Sura 33 - Al-Ahzaab

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
33:1
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا
*Ewe Nabii! Mche Mwenyezi Mungu wala usiwat´ii makafiri na wanaafiki. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kujua, Mwenye hikima.
*O Prophet! Be wary of God and do not obey the faithless and the hypocrites. God is indeed all-knowing, all-wise.
33:2
وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا
*Na fuata uliyo funuliwa kwa wahyi kutokana na Mola wako Mlezi. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anazo khabari ya mnayo yatenda.
*And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord. God is indeed well aware of what you do.
33:3
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
*Na mtegemee Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anatosha kuwa ni wa kutegemewa.
*And put your trust in God; God suffices as trustee.
33:4
مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِهِ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَاجَكُمُ اللَّائِي تُظَاهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَاءَكُمْ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُمْ بِأَفْوَاهِكُمْ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَقُولُ الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِي السَّبِيلَ
*Mwenyezi Mungu hakumwekea mtu yeyote kuwa ana nyoyo mbili ndani ya mwili wake. Wala hakuwafanya wake zenu - ambao mnawalinganisha migongo yao na migongo ya mama zenu - kuwa ni mama zenu. Wala hakuwafanya watoto wenu wa kupanga kuwa ni wana wenu khasa. Hayo ni maneno ya vinywa vyenu tu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye anaye sema kweli, naye ndiye anaye ongoa Njia.
*God has not put two hearts within any man, nor has He made your wives whom you repudiate by ẓihār your mothers, nor has he made your adopted sons your actual sons. These are mere utterances of your mouths. But God speaks the truth and He guides to the right way.
33:5
ادْعُوهُمْ لِآبَائِهِمْ هُوَ أَقْسَطُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا آبَاءَهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَمَوَالِيكُمْ ۚ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا أَخْطَأْتُمْ بِهِ وَلَٰكِنْ مَا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
*Waiteni kwa baba zao, maana huo ndio uadilifu zaidi mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na ikiwa hamwajui baba zao, basi ni ndugu zenu katika Dini, na rafiki zenu. Wala si lawama juu yenu kwa mlivyo kosea. Lakini ipo lawama katika yale ziliyo fanya nyoyo zenu kwa makusudi. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*Call them after their fathers. That is more just with God. And if you do not know their fathers, then they are your brethren in the faith and your kinsmen. There will be no sin upon you for any mistake that you may make therein, excepting what your hearts may intend deliberately. And God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
33:6
النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَأَزْوَاجُهُ أُمَّهَاتُهُمْ ۗ وَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَفْعَلُوا إِلَىٰ أَوْلِيَائِكُمْ مَعْرُوفًا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا
*Nabii ni bora zaidi kwa Waumini kuliko nafsi zao. Na wake zake ni mama zao. Na jamaa ni karibu wao kwa wao katika Kitabu cha Mwenyezi Mungu kuliko Waumini wengine na Wahamiaji. Ila muwe mnawafanyia wema marafiki zenu. Haya yamekwisha andikwa Kitabuni.
*The Prophet is closer to the faithful than their own souls, and his wives are their mothers. The blood relatives are more entitled to inherit from one another in the Book of God than the other faithful and Emigrants, barring any favour you may do your kinsmen. This has been written in the Book.
33:7
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِيثَاقَهُمْ وَمِنْكَ وَمِنْ نُوحٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُمْ مِيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا
*Na tulipo chukua ahadi kwa Manabii na kwako wewe, na Nuhu na Ibrahim na Isa mwana wa Mariamu, na tulichukua kwao ahadi ngumu,
*[Recall] when We took a pledge from the prophets, and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary, and We took from them a solemn pledge,
33:8
لِيَسْأَلَ الصَّادِقِينَ عَنْ صِدْقِهِمْ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
*Ili (Mwenyezi Mungu) awaulize wakweli juu ya ukweli wao. Na amewaandalia makafiri adhabu chungu.
*so that He may question the truthful touching their truthfulness. And He has prepared for the faithless a painful punishment.
