuwa watangulizi na mfano kwa wa baadaye.
*Thus We made them the vanguard and an example for posterity.
43:57
وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ
*Na alipo pigiwa mfano Mwana wa Mariamu, watu wako waliupiga ukelele.
*When the Son of Mary was cited as an example, behold, your people raise an outcry.
43:58
وَقَالُوا أَآلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ
*Wakasema: Miungu yetu kwani si bora kuliko huyu? Hawakukupigia mfano huo ila kwa ubishi tu. Bali hao ni watu wagomvi!
*They say, ‘Are our gods better or he?’ They cite him to you only for the sake of contention. Indeed, they are a contentious lot.
43:59
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ مَثَلًا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
*Hakuwa yeye (Isa) ila ni Mtumwa tuliye mneemesha na tukamfanya ni mfano kwa Wana wa Israili.
*He was just a servant whom We had blessed and made an exemplar for the Children of Israel.
43:60
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ مَلَائِكَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ
*Na tungeli penda tungeli wafanyia miongoni mwenu Malaika katika ardhi wakifuatana.
*Had We wished We would have set angels in your stead to be [your] successors on the earth.
43:61
وَإِنَّهُ لَعِلْمٌ لِلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَاتَّبِعُونِ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
*Na kwa hakika yeye ni alama ya Saa ya Kiyama. Basi usiitilie shaka, na nifuateni. Hii ndiyo Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*[Say,] ‘Indeed he is a portent of the Hour; so do not doubt it and follow me. This is a straight path.
43:62
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ
*Wala asikuzuilieni Shet´ani. Hakika yeye ni adui yenu wa dhaahiri.
*Do not let Satan bar you [from the way of Allah]. Indeed he is your manifest enemy.’
43:63
وَلَمَّا جَاءَ عِيسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي تَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
*Na alipo kuja Isa na dalili zilizo wazi, alisema: Nimekujieni na hikima, na ili nikuelezeni baadhi ya yale mliyo khitalifiana. Basi mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu, na mnit´ii mimi.
*When Jesus brought those manifest proofs, he said, ‘I have certainly brought you wisdom, and [I have come] to make clear to you some of the things that you differ about. So be wary of Allah and obey me.
43:64
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
*Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mola wangu Mlezi, na ni Mola wenu Mlezi. Basi Muabuduni Yeye tu. Hii ndiyo Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord; so worship Him. This is a straight path.’
43:65
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ
*Lakini makundi kwa makundi yao yalikhitalifiana wao kwa wao. Ole wao walio dhulumu kwa adhabu ya siku chungu.
*But the factions differed among themselves. So woe to the wrongdoers for the punishment of a painful day.
43:66
هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
*Je! Nini wanangojea ila Saa iwajie kwa ghafla na wala wao hawatambui?
*Do they not consider that the Hour may overtake them suddenly while they are unaware?
43:67
الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ
*Siku hiyo marafiki watakuwa ni maadui, wao kwa wao, isipo kuwa wachamngu.
*On that day, friends will be one another’s enemies, except for the Godwary.
43:68
يَا عِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَا أَنْتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
*Enyi waja wangu! Hamtakuwa na khofu siku hiyo, wala hamtahuzunika.
*[They will be told,] ‘O My servants! Today you will have no fear, nor will you grieve
43:69
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ
*Ambao waliziamini Ishara zangu na walikuwa Waislamu.
*—those who believed in Our signs and had been Muslims.
43:70
ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنْتُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ
*Ingieni Peponi, nyinyi na wake zenu; mtafurahishwa humo.
*Enter paradise, you and your spouses, rejoicing.’
43:71
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِصِحَافٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ ۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنْفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ ۖ وَأَنْتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
*Watakuwa wanapitishiwa sahani za dhahabu na vikombe; na vitakuwamo ambavyo nafsi zinavipenda na macho yanavifurahia, na nyinyi mtakaa humo milele.
*They will be served around with golden dishes and goblets, and therein will be whatever the souls desire and eyes delight in. ‘You will remain in it [forever].
