Sura 41 - Fussilat

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
41:1
حم
*H´a Mim
*Ha, Meem.
41:2
تَنْزِيلٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
*Uteremsho huu umetoka kwa Mwingi wa rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
*A [gradually] sent down [revelation] from the All-beneficent, the All-merciful,
41:3
كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Hichi ni Kitabu kilicho pambanuliwa Aya zake, cha kusomwa kwa Kiarabu kwa watu wanao jua.
*[this is] a Book whose signs have been elaborated for a people who have knowledge, an Arabic Quran,
41:4
بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا فَأَعْرَضَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ
*Kitoacho khabari njema, na chenye kuonya. Lakini wengi katika wao wamepuuza; kwa hivyo hawasikii.
*a bearer of good news and a warner. But most of them turn away [from it], [and] so they do not listen.
41:5
وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِنْ بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ
*Na wakasema: Nyoyo zetu zimo katika vifuniko kwa hayo unayo tuitia, na masikio yetu yana uziwi, na baina yetu na wewe lipo pazia. Basi wewe tenda, nasi tunatenda.
*They say, ‘Our hearts are in veils [which shut them off] from what you invite us to, and there is a deafness in our ears, and there is a curtain between us and you. So act [as your faith requires]; we too are acting [according to our own].’
41:6
قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا إِلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Sema: Hakika mimi ni mtu kama nyinyi; inafunuliwa kwangu ya kwamba Mungu wenu ni Mungu Mmoja tu. Basi nyookeni sawa kumwendea Yeye, na mumtake msamaha, na ole wao wanao mshirikisha,
*Say, ‘I am just a human like you. It has been revealed to me that your God is the One God. So worship Him single-mindedly and plead to Him for forgiveness.’ And woe to the polytheists
41:7
الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ
*Ambao hawatoi Zaka na wanaikataa Akhera.
*—those who do not pay the zakat and disbelieve in the Hereafter.
41:8
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
*Hakika wanao amini na wakatenda mema watakuwa na ujira usio na ukomo.
*As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, there will be an everlasting reward for them.
41:9
قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُ أَنْدَادًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Sema: Hivyo nyinyi mnamkataa aliye umba ardhi katika siku mbili, na mnamfanyia washirika? Huyu ndiye Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
*Say, ‘Do you really disbelieve in Him who created the earth in two days, and ascribe partners to Him? That is the Lord of all the worlds!’
41:10
وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا وَبَارَكَ فِيهَا وَقَدَّرَ فِيهَا أَقْوَاتَهَا فِي أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍ سَوَاءً لِلسَّائِلِينَ
*Na akaweka humo milima juu yake, na akabarikia humo na akakadiria humo chakula chake katika siku nne. Haya ni sawa kabisa kwa wanao uliza.
*He set in it firm mountains, [rising] above it, blessed it, and ordained in it, in four days, [various] means of sustenance, equally for all seekers.
41:11
ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ ائْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَ
*Kisha akazielekea mbingu, na zilikuwa moshi, akaziambia hizo na ardhi: Njooni, kwa khiari au kwa nguvu! Vyote viwili vikasema: Tumekuja nasi ni wat´iifu.
*Then He turned to the heaven, and it was smoke, and He said to it and to the earth, ‘Come, willingly or unwillingly!’ They said, ‘We come obediently.’
41:12
فَقَضَاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَىٰ فِي كُلِّ سَمَاءٍ أَمْرَهَا ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَحِفْظًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ
*Basi akazifanya mbingu saba kwa siku mbili, na akazipangia kila mbingu mambo yake. Na tukaipamba mbingu ya chini kwa mataa na kwa ulinzi. Hichi ndicho kipimo cha Mwenyezi Mungu Mwenye Kujua.
*Then He set them up as seven heavens in two days, and revealed [to the angels] in each heaven its ordinance. We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and guarded them. That is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing.
41:13
فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ أَنْذَرْتُكُمْ صَاعِقَةً مِثْلَ صَاعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ
*Basi wakipuuza wewe sema: Nakuhadharisheni adhabu mfano wa adhabu ya A´di na Thamudi,
*But if they turn away, say, ‘I warn you of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt of ‘Ad and Thamud.’
