Sura 29 - Al-Ankaboot

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
29:1
الم
*Alif Lam Mim (A.L.M.)
*Alif, Lam, Meem.
29:2
أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يُتْرَكُوا أَنْ يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
*Je! Wanadhani watu wataachwa kwa kuwa wanasema: Tumeamini. Nao wasijaribiwe?
*Do the people suppose that they will be let off because they say, ‘We have faith,’ and they will not be tested?
29:3
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ
*Hakika tuliwajaribu walio kuwa kabla yao, na kwa yakini Mwenyezi Mungu atawatambulisha walio wa kweli na atawatambulisha walio waongo.
*Certainly We tested those who were before them. So Allah shall surely ascertain those who are truthful, and He shall surely ascertain the liars.
29:4
أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ أَنْ يَسْبِقُونَا ۚ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
*Au wanadhani wanao tenda maovu kwamba watatushinda? Hukumu mbaya hiyo wanayo hukumu.
*Do those who commit misdeeds suppose that they can outmaneuver Us? Evil is the judgement that they make.
29:5
مَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ لَآتٍ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Mwenye kutaraji kukutana na Mwenyezi Mungu, basi hakika miadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu itafika bila ya shaka. Naye ni Mwenye kusikia, Mwenye kujua.
*Whoever expects to encounter Allah [should know that] Allah’s [appointed] time will indeed come, and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.
29:6
وَمَنْ جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Na anaye fanya juhudi basi bila ya shaka anafanya juhudi kwa ajili ya nafsi yake. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu si mhitaji wa walimwengu.
*Whoever strives, strives only for his own sake. Indeed Allah has no need of the creatures.
29:7
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Na walio amini na wakatenda mema, kwa yakini tutawafutia makosa yao, na tutawalipa bora ya waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, We will absolve them of their misdeeds and We will surely reward them by the best of what they used to do.
29:8
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۚ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Na tumemuusia mwanaadamu kuwafanyia wema wazazi wake. Na ikiwa watakushikilia unishirikishe Mimi na usiyo kuwa na ujuzi nayo, basi usiwat´ii. Kwangu Mimi ndio marejeo yenu, na nitakwambieni mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.
*We have enjoined man to be good to his parents. But if they urge you to ascribe to Me as partner that of which you have no knowledge, then do not obey them. To Me will be your return, whereat I will inform you concerning what you used to do.
29:9
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ فِي الصَّالِحِينَ
*Na walio amini na wakatenda mema, bila ya shaka tutawatia miongoni mwa watu wema.
*Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, We will surely admit them among the righteous.
29:10
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ فَإِذَا أُوذِيَ فِي اللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتْنَةَ النَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ اللَّهِ وَلَئِنْ جَاءَ نَصْرٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمْ ۚ أَوَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِمَا فِي صُدُورِ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Na katika watu wapo wanao sema: Tumemuamini Mwenyezi Mungu. Lakini wanapo pewa maudhi kwa ajili ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wanayafanya mateso ya watu kama ni adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na inapo kuja nusura kutoka kwa Mola wako Mlezi husema: Hakika sisi tulikuwa pamoja nanyi. Kwani Mwenyezi Mungu hayajui yaliomo vifuani mwa walimwengu?
*Among the people there are those who say, ‘We have faith in Allah,’ but if such a one is tormented in Allah’s cause, he takes persecution by the people for Allah’s punishment. Yet if there comes any help from your Lord, they will say, ‘We were indeed with you.’ Does not Allah know best what is in the breasts of the creatures?
29:11
وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ
*Na hapana shaka Mwenyezi Mungu atawatambulisha walio amini, na atawatambulisha wanaafiki.
*Allah shall surely ascertain those who have faith, and He shall surely ascertain the hypocrites.
29:12
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّبِعُوا سَبِيلَنَا وَلْنَحْمِلْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَمَا هُمْ بِحَامِلِينَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
*Na walio kufuru waliwaambia walio amini: Fuateni njia yetu, nasi tutayabeba makosa yenu. Wala wao hawatabeba katika makosa yao chochote kile. Hakika hao ni waongo.
*The faithless say to the faithful, ‘Follow our way and we will bear [responsibility for] your iniquities.’ They will not bear anything of their iniquities. They are indeed liars.