33:9
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَاءَتْكُمْ جُنُودٌ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا وَجُنُودًا لَمْ تَرَوْهَا ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا
*Enyi mlio amini! Zikumbukeni neema za Mwenyezi Mungu zilio juu yenu. Pale yalipo kufikilieni majeshi, nasi tukayapelekea upepo, na majeshi msiyo yaona. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anayaona mnayo yatenda.
*O you who have faith! Remember God’s blessing upon you when the hosts came at you, and We sent against them a gale and hosts whom you did not see. And God sees best what you do.
33:10
إِذْ جَاءُوكُمْ مِنْ فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ الْأَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ الظُّنُونَا
*Walipo kujieni kutoka juu yenu, na kutoka chini yenu; na macho yalipo kodoka, na nyoyo zikapanda kooni, nanyi mkamdhania Mwenyezi Mungu dhana mbali mbali.
*When they came at you from above and below you, and when the eyes rolled with fear and the hearts leapt to the throats and you entertained misgivings about God,
33:11
هُنَالِكَ ابْتُلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَزُلْزِلُوا زِلْزَالًا شَدِيدًا
*Hapo ndipo Waumini walipo jaribiwa, na wakatikiswa mtikiso mkali.
*it was there that the faithful were tested and jolted with a severe agitation.
33:12
وَإِذْ يَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا
*Na walipo sema wanaafiki na wale wenye maradhi katika nyoyo zao: Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake hawakutuahidi ila udanganyifu tu.
*When the hypocrites were saying, as well as those in whose hearts is a sickness, ‘God and His Apostle did not promise us [anything] but delusion.’
33:13
وَإِذْ قَالَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ يَا أَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ فَارْجِعُوا ۚ وَيَسْتَأْذِنُ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمُ النَّبِيَّ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بُيُوتَنَا عَوْرَةٌ وَمَا هِيَ بِعَوْرَةٍ ۖ إِنْ يُرِيدُونَ إِلَّا فِرَارًا
*Na kundi moja katika miongoni mwao lilipo sema: Enyi watu wa Yathrib! Hapana kukaa nyinyi! Rudini. Na kundi jingine miongoni mwao likaomba ruhusa kwa Mtume kwa kusema: Hakika nyumba zetu ni tupu. Wala hazikuwa tupu; hawakutaka ila kukimbia tu.
*And when a group of them said, ‘O people of Yathrib! This is not a place for you to stand your ground, so go back!’ And a group of them sought the Prophet’s permission, saying, ‘Our homes lie exposed to the enemy,’ although they were not exposed. They only sought to flee.
33:14
وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الْفِتْنَةَ لَآتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوا بِهَا إِلَّا يَسِيرًا
*Na lau kuwa wangeli ingiliwa kwa pande zote, kisha wakatakiwa kufanya khiana, wangeli fanya, na wasingeli sita ila kidogo tu.
*Had they been invaded from its flanks and had they been asked to apostatize, they would have done so with only a mild hesitation,
33:15
وَلَقَدْ كَانُوا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ قَبْلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ الْأَدْبَارَ ۚ وَكَانَ عَهْدُ اللَّهِ مَسْئُولًا
*Na hakika walikwisha muahidi Mwenyezi Mungu kabla yake kwamba hawatageuza migongo yao. Na ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni yenye kuulizwa.
*though they had already pledged to God before that they would not turn their backs to flee, and pledges given to God are accountable.
33:16
قُلْ لَنْ يَنْفَعَكُمُ الْفِرَارُ إِنْ فَرَرْتُمْ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ أَوِ الْقَتْلِ وَإِذًا لَا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
*Sema: Kukimbia hakukufaeni kitu ikiwa mnakimbia mauti au kuuwawa, na hata hivyo hamtastareheshwa ila kidogo tu.
*Say, ‘Flight will not avail you should you flee from death, or from being killed, and then you will be let to enjoy only for a little while.’
33:17
قُلْ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَعْصِمُكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ سُوءًا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ رَحْمَةً ۚ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
*Sema: Ni nani wa kukulindeni na Mwenyezi Mungu pindi akikutakieni uovu, au akikutakieni rehema? Wala hawatapata mlinzi wala msaidizi isipo kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*Say, ‘Who is it that can protect you from God if He desires to bring you harm, or desire to grant you His mercy?’ They will not find for themselves any friend or helper besides God.