41:14
إِذْ جَاءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنْزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
*Walipo wajia Mitume mbele yao na nyuma yao wakawaambia: Msimuabudu ila Mwenyezi Mungu! Wakasema: Angeli taka Mola wetu Mlezi bila ya shaka angeli wateremsha Malaika. Basi sisi hakika tunayakataa hayo mliyo tumwa.
*When the apostles came to them, before them and in their own time, saying, ‘Worship no one except Allah!’ They said, ‘Had our Lord wished, He would have sent down angels [to us]. We indeed disbelieve in what you have been sent with.’
41:15
فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً ۖ أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۖ وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ
*Ama kina A´di walijivuna katika nchi bila ya haki, na wakasema: Nani aliye kuwa na nguvu kushinda sisi? Kwani wao hawakuona kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu aliye waumba ni Mwenye nguvu kushinda wao? Na wao wakawa wanazikataa Ishara zetu!
*As for [the people of] ‘Ad, they acted arrogantly in the earth unduly, and they said, ‘Who is more powerful than us?’ Did they not see that Allah, who created them, is more powerful than them? They used to impugn Our signs;
41:16
فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَحِسَاتٍ لِنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَىٰ ۖ وَهُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ
*Basi tuliwapelekea upepo wa kimbunga katika siku za ukorofi, ili tuwaonjeshe adhabu ya kuwahizi katika uhai wa duniani, na bila ya shaka adhabu ya Akhera ina hizaya zaidi, na wala wao hawatanusuriwa.
*so We unleashed upon them an icy gale during ill-fated days, in order that We might make them taste a humiliating punishment in the life of the world. Yet the punishment of the Hereafter will be surely more disgraceful, and they will not be helped.
41:17
وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
*Na ama Thamudi tuliwaongoza, lakini walipenda upofu kuliko uwongofu. Basi uliwachukua moto wa adhabu ya kuwafedhehi kwa sababu ya yale waliyo kuwa wakiyachuma.
*As for [the people of] Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness to guidance. So the bolt of a humiliating punishment seized them because of what they used to earn.
41:18
وَنَجَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ
*Na tukawaokoa walio amini na wakawa wanamcha-mngu.
*And We delivered those who had faith and were Godwary.
41:19
وَيَوْمَ يُحْشَرُ أَعْدَاءُ اللَّهِ إِلَى النَّارِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ
*Na siku watakapo kusanywa maadui wa Mwenyezi Mungu kwenye Moto, nao wakikgawanywa kwa makundi.
*The day the enemies of Allah are marched out toward the Fire, while they are in check,
41:20
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا مَا جَاءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَأَبْصَارُهُمْ وَجُلُودُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Hata watakapo ufikia Moto yatawashuhudia masikio yao, na macho yao na ngozi zao kwa waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*when they come to it, their hearing, their eyes and their skins will bear witness against them concerning what they used to do.
41:21
وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدْتُمْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ قَالُوا أَنْطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنْطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
*Na wao wataziambia ngozi zao: Kwa nini mmetushuhudilia? Nazo zitasema: Ametutamkisha Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye ametamkisha kila kitu! Na Yeye ndiye aliye kuumbeni mara ya kwanza, na kwake Yeye tu mtarejeshwa.
*They will say to their skins, ‘Why did you bear witness against us?’ They will say, ‘We were given speech by Allah, who gave speech to all things. He created you the first time, and you are being brought back to Him.
41:22
وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ ظَنَنْتُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًا مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
*Na hamkuwa wenye kujificha hata masikio yenu, na macho yenu, na ngozi zenu, zisikushuhudilieni. Lakini mlidhani kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu hayajui mengi katika mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.
*You did not use to conceal yourselves [while perpetrating sinful acts] lest your hearing, your eyes, or your skins should bear witness against you, but you thought that Allah did not know most of what you did.
41:23
وَذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنْتُمْ بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
*Basi hiyo dhana yenu mliyo kuwa mkimdhania Mola wenu Mlezi. Imekuangamizeni; na mmekuwa miongoni mwa walio khasiri.
*That misjudgement, which you entertained about your Lord ruined you. So you became losers.’
41:24
فَإِنْ يَصْبِرُوا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَمَا هُمْ مِنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَ
*Basi wakisubiri Moto ndio maskani yao. Na wakiomba radhi hawakubaliwi.
*Should they be patient, the Fire is their abode; and should they seek to propitiate [Allah], they will not be redeemed.
