Sura 19 - Maryam

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
19:1
كهيعص
*Kaf Ha Ya A´yn S´ad
*Kaf, Ha, Ya, ‘Ayn, Suad.
19:2
ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُ زَكَرِيَّا
*Huu ni Ukumbusho wa rehema ya Mola wako Mlezi kwa mja wake, Zakariya.
*[This is] an account of your Lord’s mercy on His servant, Zechariah,
19:3
إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ نِدَاءً خَفِيًّا
*Alipo mwita Mola wake Mlezi kwa siri.
*when he called out to his Lord with a secret cry.
19:4
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ الْعَظْمُ مِنِّي وَاشْتَعَلَ الرَّأْسُ شَيْبًا وَلَمْ أَكُنْ بِدُعَائِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّا
*Akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Mafupa yangu yamedhoofika, na kichwa kinameremeta kwa mvi; wala, Mola wangu Mlezi, sikuwa mwenye bahati mbaya kwa kukuomba Wewe.
*He said, ‘My Lord! Indeed my bones have become feeble, and my head has turned white with age, yet never have I, my Lord, been disappointed in supplicating You!
19:5
وَإِنِّي خِفْتُ الْمَوَالِيَ مِنْ وَرَائِي وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا فَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ وَلِيًّا
*Na hakika mimi nawakhofia jamaa zangu baada yangu. Na mke wangu ni tasa. Basi nipe mrithi kutoka kwako.
*Indeed I fear my kinsmen, after me, and my wife is barren. So grant me from Yourself an heir
19:6
يَرِثُنِي وَيَرِثُ مِنْ آلِ يَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَاجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّا
*Atakaye nirithi mimi na awarithi ukoo wa Yaaqub. Ewe Mola wangu Mlezi! Na umjaalie awe mwenye kuridhisha.
*who may inherit from me and inherit from the House of Jacob, and make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You]!’
19:7
يَا زَكَرِيَّا إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَامٍ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ سَمِيًّا
*(Akaambiwa): Ewe Zakariya! Hakika Sisi tunakubashiria mwana; jina lake ni Yahya. Hatujapata kumpa jina hilo yeyote kabla yake.
*‘O Zechariah! Indeed We give you the good news of a son, whose name is ‘‘John.’’ Never before have We made anyone his namesake.’
19:8
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا
*Akasema: Ewe Mola wangu Mlezi! Vipi nitakuwa na mwana na hali mke wangu ni tasa, na mimi nimesha fikia ukongwe katika uzee?
*He said, ‘My Lord! How shall I have a son, when my wife is barren, and I am already advanced in age?’
19:9
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْئًا
*Akasema: Ndio hivyo hivyo amesema Mola wako Mlezi: Haya ni mepesi kwangu. Na hakika Mimi nilikwisha kuumba wewe zamani na hali hukuwa kitu.
*He said, ‘So shall it be. Your Lord has said, ‘‘It is simple for Me.’’ Certainly I created you before when you were nothing.’
19:10
قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لِي آيَةً ۚ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ سَوِيًّا
*Akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi nijaalie Ishara. Akasema Ishara yako ni kuwa hutasema na watu kwa masiku matatu, na hali ni mzima.
*He said, ‘My Lord! Appoint a sign for me.’ He said, ‘Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three complete nights.’
19:11
فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الْمِحْرَابِ فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ أَنْ سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا
*Basi akawatokea watu wake kutoka mihirabuni. Akawaashiria: Msabihini Mwenyezi Mungu asubuhi na jioni.
*So he emerged before his people from the Temple, and signalled to them that they should glorify [Allah] morning and evening.
19:12
يَا يَحْيَىٰ خُذِ الْكِتَابَ بِقُوَّةٍ ۖ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّا
*Ewe Yahya! Kishike Kitabu kwa nguvu! Nasi tulimpa hikima angali mtoto.
*‘O John!’ [We said,] ‘Hold on with power to the Book!’ And We gave him judgement while still a child,
19:13
وَحَنَانًا مِنْ لَدُنَّا وَزَكَاةً ۖ وَكَانَ تَقِيًّا
*Na tukampa huruma itokayo kwetu, na utakaso, na akawa mchamungu.
*and a compassion and purity from Us. He was Godwary
19:14
وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّا
*Na akawa mwema kwa wazazi wake, wala hakuwa jabari mua´si.