33:18
قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا ۖ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
*Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anawajua hao wanao zuilia, na wanao waambia ndugu zao: Njooni kwetu! Wala hawaingii vitani ila kidogo tu.
*God knows those of you who discourage others, and those who say to their brethren, ‘Come to us!’ and take little part in the battle,
33:19
أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِي يُغْشَىٰ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ ۖ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُمْ بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَيْرِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَأَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا
*Wana choyo juu yenu. Ikifika khofu utawaona wanakutazama na macho yao yanazunguka, kama yule ambaye aliye zimia kwa kukaribia mauti. Na khofu ikiondoka wanakuudhini kwa ndimi kali, nao ni mabakhili kwa kila la kheri. Hao hawakuamini, basi Mwenyezi Mungu amevibat´ilisha vitendo vyao. Na hayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni mepesi.
*grudging you their help. So when there is panic, you see them observing you, their eyes rolling like someone fainting at death. Then, when the panic is over, they scald you with their sharp tongues in their greed for the spoils. They never have had faith. So God has made their works fail, and that is easy for God.
33:20
يَحْسَبُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا ۖ وَإِنْ يَأْتِ الْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ بَادُونَ فِي الْأَعْرَابِ يَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَنْبَائِكُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كَانُوا فِيكُمْ مَا قَاتَلُوا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
*Wanafikiri yale makundi ya maadui hayajaondoka. Na yakija hayo makundi watatamani laiti wao wako majangwani pamoja na mabedui, wakiuliza khabari zenu. Na lau wakiwa pamoja nanyi hawapigani ila kidogo tu.
*They suppose the confederates have not left yet, and were the confederates to come again, they would wish they were in the desert with the Bedouins asking about your news, and if they were with you they would fight but a little.
33:21
لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا
*Hakika nyinyi mnayo ruwaza njema kwa Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa anaye mtaraji Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho, na akamkumbuka Mwenyezi Mungu sana.
*In the Apostle of God there is certainly for you a good exemplar, for those who look forward to God and the Last Day and remember God much.
33:22
وَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَصَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا إِيمَانًا وَتَسْلِيمًا
*Na Waumini walipo yaona makundi, walisema: Haya ndiyo aliyo tuahidi Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake wamesema kweli. Na hayo hayakuwazidisha ila Imani na ut´iifu.
*But when the faithful saw the confederates, they said, ‘This is what God and His Apostle had promised us, and God and His Apostle were true.’ And it only increased them in faith and submission.
33:23
مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا
*Miongoni mwa Waumini wapo watu walio timiza waliyo ahidiana na Mwenyezi Mungu. Baadhi yao wamekwisha kufa, na baadhi wanangojea, wala hawakubadilisha (ahadi) hata kidogo.
*Among the faithful are men who are true to their pledge with God: some of them have fulfilled their pledge and some of them still wait, and they have not changed in the least,
33:24
لِيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ الصَّادِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِنْ شَاءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
*Ili Mwenyezi Mungu awalipe wakweli kwa sababu ya ukweli wao, na awaadhibu wanaafiki pindi akitaka, au apokee toba yao. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*that God may reward the true for their truthfulness and punish the hypocrites, if He wishes, or accept their repentance. God is indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful.
33:25
وَرَدَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا خَيْرًا ۚ وَكَفَى اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْقِتَالَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًا
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu aliwarudisha nyuma makafiri juu ya ghadhabu yao; hawakupata kheri yoyote. Na Mwenyezi Mungu amewatosheleza Waumini katika vita. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu na uweza.
*God sent back the faithless in their rage without their attaining any advantage, and God spared the faithful of fighting, and God is all-strong, all-mighty.
33:26
وَأَنْزَلَ الَّذِينَ ظَاهَرُوهُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِنْ صَيَاصِيهِمْ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ فَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًا
*Na akawateremsha wale walio wasaidia (maadui) katika Watu wa Kitabu kutoka katika ngome zao; na akatia khofu katika nyoyo zao. Baadhi yao mkawa mnawauwa, na wengine mnawateka.