41:25
وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ
*Na tukawawekea marafiki, na wakawapambia yaliyo mbele yao na nyuma yao. Basi ikawathibitikia kauli wawe pamoja na mataifa yaliyo pita kabla yao, miongoni mwa majini na watu. Hakika hao wamekuwa ni wenye kukhasirika.
*We have assigned them companions who make their present [conduct] and future [state] seem decorous to them, and the word became due against them along with the nations of jinn and humans that passed away before them. They were indeed losers.
41:26
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَسْمَعُوا لِهَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَالْغَوْا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَ
*Na walio kufuru walisema: Msiisikilize Qur´ani hii, na timueni zogo, huenda mkashinda.
*The faithless say, ‘Do not listen to this Quran and hoot it down so that you may prevail [over the Apostle].’
41:27
فَلَنُذِيقَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَسْوَأَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Basi hapana shaka tutawaonjesha hao walio kufuru adhabu kali, na hapana shaka tutawalipa malipo mabaya ya yale waliyo kuwa wakiyafanya.
*We will surely make the faithless taste a severe punishment, and We will surely requite them by the worst of what they used to do.
41:28
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ النَّارُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا دَارُ الْخُلْدِ ۖ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ
*Hayo ndiyo malipo ya Maadui wa Mwenyezi Mungu - Moto! Humo watakuwa na maskani ya kudumu, ndiyo malipo yao kwa sababu walikuwa wakizikataa Ishara zetu.
*That is the requital of the enemies of Allah—the Fire! In it, they will have an everlasting abode, as a requital for their impugning Our signs.
41:29
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّنَا أَرِنَا اللَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ الْأَسْفَلِينَ
*Na walio kufuru watasema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Tuonyeshe walio tupoteza miongoni mwa majini na watu ili tuwaweke chini ya miguu yetu, wapate kuwa miongoni wa walio chini kabisa.
*The faithless will say, ‘Our Lord! Show us those who led us astray from among jinn and humans so that we may trample them under our feet, so that they may be among the lowermost!’
41:30
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
*Hakika walio sema: Mola wetu Mlezi ni Mwenyezi Mungu! Kisha wakanyooka sawa, hao huwateremkia Malaika wakawaambia: Msiogope, wala msihuzunike; nanyi furahini kwa Pepo mliyo kuwa mkiahidiwa.
*Indeed those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah!’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend upon them, [saying,] ‘Do not fear, nor be grieved! Receive the good news of the paradise, which you have been promised.
41:31
نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ
*Sisi ni vipenzi vyenu katika maisha ya dunia na katika Akhera, na humo mtapata kinacho tamaniwa na nafsi zenu, na humo mtapata mtakavyo vitaka.
*We are your friends in the life of this world and in the Hereafter, and you will have in it whatever your souls desire, and you will have in it whatever you ask for,
41:32
نُزُلًا مِنْ غَفُورٍ رَحِيمٍ
*Ni takrima itokayo kwa Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*as a hospitality from One all-forgiving, all-merciful.’
41:33
وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
*Na ni nani mbora wa kusema kuliko aitaye kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na akatenda mema, na akasema: Hakika mimi ni katika Waislamu?
*Who has a better call than him who summons to Allah and acts righteously and says, ‘Indeed I am one of the Muslims’?
41:34
وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ۚ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ
*Mema na maovu hayalingani. Pinga uovu kwa lilio jema zaidi. Hapo yule ambaye baina yako naye pana uadui atakuwa kama rafiki jamaa wa kukuonea uchungu.
*Good and evil [conduct] are not equal. Repel [evil] with what is best. [If you do so,] he between whom and you was enmity, will then be as though he were a sympathetic friend.
41:35
وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
*Lakini hawapewi wema huu ila wanao subiri, wala hawapewi ila wenye bahati kubwa.
*But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except the greatly endowed.
41:36
وَإِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Na Shet´ani akikuchochea kwa uchochezi wewe jikinge kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kusikia, Mwenye kujua.
*Should an incitement from Satan prompt you [to ill feeling], seek the protection of Allah. Indeed, He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.
41:37
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ ۚ لَا تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُنَّ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
*Na katika Ishara zake ni usiku na mchana, na jua na mwezi. Basi msilisujudie jua wala mwezi, bali msujudieni Mwenyezi Mungu aliye viumba, ikiwa nyinyi mnamuabudu Yeye tu.