29:13
وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ ۖ وَلَيُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
*Na hapana shaka wataibeba mizigo yao na mizigo mingine pamoja na mizigo yao. Na kwa yakini wataulizwa Siku ya Kiyama juu ya waliyo kuwa wakiyazua.
*But they will carry their own burdens and other burdens along with their own burdens, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection concerning that which they used to fabricate.
29:14
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
*Na hakika tulimtuma Nuhu kwa watu wake, na akakaa nao miaka elfu kasoro miaka khamsini. Basi tufani liliwachukua, nao ni madhaalimu.
*Certainly We sent Noah to his people, and he remained with them for a thousand-less-fifty years. Then the flood overtook them while they were wrongdoers.
29:15
فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَصْحَابَ السَّفِينَةِ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا آيَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
*Nasi tukamwokoa yeye na wenziwe wa katika safina, na tukaifanya kuwa ni Ishara kwa walimwengu wote.
*Then We delivered him and those who were in the Ark, and made it a sign for all the nations.
29:16
وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ ۖ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
*Na Ibrahim pale alipo waambia watu wake: Muabuduni Mwenyezi Mungu, na mcheni Yeye. Hiyo ndiyo kheri yenu, ikiwa nyinyi mnajua.
*And Abraham, when he said to his people, ‘Worship Allah and be wary of Him. That is better for you, should you know.
29:17
إِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا وَتَخْلُقُونَ إِفْكًا ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا فَابْتَغُوا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الرِّزْقَ وَاعْبُدُوهُ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ ۖ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
*Hakika nyinyi mnaabudu masanamu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na mnazua uzushi. Hakika hao mnao waabudu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu hawakumilikiini riziki yoyote. Takeni riziki kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na mumuabudu Yeye, na mumshukuru Yeye. Kwake Yeye ndio mtarudishwa.
*What you worship instead of Allah are mere idols, and you invent a lie. Indeed those whom you worship besides Allah have no control over your provision. So seek all [your] provision from Allah, and worship Him and thank Him, and to Him you shall be brought back.’
29:18
وَإِنْ تُكَذِّبُوا فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
*Na mkikadhibisha, basi kaumu kadhaa wa kadhaa za kabla yenu zilikwisha kadhibisha. Na si juu ya Mtume ila kufikisha Ujumbe waziwazi.
*If you impugn [the Apostle’s teaching], then [other] nations have impugned [likewise] before you, and the Apostle’s duty is only to communicate in clear terms.
29:19
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
*Je! Wao hawaoni jinsi Mwenyezi Mungu anavyo anzisha uumbaji, na kisha akarudisha tena. Hakika hayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni mepesi.
*Have they not regarded how Allah originates the creation? Then He will bring it back. That is indeed easy for Allah.
29:20
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ بَدَأَ الْخَلْقَ ۚ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنْشِئُ النَّشْأَةَ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Sema: Tembeeni katika ardhi na tazameni jinsi alivyo anzisha uumbaji; kisha Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye anaye umba umbo la baadaye. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza juu ya kila kitu.
*Say, ‘Travel over the land and observe how He has originated the creation.’ Then Allah will bring about the genesis of the Hereafter. Indeed Allah has power over all things.
29:21
يُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَرْحَمُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ تُقْلَبُونَ
*Humuadhibu amtakaye, na humrehemu amtakaye. Na kwake Yeye mtapelekwa.
*He will punish whomever He wishes and have mercy on whomever He wishes, and to Him you will be returned.
29:22
وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
*Na nyinyi si wenye kushinda katika ardhi wala katika mbingu. Wala nyinyi hamna mlinzi wala msaidizi isipo kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*You cannot frustrate Him on the earth or in the sky, nor do you have besides Allah any guardian or helper.
29:23
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَلِقَائِهِ أُولَٰئِكَ يَئِسُوا مِنْ رَحْمَتِي وَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
*Na walio zikanusha Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu na kukutana naye, hao ndio wenye kukata tamaa na rehema yangu, na hao ndio wenye kupata adhabu chungu.
*Those who deny the signs of Allah and the encounter with Him—they have despaired of My mercy, and for such there is a painful punishment.
29:24
فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا اقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنْجَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Basi haikuwa jawabu ya watu wake ila ni kusema: Muuweni au mchomeni moto! Mwenyezi Mungu akamwokoa na moto. Hakika katika hayo zipo Ishara kwa watu wanao amini.
*But the only answer of his people was that they said, ‘Kill him, or burn him.’ Then Allah delivered him from the fire. There are indeed signs in that for a people who have faith.