*And He dragged down those who had backed them from among the People of the Book from their strongholds, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that you killed a part of them, and took captive another part of them.
33:27
وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَارَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ وَأَرْضًا لَمْ تَطَئُوهَا ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًا
*Na akakurithisheni ardhi zao na nyumba zao na mali zao, na ardhi msiyo pata kuikanyaga. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye uweza juu ya kila kitu.
*He bequeathed you their land, their houses and their possessions and a territory you had not trodden, and God has power over all things.
33:28
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ إِنْ كُنْتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا
*Ewe Nabii! Waambie wake zako: Ikiwa mnataka maisha ya dunia na pambo lake, basi njooni, nitakupeni kitoka nyumba, na kukuacheni mwachano mzuri.
*O Prophet! Say to your wives, ‘If you desire the life of the world and its glitter, come, I will provide for you and release you in a graceful manner.
33:29
وَإِنْ كُنْتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَاتِ مِنْكُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
*Na ikiwa mnamtaka Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake na nyumba ya Akhera, basi Mwenyezi Mungu amewaandalia wafanyao mema, miongoni mwenu, malipo makubwa.
*But if you desire God and His Apostle and the abode of the Hereafter, then God has indeed prepared a great reward for the virtuous among you.’
33:30
يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ مَنْ يَأْتِ مِنْكُنَّ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ يُضَاعَفْ لَهَا الْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا
*Enyi wake wa Nabii! Atakaye fanya uchafu dhaahiri miongoni mwenu, atazidishiwa adhabu mara mbili. Na hayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni mepesi.
*O wives of the Prophet! Whoever of you commits a gross indecency, her punishment shall be doubled, and that is easy for God.
33:31
وَمَنْ يَقْنُتْ مِنْكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا نُؤْتِهَا أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقًا كَرِيمًا
*NA MIONGONI mwenu atakeye mt´ii Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, na akatenda mema, tutampa malipo yake mara mbili, na tutamwandalia riziki ya ukarimu.
*But whoever of you is obedient to God and His Apostle and acts righteously, We will give her a twofold reward, and hold for her in store a noble provision.
33:32
يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ ۚ إِنِ اتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلًا مَعْرُوفًا
*Enyi wake wa Nabii! Nyinyi si kama yeyote katika wanawake wengine. Kama mnamcha Mungu basi msiregeze sauti zenu, akaingia tamaa mwenye maradhi katika moyo wake. Na semeni maneno mema.
*O wives of the Prophet! You are not like other women: if you are Godwary, do not be complaisant in your speech, lest he in whose heart is a sickness should aspire; speak honourable words.
33:33
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا
*Na kaeni majumbani kwenu, wala msijishauwe kwa majishauwo ya kijahilia ya kizamani. Na shikeni Sala, na toeni Zaka, na mt´iini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anataka kukuondoleeni uchafu, enyi Watu wa Nyumba ya Mtume, na kukusafisheni baarabara.
*Stay in your houses and do not flaunt your finery like the former days of pagan ignorance. Maintain the prayer and pay the zakāt, and obey God and His Apostle. Indeed, God desires to repel all impurity from you, O People of the Household, and purify you with a thorough purification.
33:34
وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَىٰ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًا
*Na kumbukeni yasomwayo majumbani mwenu katika Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu na hikima. Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi wa mambo ya siri, na Mwenye khabari.
*And remember what is recited in your homes of the signs of God and wisdom. God is indeed all-attentive, all-aware.
33:35
إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْقَانِتَاتِ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّابِرَاتِ وَالْخَاشِعِينَ وَالْخَاشِعَاتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَاتِ وَالصَّائِمِينَ وَالصَّائِمَاتِ وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَافِظَاتِ وَالذَّاكِرِينَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَالذَّاكِرَاتِ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا
*Hakika Waislamu wanaume na Waislamu wanawake, na Waumini wanaume na Waumini wanawake, na wat´iifu wanaume na wat´iifu wanawake, na wasemao kweli wanaume na wanawake, na wanao subiri wanaume na wanawake, na wanyenyekevu wanaume na wanawake, na watoao sadaka wanaume na wanawake, na wanao funga wanaume na wanawake, na wanao jihifadhi tupu zao wanaume na wanawake, na wanao mdhukuru Mwenyezi Mungu kwa wingi wanaume na wanawake, Mwenyezi Mungu amewaandalia msamaha na ujira mkubwa.