*Among His signs are night and day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun, nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah who created them, if it is Him that you worship.
41:38
فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَ ۩  ***Wajib Sajda***
*Na ikiwa watajivuna, basi hao walioko kwa Mola wako Mlezi wanamtakasa Yeye usiku na mchana, na wao hawachoki.
*But if they disdain [the worship of Allah], those who are near your Lord glorify Him night and day, and they are not wearied.
41:39
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Na katika Ishara zake ni kwamba unaiona ardhi nyonge, lakini tunapo iteremshia maji mara unaiona inataharaki na kuumuka. Bila ya shaka aliye ihuisha ardhi ndiye atakaye huisha wafu. Hakika Yeye ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
*Among His signs, is that you see the earth desolate; but when We send down water upon it, it stirs and swells. Indeed, He who revives it will also revive the dead. Indeed, He has power over all things.
41:40
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ عَلَيْنَا ۗ أَفَمَنْ يُلْقَىٰ فِي النَّارِ خَيْرٌ أَمْ مَنْ يَأْتِي آمِنًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
*Hakika wale wanao upotoa ukweli uliomo katika Ishara zetu hawatufichikii Sisi. Je! Atakaye tupwa Motoni ni bora au atakaye kuja kwa amani Siku ya Kiyama? Tendeni mpendavyo, kwa hakika Yeye anayaona mnayo yatenda.
*Those who abuse Our signs are not hidden from Us. Is someone who is cast in the Fire better off, or someone who arrives safely on the Day of Resurrection? Act as you wish; indeed He watches what you do.
41:41
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالذِّكْرِ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَكِتَابٌ عَزِيزٌ
*Kwa hakika wanayo yakataa mawaidha haya yanapo wajia (wataangamia), na haya bila ya shaka ni Kitabu chenye nguvu na utukufu.
*Those who reject the Reminder when it comes to them... Indeed, it is an august Book:
41:42
لَا يَأْتِيهِ الْبَاطِلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ ۖ تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ
*Hautakifikia upotovu mbele yake wala nyuma yake. Kimeteremshwa na Mwenye hikima, Msifiwa.
*falsehood cannot approach it, at present or in future, a [revelation gradually] sent down from One all-wise, all-laudable.
41:43
مَا يُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ قِيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
*Huambiwi ila yale yale waliyo ambiwa Mitume wa kabla yako. Hakika Mola wako Mlezi bila ya shaka ni Mwenye maghfira, na ni Mwenye adhabu chungu.
*Nothing is said to you except what has already been said to the apostles before you. Indeed your Lord is One who forgives and also metes out a painful retribution.
41:44
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا أَعْجَمِيًّا لَقَالُوا لَوْلَا فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ ۖ أَأَعْجَمِيٌّ وَعَرَبِيٌّ ۗ قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَمًى ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ يُنَادَوْنَ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ
*Na lau tungeli ifanya Qur´ani kwa lugha ya kigeni wangeli sema: Kwanini Aya zake haziku pambanuliwa? Yawaje lugha ya kigeni na Mtume Mwaarabu? Sema: Hii Qur´ani ni uwongofu na poza kwa wenye kuamini. Na wasio amini umo uziwi katika masikio yao, nayo kwao imezibwa hawaioni. Hao wanaitwa nao wako pahala mbali.
*Had We made it a non-Arabic Quran, they would have said, ‘Why have not its signs been articulated?’ ‘What! A non-Arabian [scripture] and an Arabian [prophet]!?’ Say, ‘It is guidance and healing for those who have faith. As for those who are faithless, there is a deafness in their ears and it is lost to their sight: [to them it is as if] they were called from a distant place.’
41:45
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ ۗ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ مُرِيبٍ
*Na hakika tulimpa Musa Kitabu, lakini pakatokea khitilafu kati yake. Na lau kuwa halikwisha tangulia neno la Mola wako Mlezi wangeli hukumiwa. Na hakika wao wamo katika shaka yenye kuwatia wasiwasi.
*Certainly We gave Moses the Book, but differences arose about it; and were it not for a prior decree of your Lord, judgement would have been made between them, for they are in grave doubt concerning it.