29:25
وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا مَوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ
*Na alisema: Hakika nyinyi mmeyashika masanamu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu kwa mapenzi yaliyo baina yenu katika uhai wa duniani. Kisha Siku ya Kiyama mtakataana nyinyi kwa nyinyi, na mtalaaniana nyinyi kwa nyinyi. Na makaazi yenu ni Motoni. Wala hamtapata wa kukunusuruni.
*He said, ‘You have taken idols [for worship] besides Allah for the sake of [mutual] affection amongst yourselves in the life of the world. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will disown one another and curse one another, and the Fire will be your abode, and you will not have any helpers.’
29:26
فَآمَنَ لَهُ لُوطٌ ۘ وَقَالَ إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
*Lut´i akamuamini, na akasema: Mimi nahamia kwa Mola wangu Mlezi. Hakika Yeye ndiye Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima.
*Thereupon Lot believed in him, and he said, ‘Indeed I am migrating toward my Lord. Indeed He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.’
29:27
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَجْرَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
*Na tulimtunukia (Ibrahim) Is-haq na Yaa´qub. Na tukajaalia katika dhuriya zake Unabii na Kitabu, na tukampa ujira wake katika dunia; naye hakika katika Akhera bila ya shaka ni katika watu wema.
*And We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and We ordained among his descendants prophethood and the Book, and We gave him his reward in this world, and in the Hereafter he will indeed be among the Righteous.
29:28
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Na pale Lut´i alipo waambia watu wake: Hakika nyinyi mnafanya uchafu, ambao hapana mmoja katika walimwengu aliye kutangulieni kwa hayo.
*And Lot, when he said to his people, ‘You indeed commit an indecency none in the world has ever committed before you!
29:29
أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ السَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
*Je! Nyinyi mnawaingilia wanaume, na mnaikata njia? Na katika mikutano yenu mnafanya maovu? Basi haikuwa jawabu ya watu wake isipo kuwa kusema: Tuletee hiyo adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu ikiwa wewe ni katika wasemao kweli.
*What! Do you come to men, and cut off the way, and commit outrages in your gatherings?’ But the only answer of his people was that they said, ‘Bring down us Allah’s punishment, if you are truthful.’
29:30
قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
*Akasema: Ewe Mola wangu Mlezi! Ninusuru na watu mafisadi hawa!
*He said, ‘My Lord! Help me against this corruptive lot.’
29:31
وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُو أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ ۖ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ
*Na wajumbe wetu walipo mjia Ibrahim na bishara, walisema: Hakika sisi hapana shaka tutawahiliki watu wa mji huu, kwani watu wake hakika wamekuwa madhaalimu.
*And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said, ‘We are indeed going to destroy the people of this town. Its people are indeed wrongdoers.’
29:32
قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطًا ۚ قَالُوا نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ فِيهَا ۖ لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
*Akasema: Hakika humo yumo Lut´i. Wao wakasema: Sisi tunajua zaidi nani yumo humo. Hapana shaka tutamwokoa yeye na ahali zake, isipo kuwa mkewe aliye miongoni mwa watao kaa nyuma.
*He said, ‘Lot is in it.’ They said, ‘We know better those who are in it. We will surely deliver him and his family, except his wife: she shall be one of those who remain behind.’
29:33
وَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ ۖ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
*Na wajumbe wetu walipo mfikia Lut´i, alihuzunika kwa ajili yao, na moyo uliona dhiki kwa ajili yao. Wakasema: Usiogope, wala usihuzunike. Hakika sisi tutakuokoa wewe na ahali zako, ila mkeo aliye miongoni mwa watao kaa nyuma.
*And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed on their account and in a predicament for their sake. But they said, ‘Do not be afraid, nor grieve! We shall deliver you and your family, except your wife: she will be one of those who remain behind.
29:34
إِنَّا مُنْزِلُونَ عَلَىٰ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ
*Kwa yakini sisi tutawateremshia watu wa mji huu adhabu kutoka mbinguni kwa sababu ya uchafu wanao ufanya.
*We are indeed going to bring down upon the people of this town a punishment from the sky because of the transgressions they used to commit.’
29:35
وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْهَا آيَةً بَيِّنَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
*Na tumeacha katika mji huo Ishara ilio wazi kwa watu wanao tumia akili zao.