*Indeed, the muslim men and the muslim women, the faithful men and the faithful women, the obedient men and the obedient women, the truthful men and the truthful women, the patient men and the patient women, the humble men and the humble women, the charitable men and the charitable women, the men who fast and the women who fast, the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, the men who remember God much and the women who remember —God holds in store for them forgiveness and a great reward.
33:36
وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُبِينًا
*Haiwi kwa Muumini mwanamume wala Muumini mwanamke kuwa na khiari katika jambo, Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake wanapo kata shauri katika jambo lao. Na mwenye kumuasi Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake basi hakika amepotea upotofu ulio wazi.
*A faithful man or woman may not, when God and His Apostle have decided on a matter, have any option in their matter, and whoever disobeys God and His Apostle has certainly strayed into manifest error.
33:37
وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَنْ تَخْشَاهُ ۖ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ زَيْدٌ مِنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا
*Na ulipo mwambia yule Mwenyezi Mungu aliye mneemesha, nawe ukamneemesha: Shikamana na mkeo, na mche Mwenyezi Mungu. Na ukaficha nafsini mwako aliyo taka Mwenyezi Mungu kuyafichua, nawe ukawachelea watu, hali Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye mwenye haki zaidi kumchelea. Basi Zaid alipo kwisha haja naye tulikuoza wewe, ili isiwe taabu kwa Waumini kuwaoa wake wa watoto wao wa kupanga watapo kuwa wamekwisha timiza nao shuruti za t´alaka. Na amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni yenye kutekelezwa.
*When you said to him whom God had blessed, and whom you too had blessed, ‘Retain your wife for yourself, and be wary of God,’ and you had hidden in your heart what God was to divulge, and you feared the people though God is worthier that you should fear Him, so when Zayd had got through with her, We wedded her to you, so that there may be no blame on the faithful in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have got through with them, and God’s command is bound to be fulfilled.
33:38
مَا كَانَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ۖ سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَقْدُورًا
*Hapana ubaya kwa Nabii kufanya aliyo mhalalishia Mwenyezi Mungu. Huo ndio mwendo wa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa walio pita zamani. Na amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni kudura iliyo kwisha kadiriwa.
*There is no blame on the Prophet in respect of that which God has made lawful for him: God’s precedent with those who passed away earlier —and God’s commands are ordained by a precise ordaining—
33:39
الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا
*(Hao wa zamani) walio kuwa wakifikisha risala za Mwenyezi Mungu na wanamwogopa Yeye, na wala hawamwogopi yeyote isipo kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye atoshaye kuhisabu.
*such as deliver the messages of God and fear Him and fear no one except God, and God suffices as reckoner.
33:40
مَا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
*Muhammad si baba wa yeyote katika wanaume wenu, bali ni Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mwisho wa Manabii, na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi wa kila kitu.
*Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Apostle of God and the Seal of the Prophets, and God has knowledge of all things.
33:41
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا
*Enyi mlio amini! Mdhukuruni Mwenyezi Mungu kwa wingi wa kumdhukuru.
*O you who have faith! Remember God with frequent remembrance
33:42
وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
*Na mtakaseni asubuhi na jioni.
*and glorify Him morning and evening.
33:43
هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۚ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا
*Yeye na Malaika wake ndio wanakurehemuni ili kukutoeni gizani mwende kwenye nuru. Naye ni Mwenye kuwarehemu Waumini.
*It is He who blesses you—and so do His angels— that He may bring you out from darkness into light, and He is most merciful to the faithful.
33:44
تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَامٌ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَرِيمًا
*Maamkiano yao siku ya kukutana naye yatakuwa: Salama! Na amewaandalia malipo ya ukarimu.
*The day they encounter Him, their greeting will be, ‘Peace,’ and He holds in store for them a noble reward.