41:46
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ
*Anaye tenda mema basi anajitendea mwenyewe nafsi yake, na mwenye kutenda uovu basi ni juu ya nafsi yake vile vile; wala Mola wako Mlezi si mwenye kuwadhulumu waja.
*Whoever acts righteously, it is for [the benefit of] his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is to its detriment, and your Lord is not tyrannical to His servants.
41:47
إِلَيْهِ يُرَدُّ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ ۚ وَمَا تَخْرُجُ مِنْ ثَمَرَاتٍ مِنْ أَكْمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِي قَالُوا آذَنَّاكَ مَا مِنَّا مِنْ شَهِيدٍ
*UJUZI wa kuijua Saa ya Kiyama unarudishwa kwake tu Mwenyezi Mungu. Na matunda hayatoki katika mafumba yake, wala mwanamke hachukui mimba, wala hazai, ila kwa kujua kwake. Na siku atakayo waita, akawaambia: Wako wapi washirika wangu? Hapo watasema: Tunakiri kwako ya kwamba hapana miongoni mwetu anaye shuhudia hayo.
*On Him devolves the knowledge of the Hour, and no fruit emerges from its covering and no female conceives or delivers except with His knowledge. On the day when He will call out to them, ‘Where are My ‘partners’?’ They will say, ‘We informed You that there is no witness amongst us.’
41:48
وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَظَنُّوا مَا لَهُمْ مِنْ مَحِيصٍ
*Na wakawapotea wale walio kuwa wakiwaomba hapo kwanza, na wakawa na yakini kuwa hawana pa kukimbilia.
*What they used to invoke before has forsaken them, and they know there is no escape for them.
41:49
لَا يَسْأَمُ الْإِنْسَانُ مِنْ دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ وَإِنْ مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَئُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ
*Mwanaadamu hachoki kuomba dua za kheri, na inapo mpata shari, mara huvunjika moyo akakata tamaa.
*Man is never wearied of supplicating for good, and should any ill befall him, he becomes hopeless and despondent.
41:50
وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَاهُ رَحْمَةً مِنَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَٰذَا لِي وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِنْ رُجِعْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي إِنَّ لِي عِنْدَهُ لَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ
*Na pindi tukimwonjesha rehema itokayo kwetu baada ya kumgusa dhara, bila ya shaka husema: Haya nayastahiki mimi, wala sidhani kuwa Kiyama kitakuja. Na hata nikirudishwa kwa Mola wangu Mlezi bila ya shaka nina mema yangu kwake! Basi kwa yakini tutawaelezea walio kufuru hayo waliyo yatenda, na kwa yakini tutawaonjesha adhabu ngumu.
*If, after distress has befallen him, We let him have a taste of Our mercy, he says, ‘This is my due! I do not think the Hour will ever come, and in case I am returned to my Lord, I will indeed have the best [reward] with Him.’ So We will surely inform the faithless about what they have done, and will surely make them taste a harsh punishment.
41:51
وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَىٰ بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَاءٍ عَرِيضٍ
*Na tukimneemesha mwanaadamu hugeuka na kujitenga upande, na inapo mgusa shari, huwa na madua marefu marefu.
*When We bless man, he is disregardful and turns aside; but when an ill befalls him, he makes protracted supplications.
41:52
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ
*Sema: Mnaonaje! Ikiwa haya yanatoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, nanyi ikawa ndio mmeyakataa, ni nani aliye potea zaidi kuliko aliye katika upinzani wa mbali?
*Say, ‘Tell me, if it is from Allah and you disbelieve in it, who will be more astray than those who are in extreme defiance.’
41:53
سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الْآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ ۗ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
*Tutawaonyesha Ishara zetu katika upeo wa mbali na katika nafsi zao wenyewe mpaka iwabainikie kwamba haya ni kweli. Je! Haikutoshi kwamba Mola wako Mlezi kuwa Yeye ni Shahidi wa kila kitu?
*Soon We shall show them Our signs in the horizons and in their own souls until it becomes clear to them that He is the Real. Is it not sufficient that your Lord is witness to all things?
41:54
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُحِيطٌ
*Ama wao wamo katika shaka ya kukutana na Mola wao Mlezi! Ama hakika Yeye amekizunguka kila kitu.
*Indeed, they are in doubt about the encounter with their Lord! Indeed, He embraces all things!