*Certainly We have left of it a manifest sign for people who exercise their reason.
29:36
وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَارْجُوا الْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
*Na kwa Madyana tulimtuma ndugu yao Shuaibu, naye akasema: Enyi watu wangu! Muabuduni Mwenyezi Mungu na iogopeni Siku ya Akhera, wala msende katika ardhi mkifisidi.
*And to Midian We sent Shu‘ayb, their brother. He said, ‘O my people! Worship Allah, and expect [to encounter] the Last Day, and do not act wickedly on the earth causing corruption.’
29:37
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
*Lakini walimkanusha basi ukawatwaa mtikiso wa ardhi, wakapambazukiwa ndani ya nyumba zao nao wamefudikia.
*But they impugned him, whereupon the earthquake seized them, and they lay lifeless prostrate in their homes.
29:38
وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ مِنْ مَسَاكِنِهِمْ ۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ
*Na pia kina A´di na Thamud. Nanyi yamekwisha kubainikieni kutokana na maskani zao. Na Shet´ani aliwapambia vitendo vyao, na akawazuilia Njia, na hali walikuwa wenye kuona.
*And ‘Ad and Thamud, [whose fate] is evident to you from their habitations. Satan made their deeds seem decorous to them, thus he barred them from the way [of Allah], though they used to be perceptive.
29:39
وَقَارُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مُوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا سَابِقِينَ
*Na pia Qaruni na Firauni na Hamana! Na Musa aliwajia kwa Ishara waziwazi, lakini walijivuna katika nchi, wala hawakuweza kushinda.
*And Korah, Pharaoh, and Haman. Certainly, Moses brought them manifest proofs, but they acted arrogantly in the land; though they could not outmaneuver [Allah].
29:40
فَكُلًّا أَخَذْنَا بِذَنْبِهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَخَذَتْهُ الصَّيْحَةُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَغْرَقْنَا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
*Basi kila mmoja tulimtesa kwa mujibu wa makosa yake. Kati yao wapo tulio wapelekea kimbunga cha changarawe; na kati yao wapo walio nyakuliwa na ukelele; na kati yao wapo ambao tulio wadidimiza katika ardhi; na kati yao wapo tulio wazamisha. Wala Mwenyezi Mungu hakuwa mwenye kuwadhulumu, lakini walikuwa wenyewe wakijidhulumu nafsi zao.
*So We seized each [of them] for his sin: among them were those upon whom We unleashed a rain of stones, and among them were those who were seized by the Cry, and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. It was not Allah who wronged them, but it was they who used to wrong themselves.
29:41
مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ كَمَثَلِ الْعَنْكَبُوتِ اتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا ۖ وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ الْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ الْعَنْكَبُوتِ ۖ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
*Mfano wa walio wafanya walinzi badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, ni mfano wa buibui alivyo jitandia nyumba. Na hakika nyumba dhaifu mno kuliko zote ni jumba la buibui, laiti kuwa wanajua.
*The parable of those who take guardians instead of Allah is that of the spider that takes a home, and indeed the frailest of homes is the home of a spider, had they known!
29:42
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
*Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anajua kila kitu wanacho kiomba badala yake Yeye. Na Yeye ndiye Mtukufu Mwenye nguvu Mwenye hikima.
*Allah indeed knows whatever thing they invoke besides Him, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.
29:43
وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ ۖ وَمَا يَعْقِلُهَا إِلَّا الْعَالِمُونَ
*Na hiyo ni mifano tunawapigia watu, na hawaifahamu ila wenye ilimu.
*We draw these parables for mankind; but no one grasps them except those who have knowledge.
29:44
خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Mwenyezi Mungu ameumba mbingu na ardhi kwa Haki. Kwa hakika katika hayo ipo Ishara kwa Waumini.
*Allah created the heavens and the earth with consummate wisdom. There is indeed a sign in that for the faithful.
29:45
اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ ۖ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ ۗ وَلَذِكْرُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ
*SOMA uliyo funuliwa katika Kitabu, na ushike Sala. Hakika Sala inazuilia mambo machafu na maovu. Na kwa yakini kumdhukuru Mwenyezi Mungu ndilo jambo kubwa kabisa. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anayajua mnayo yatenda.
*Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book, and maintain the prayer. Indeed the prayer restrains from indecent and wrongful conduct, and the remembrance of Allah is surely greater. And Allah knows whatever [deeds] you do.