33:45
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
*Ewe Nabii! Hakika Sisi tumekutuma uwe shahidi na mbashiri na mwonyaji,
*O Prophet! We have indeed sent you as a witness, as a bearer of good news and warner
33:46
وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجًا مُنِيرًا
*Na mwitaji kumwendea Mwenyezi Mungu kwa idhini yake, na taa yenye kutoa nuru.
*and as a summoner to God by His permission, and as a radiant lamp.
33:47
وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَضْلًا كَبِيرًا
*Na wabashirie Waumini ya kwamba wana fadhila kubwa inayo toka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*Announce to the faithful the good news that there will be for them a great grace from God.
33:48
وَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَدَعْ أَذَاهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
*Wala usiwat´ii makafiri na wanaafiki, na usijali udhia wao. Nawe mtegemee Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anatosha kuwa Mtegemewa.
*Do not obey the faithless and the hypocrites and disregard their torments, and put your trust in God, and God suffices as trustee.
33:49
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نَكَحْتُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٍ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا ۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحًا جَمِيلًا
*Enyi mlio amini! Mkiwaoa wanawake, Waumini, kisha mkawapa t´alaka kabla ya kuwagusa, basi hamna eda juu yao mtakayo ihisabu. Basi wapeni cha kuwaliwaza, na muwawache kwa kuwachana kwa wema.
*O you who have faith! When you marry faithful women and then divorce them before you touch them, there shall be no period of waiting for you to reckon. But provide for them and release them in a graceful manner.
33:50
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِنَّا أَحْلَلْنَا لَكَ أَزْوَاجَكَ اللَّاتِي آتَيْتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمَّاتِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالَاتِكَ اللَّاتِي هَاجَرْنَ مَعَكَ وَامْرَأَةً مُؤْمِنَةً إِنْ وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ أَنْ يَسْتَنْكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَكَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۗ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا فَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِي أَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ لِكَيْلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيْكَ حَرَجٌ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
*Ewe Nabii! Tumekuhalalishia wake zako ulio wapa mahari yao, na ulio wamiliki kwa mkono wako wa kulia katika alio kupa Mwenyezi Mungu, na mabinti ami zako, na mabinti wa shangazi zako, na mabinti wa wajomba zako, na mabinti wa dada za mama yako walio hama pamoja nawe; na mwanamke Muumini akijitoa mwenyewe kwa Nabii, kama mwenyewe Nabii akitaka kumwoa. Ni halali kwako wewe tu, si kwa Waumini wengine. Sisi tunajua tuliyo wafaridhia wao katika wake zao na wanawake ilio wamiliki mikono yao ya kulia. Ili isiwe dhiki kwao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*O Prophet! Indeed, We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand owns, of those whom God gave you as spoils of war, and the daughters of your paternal uncle, and the daughters of your paternal aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncle, and the daughters of your maternal aunts who migrated with you, and a faithful woman if she offers herself to the Prophet and the Prophet desires to take her in marriage (a privilege exclusively for you, not for the rest of the faithful; We know what We have made lawful for them with respect to their wives and those whom their right hands own so that there may be no blame on you), and God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
33:51
تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا آتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًا
*Unaweza kuakhirisha zamu kwa umtakaye katika wao, na umsogeze umtakaye. Na kama ukimtaka yule uliye mtenga, basi si vibaya kwako. Kufanya hivi kutapelekea yaburudike macho yao, wala wasihuzunike, na wawe radhi juu ya kile unacho wapa wao wote. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua yaliyomo nyoyoni mwenu, na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kujua, Mwenye hikima.
*You may put off whichever of them you wish and consort with whichever of them you wish, and as for any whom you may seek to consort with from among those you have set aside earlier, there is no sin upon you [in receiving her again]. That makes it likelier that they will be comforted and not feel unhappy, and all of them will be pleased with what you give them. God knows what is in your hearts, and God is all-knowing, all-forbearing.
33:52
لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدُ وَلَا أَنْ تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ رَقِيبًا
*Baada ya hawa hawakuhalalikii wewe wanawake wengine, wala kuwabadilisha kwa wake wengine ingawa uzuri wao ukikupendeza; isipo kuwa yule uliye mmiliki kwa mkono wako wa kulia. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anachungua kila kitu.