43:72
وَتِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Na hiyo ni Pepo mliyo rithishwa kwa hayo mliyo kuwa mkiyafanya.
*That is the paradise you have been given to inherit for what you used to do.
43:73
لَكُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
*Mnayo humo matunda mengi mtakayo yala.
*There are abundant fruits for you in it, from which you will eat.’
43:74
إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ
*Kwa hakika wakosefu watakaa katika adhabu ya Jahannamu.
*Indeed the guilty will remain [forever] in the punishment of hell.
43:75
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ
*Hawatapumzishwa nayo na humo watakata tamaa.
*It will not be lightened for them, and they will be despondent in it.
43:76
وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا هُمُ الظَّالِمِينَ
*Wala Sisi hatukuwadhulumu, bali wao ndio walio kuwa madhaalimu.
*We did not wrong them, but they themselves were wrongdoers.
43:77
وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ مَاكِثُونَ
*Nao watapiga kelele waseme: Ewe Malik! Na atufishe Mola wako Mlezi! Naye aseme: Hakika nyinyi mtakaa humo humo!
*They will call out, ‘O Malik! Let your Lord finish us off!’ He will say, ‘Indeed you will stay on.’
43:78
لَقَدْ جِئْنَاكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ
*Kwa yakini tulikuleteeni Haki, lakini wengi katika nyinyi mlikuwa mnaichukia Haki.
*‘We certainly brought you the truth, but most of you were averse to the truth.’
43:79
أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ
*Au waliweza kupitisha amri yao? Bali ni Sisi ndio tunao pitisha.
*Have they settled on some [devious] plan? Indeed, We too are settling [on Our plans].
43:80
أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُمْ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
*Au wanadhani kwamba hatusikii siri zao na minong´ono yao? Wapi! Na wajumbe wetu wapo karibu nao, wanayaandika.
*Do they suppose that We do not hear their secret thoughts and their secret talks? Yes indeed [We do]! And with them are Our messengers, writing down [everything].
43:81
قُلْ إِنْ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ
*Sema: Ingeli kuwa Rahmani ana mwana, basi mimi ningeli kuwa wa kwanza kumuabudu.
*Say, ‘If the All-beneficent had offspring, I would have been the first to worship [him].’
43:82
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
*Ametakasika Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi, Mola Mlezi wa A´rshi, na hayo wanayo msifia.
*Clear is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, of whatever they allege [concerning Him]!
43:83
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
*Basi waache wapige porojo wakicheza mpaka wakutwe na hiyo siku yao waliyo ahidiwa.
*So leave them to gossip and play until they encounter the day they are promised.
43:84
وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِلَٰهٌ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَٰهٌ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Na Yeye ndiye Mungu mbinguni, na ndiye Mungu katika ardhi. Naye ndiye Mwenye hikima, Mwenye ujuzi.
*It is He who is God in the sky, and God on the earth, and He is the All-Wise, the All-Knowing.
43:85
وَتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
*Na ametukuka Mwenye ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi na viliomo ndani yake. Na uko kwake ujuzi wa Saa ya Kiyama, na kwake Yeye mtarudishwa.
*Blessed is He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will be brought back.
43:86
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Wala hao mnao waomba badala yake Yeye hawana uweza wa kumwombea mtu, isipo kuwa anaye shuhudia kwa haki, na wao wanajua.
*Those whom they invoke besides Him have no power of intercession, except those who are witness to the truth and who know [for whom to intercede].
43:87
وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
*Na ukiwauliza ni nani aliye waumba? Bila ya shaka watasema: Mwenyezi Mungu! Basi ni wapi wanako geuziwa?
*If you ask them, ‘Who created them?’ they will surely say, ‘Allah.’ Then where do they stray?
43:88
وَقِيلِهِ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Na usemi wake (Mtume) ni: Ewe Mola wangu Mlezi! Hakika hawa ni watu wasio amini.
*And his plaint: ‘My Lord! Indeed these are a people who will not have faith!’
43:89
فَاصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَامٌ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Basi wasamehe, na uwambie maneno ya salama. Watakuja jua.
*So disregard them, and say, ‘Peace!’ Soon they will know.