29:46
وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَٰهُنَا وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ
*Wala msijadiliane na Watu wa Kitabu ila kwa njia iliyo nzuri kabisa, isipo kuwa wale walio dhulumu miongoni mwao. Na semeni: Tumeyaamini yaliyo teremshwa kwetu na yaliyo teremshwa kwenu. Na Mungu wetu na Mungu wenu ni Mmoja. Na sisi ni wenye kusilimu kwake.
*Do not argue with the People of the Book except in a manner which is best, except such of them as are wrongdoers, and say, ‘We believe in what has been sent down to us and in what has been sent down to you; our God and your God is one [and the same], and to Him do we submit.’
29:47
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَمِنْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الْكَافِرُونَ
*Na namna hivi tumekuteremshia Kitabu (cha Qur´ani). Basi wale tulio wapa Kitabu (cha Biblia) wataiamini (Qur´ani), na miongoni mwa hawa (washirikina) wapo watakao iamini. Na hawazikatai Ishara zetu isipo kuwa makafiri.
*Thus We have sent down the Book to you; those to whom We have given the Book believe in it, and of these there are some who believe in it, and none contests Our signs except the faithless.
29:48
وَمَا كُنْتَ تَتْلُو مِنْ قَبْلِهِ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمِينِكَ ۖ إِذًا لَارْتَابَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ
*Na wewe hukuwa kabla yake unasoma kitabu chochote, wala hukukiandika kwa mkono wako wa kulia. Ingeli kuwa hivyo wangeli fanya shaka wavunjifu.
*You did not use to recite any scripture before it, nor did you write it with your right hand, for then the impugners would have been skeptical.
29:49
بَلْ هُوَ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ فِي صُدُورِ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الظَّالِمُونَ
*Bali hii (Qur´ani) ni Ishara zilizo wazi katika vifua vya walio pewa ilimu. Na hawazikatai Ishara zetu isipo kuwa wenye kudhulumu.
*Indeed, it is [present as] manifest signs in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge, and none contests Our signs except wrongdoers.
29:50
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْآيَاتُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ
*Na walisema: Mbona hakuteremshiwa Ishara kutoka kwa Mola wake Mlezi? Sema: Ishara ziko kwake Mwenyezi Mungu; ama mimi kwa hakika ni mwonyaji mwenye kubainisha tu.
*They say, ‘Why has not some sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘These signs are only from Allah, and I am only a manifest warner.’
29:51
أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Je! Kwani hayakuwatosha ya kwamba tumekuteremshia Kitabu hiki wanacho somewa? Hakika katika hayo zipo rehema na mawaidha kwa watu wanao amini.
*Does it not suffice them that We have sent down to you the Book which is recited to them? There is indeed in that a mercy and admonition for a people who have faith.
29:52
قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
*Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu anatosha kuwa ni Shahidi baina yangu na nyinyi. Anayajua yaliomo katika mbingu na ardhi. Na wale wanao amini upotovu na wakamkataa Mwenyezi Mungu, hao ndio walio khasiri.
*Say, ‘Allah suffices as a witness between me and you: He knows whatever there is in the heavens and the earth. Those who put faith in falsehood and defy Allah—it is they who are the losers.’
29:53
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى لَجَاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
*Na wanakuhimiza waletewe adhabu kwa haraka. Na lau kuwa hapana wakati maalumu ulio wekwa, basi adhabu ingeli wajia, na ingeli watokea kwa ghafla, na hali wao hawana khabari.
*They ask you to hasten the punishment. Yet were it not for a specified time, the punishment would have surely overtaken them. Surely, it will overtake them suddenly while they are unaware.
29:54
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ
*Wanakuhimiza waletewe adhabu kwa haraka, na hali Jahannamu kwa hakika imewazunguka makafiri!
*They ask you to hasten the punishment, and indeed hell will besiege the faithless
29:55
يَوْمَ يَغْشَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Siku itapo wafunika adhabu hiyo kutoka juu yao na chini ya miguu yao, na atasema: Onjeni hayo mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda!
*on the day when the punishment envelopes them, from above them and from under their feet, and He will say, ‘Taste what you used to do!’
29:56
يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ أَرْضِي وَاسِعَةٌ فَإِيَّايَ فَاعْبُدُونِ
*Enyi waja wangu mlio amini! Kwa hakika ardhi yangu ina wasaa. Basi niabuduni Mimi peke yangu.