*Beyond that, women are not lawful for you, nor that you should change them for other wives even though their beauty should impress you, except those whom your right hand owns. God is watchful over all things.
33:53
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَىٰ طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاهُ وَلَٰكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانْتَشِرُوا وَلَا مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ فَيَسْتَحْيِي مِنْكُمْ ۖ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَنْ تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَنْ تَنْكِحُوا أَزْوَاجَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ أَبَدًا ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَظِيمًا
*Enyi mlio amini! Msiingie nyumba za Nabii ila mpewe ruhusa kwenda kula, sio kungojea kiwive. Lakini mtakapo itwa basi ingieni, na mkisha kula tawanyikeni, wala msiweke mazungumzo. Hakika hayo yanamuudhi Nabii naye anakustahini, lakini Mwenyezi Mungu hastahi kwa jambo la haki. Na mnapo wauliza wakeze haja waulizeni nyuma ya mapazia. Hivyo ndio usafi zaidi kwa nyoyo zenu na nyoyo zao. Wala haikufalieni kumuudhi Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, wala kuwaoa wake zake baada yake kabisa. Hakika jambo hilo ni kubwa mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu.
*O you who have faith! Do not enter the Prophet’s houses for a meal until you are granted permission, without waiting for it to be readied. But enter when you are invited, and disperse when you have taken your meal, without cozying up for chats. Such conduct on your part offends the Prophet, and he is ashamed of asking you to leave; but God is not ashamed of expressing the truth. When you ask his womenfolk for something, do ask them from behind a curtain. That is more chaste for your hearts and theirs. You should not offend the Apostle of God, nor may you ever marry his wives after him. That would indeed be a grave sin with God.
33:54
إِنْ تُبْدُوا شَيْئًا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
*Mkidhihirisha chochote kile, au mkikificha, basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kujua kila kitu.
*Whether you disclose anything or hide it, God indeed knows all things.
33:55
لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِنَّ فِي آبَائِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَائِهِنَّ وَلَا إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ وَلَا نِسَائِهِنَّ وَلَا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ ۗ وَاتَّقِينَ اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا
*Hapana ubaya kwao (wake za Mtume) kuonana na baba zao, wala watoto wao, wala ndugu zao, wala watoto wa ndugu zao wanaume, wala watoto wa ndugu zao wanawake, wala wanawake wenzao, wala wale iliyo wamiliki mikono yao ya kulia. Na enyi wanawake, mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kushuhudia kila kitu.
*There is no sin on them in socializing freely with their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or the sons of their sisters, or their own womenfolk, or what their right hands own. Be wary of God. Indeed, God is witness to all things.
33:56
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu na Malaika wake wanamsalia Nabii. Enyi mlio amini! Msalieni na mumsalimu kwa salamu.
*Indeed, God and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who have faith! Invoke blessings on him and invoke Peace upon him in a worthy manner.
33:57
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا مُهِينًا
*Hakika wanao muudhi Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, Mwenyezi Mungu amewalaani duniani na Akhera, na amewaandalia adhabu ya kufedhehi.
*Indeed, those who offend God and His Apostle are cursed by God in the world and the Hereafter, and He has prepared a humiliating punishment for them.
33:58
وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا اكْتَسَبُوا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلُوا بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُبِينًا
*Na wale wanao waudhi Waumini wanaume na wanawake pasina wao kufanya kosa lolote, bila ya shaka wamebeba dhulma kubwa na dhambi zilio dhaahiri.
*Those who offend faithful men and women undeservedly, certainly bear the guilt of slander and flagrant sin.
33:59
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
*Ewe Nabii! Waambie wake zako, na binti zako, na wake za Waumini wajiteremshie nguo zao. Hivyo ni karibu zaidi kuweza kutambulikana wasiudhiwe. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the faithful to draw closely over themselves their scarfs [when going out]. That makes it likely for them to be recognized and not be troubled, and God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
33:60
لَئِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهِ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالْمُرْجِفُونَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
*Kama wanaafiki na wale wenye maradhi nyoyoni mwao, na waenezao fitna katika Madina hawatoacha, basi kwa yakini tutakusalitisha juu yao, kisha hawatakaa humo karibu yako ila muda mchache tu.