*O My servants who have faith! My earth is indeed vast. So worship [only] Me.
29:57
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
*Kila nafsi itaonja mauti. Kisha mtarudishwa kwetu.
*Every soul shall taste death. Then you shall be brought back to Us.
29:58
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ نِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ
*Na ambao wameamini na wakatenda mema, bila ya shaka tutawaweka katika maghorofa ya Peponi yenye kupitiwa chini yake mito, wakidumu humo. Ni mwema ulioje huo ujira wa watendao,
*Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, We will surely settle them in the lofty abodes of paradise, with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever]. How excellent is the reward of the workers!
29:59
الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
*Ambao walisubiri, na wakamtegemea Mola wao Mlezi.
*—Those who are patient and who put their trust in their Lord.
29:60
وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ دَابَّةٍ لَا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Na wanyama wangapi hawawezi kujimilikia riziki zao! Mwenyezi Mungu anawaruzuku hao na nyinyi pia. Na Yeye ndiye Mwenye kusikia Mwenye kujua.
*How many an animal there is that does not carry its own provision. Allah provides them and you, and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.
29:61
وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
*Na ukiwauliza; Nani aliye umba mbingu na ardhi na akafanya jua na mwezi kuti´ii amri yake? Bila ya shaka, watasema: Mwenyezi Mungu. Wapi basi wanako geuzwa?
*If you ask them, ‘Who created the heavens and the earth, and who has disposed the sun and the moon?’ They will surely say, ‘Allah.’ Then where do they stray?
29:62
اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
*Mwenyezi Mungu humkunjulia, na humdhikishia, riziki amtakaye katika waja wake. Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi wa kila kitu.
*Allah expands the provision for whomever He wishes of His servants, and tightens it for him. Indeed Allah has knowledge of all things.
29:63
وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
*Na ukiwauliza: Ni nani anaye teremsha maji kutoka mbinguni, na akaihuisha ardhi baada ya kufa kwake? Bila ya shaka watasema: Ni Mwenyezi Mungu. Sema: Alhamdu Lillahi, Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu. Bali wengi katika wao hawafahamu.
*And if you ask them, ‘Who sends down water from the sky, with which He revives the earth after its death?’ They will surely say, ‘Allah.’ Say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah!’ But most of them do not exercise their reason.
29:64
وَمَا هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na haya maisha ya dunia si chochote ila ni pumbao na mchezo. Na nyumba ya Akhera ndiyo maisha khasa; laiti wangeli kuwa wanajua!
*The life of this world is nothing but diversion and play, but the abode of the Hereafter is indeed Life (itself), had they known!
29:65
فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا فِي الْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
*Na wanapo panda katika marikebu, humwomba Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kumsafia ut´iifu. Lakini anapo wavua wakafika nchi kavu, mara wanamshirikisha.
*When they board the ship, they invoke Allah putting exclusive faith in Him, but when He delivers them to land, behold, they ascribe partners [to Him],
29:66
لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Wapate kuyakanya tuliyo wapa, na wajistareheshe. Lakini watakuja jua!
*being ungrateful for what We have given them! Let them enjoy. Soon they will know!
29:67
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا آمِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ النَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ ۚ أَفَبِالْبَاطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَكْفُرُونَ
*Je! Hawaoni ya kwamba tumeifanya nchi takatifu ina amani, na hali watu wengine wananyakuliwa kote kwa majirani zao? Je! Wanaamini upotovu, na neema za Mwenyezi Mungu wanazikataa?
*Have they not seen that We have appointed a safe sanctuary, while the people are despoiled all around them? Would they then believe in falsehood and be ungrateful toward the blessing of Allah?
29:68
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِلْكَافِرِينَ
*Na nani dhaalimu mkubwa kuliko yule anaye mzulia uwongo Mwenyezi Mungu au anaye kanusha Haki inapo mjia? Je! Si katika Jahannamu ndio yatakuwa makaazi ya makafiri?
*Who is a greater wrongdoer than him who fabricates a lie against Allah, or denies the truth when it comes to him? Is not the [final] abode of the faithless in hell?
29:69
وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
*Na wanao fanya juhudi kwa ajili yetu, Sisi tutawaongoa kwenye njia zetu. Na hakika Mwenyezi Mungu yu pamoja na watu wema.
*As for those who strive in Us, We shall surely guide them in Our ways, and Allah is indeed with the virtuous.