*If the hypocrites do not desist, and also those in whose hearts is a sickness, and the rumour-mongers in the city do not give up, We will prompt you to take action against them; then they will not be your neighbours in it except briefly.
33:61
مَلْعُونِينَ ۖ أَيْنَمَا ثُقِفُوا أُخِذُوا وَقُتِّلُوا تَقْتِيلًا
*Wamelaanika! Popote watakapo onekana watakamatwa na watauliwa kabisa.
*Accursed, they will be seized wherever they are confronted and slain violently:
33:62
سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا
*Hii ni ada ya Mwenyezi Mungu iliyo kuwa kwa wale walio pita zamani. Wala hutapata mabadiliko katika ada ya Mwenyezi Mungu.
*God’s precedent with those who passed away before, and you will never find any change in God’s precedent.
33:63
يَسْأَلُكَ النَّاسُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا
*Watu wanakuuliza khabari ya Saa (ya Kiyama). Sema: Ujuzi wake uko kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na nini kitakujuvya? Pengine hiyo Saa iko karibu.
*The people question you concerning the Hour. Say, ‘Its knowledge is only with God.’ What do you know, maybe the Hour is near.
33:64
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَنَ الْكَافِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ سَعِيرًا
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amewalaani makafiri na amewaandalia Moto unao waka kwa nguvu.
*Indeed, God has cursed the faithless and prepared for them a blaze
33:65
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ لَا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
*Watadumu humo milele. Hawampati mlinzi wala wa kuwanusuru.
*in which they will remain forever and will not find any friend or helper.
33:66
يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا لَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا الرَّسُولَا
*Siku ambayo nyuso zao zitapinduliwa pinduliwa katika Moto. Watasema: Laiti tungeli mt´ii Mwenyezi Mungu, na tungeli mt´ii Mtume!
*The day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they will say, ‘We wish we had obeyed God and obeyed the Apostle!’
33:67
وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا
*Na watasema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Hakika sisi tuliwat´ii bwana zetu na wakubwa wetu; nao ndio walio tupoteza njia.
*They will say, ‘Our Lord! We obeyed our leaders and elders and they led us astray from the way.’
33:68
رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا
*Mola wetu Mlezi! Wape wao adhabu mara mbili, na uwalaani laana kubwa.
*Our Lord! Give them a double punishment and curse them with a mighty curse.’
33:69
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ آذَوْا مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ اللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا ۚ وَكَانَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَجِيهًا
*Enyi mlio amini! Msiwe kama wale walio mtaabisha Musa, lakini Mwenyezi Mungu akamtakasa na waliyo yasema, naye alikuwa mwenye hishima mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu.
*O you who have faith! Do not be like those who offended Moses, whereat God cleared him of what they alleged, and he was distinguished in God’s sight.
33:70
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا
*Enyi mlio amini! Mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu na semeni maneno ya sawasawa.
*O you who have faith! Be wary of God and speak upright words.
33:71
يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
*Apate kukutengenezeeni vitendo vyenu na akusameheni madhambi yenu. Na anaye mt´ii Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, bila ya shaka amefanikiwa mafanikio makubwa.
*He will rectify your conduct for you and forgive you your sins. Whoever obeys God and His Apostle will certainly achieve a great success.
33:72
إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا الْإِنْسَانُ ۖ إِنَّهُ كَانَ ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا
*Kwa hakika Sisi tulikadimisha amana kwa mbingu na ardhi na milima; na vyote hivyo vikakataa kuichukua na vikaogopa. Lakini mwanaadamu akaichukua. Hakika yeye amekuwa dhaalimu mjinga.
*Indeed, We presented the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to undertake it, and were apprehensive of it; but the human being undertook it. He is indeed most ignorant and unjust.
33:73
لِيُعَذِّبَ اللَّهُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ وَيَتُوبَ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
*Kwa hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu anawaadhibu wanaafiki wanaume, na wanaafiki wanawake, na washirikina wanaume, na washirikina wanawake; na anawapokelea toba Waumini wanaume, na Waumini wanawake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*God will surely punish the hypocrites, men and women, and the polytheists, men and women, and God will turn clemently to the faithful, men and women, and God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