*and good to his parents, and was not self-willed or disobedient.
19:15
وَسَلَامٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيًّا
*Na amani iwe juu yake siku ya kuzaliwa, na siku ya kufa, na siku ya kufufuliwa.
*Peace be to him, the day he was born, and the day he dies, and the day he is raised alive!
19:16
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ انْتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرْقِيًّا
*Na mtaje Maryamu katika Kitabu, pale alipo jitenga na jamaa zake mahali upande wa mashariki;
*And mention in the Book Mary, when she withdrew from her family to an easterly place.
19:17
فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا
*Na akaweka pazia kujikinga nao. Tukampelekea Roho wetu, akajifananisha kwake sawa na mtu.
*Thus did she seclude herself from them, whereupon We sent to her Our Spirit and he became incarnate for her as a well-proportioned human.
19:18
قَالَتْ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ مِنْكَ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَقِيًّا
*(Maryamu) akasema: Hakika mimi najikinga kwa Mwingi wa Rehema aniepushe nawe, ukiwa ni mchamngu.
*She said, ‘I seek the protection of the All-beneficent from you, should you be Godwary!’
19:19
قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا
*(Malaika) akasema: Hakika mimi ni mwenye kutumwa na Mola wako Mlezi ili nikubashirie tunu ya mwana aliye takasika.
*He said, ‘I am only a messenger of your Lord that I may give you a pure son.’
19:20
قَالَتْ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا
*Akasema: Nitampataje mwana hali mwanaadamu yeyote hajanigusa, wala mimi si kahaba?
*She said, ‘How shall I have a child seeing that no human being has ever touched me, nor have I been unchaste?’
19:21
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ ۖ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُ آيَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةً مِنَّا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَقْضِيًّا
*(Malaika) akasema: Ndio hivyo hivyo! Mola wako Mlezi amesema: Haya ni mepesi kwangu! Na ili tumfanye kuwa ni Ishara kwa watu, na Rehema itokayo kwetu, na hilo ni jambo lilio kwisha hukumiwa.
*He said, ‘So shall it be. Your Lord says, ‘‘It is simple for Me.’’ And so that We may make him a sign for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a matter [already] decided.’
19:22
فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَانْتَبَذَتْ بِهِ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا
*Basi akachukua mimba yake, na akaondoka nayo mpaka mahali pa mbali.
*Thus she conceived him, then withdrew with him to a distant place.
19:23
فَأَجَاءَهَا الْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنْتُ نَسْيًا مَنْسِيًّا
*Kisha uchungu ukampeleka kwenye shina la mtende; akasema: Laiti ningeli kufa kabla ya haya, na nikawa niliye sahaulika kabisa!
*The birth pangs brought her to the trunk of a date palm. She said, ‘I wish I had died before this and become a forgotten thing, beyond recall.’
19:24
فَنَادَاهَا مِنْ تَحْتِهَا أَلَّا تَحْزَنِي قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا
*Pakatangazwa kutoka chini yake: Usihuzunike! Hakika Mola wako Mlezi amejaalia chini yako kijito kidogo cha maji!
*Thereupon he called her from below her [saying,] ‘Do not grieve! Your Lord has made a spring to flow at your feet.
19:25
وَهُزِّي إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُسَاقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا
*Na litikise kwako hilo shina la mtende, utakuangushia tende nzuri zilizo mbivu.
*Shake the trunk of the palm tree, freshly picked dates will drop upon you.
19:26
فَكُلِي وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا ۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنْسِيًّا
*Basi kula, na kunywa, na litue jicho lako. Na pindi ukimwona mtu yeyote basi sema: Hakika mimi nimeweka nadhiri kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ya kufunga; kwa hivyo leo sitasema na mtu.
*Eat, drink, and be comforted. Then if you see any human, say, ‘‘Indeed I have vowed a fast to the All-beneficent, so I will not speak to any human today.’’ ’
19:27
فَأَتَتْ بِهِ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ ۖ قَالُوا يَا مَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْئًا فَرِيًّا
*Akenda naye (mwanawe) kwa jamaa zake amembeba. Wakasema: Ewe Maryamu! Hakika umeleta kitu cha ajabu!
*Then carrying him she brought him to her people. They said, ‘O Mary, you have certainly come up with an odd thing!
19:28
يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
*Ewe dada yake Harun! Baba yako hakuwa mtu muovu, wala mama yako hakuwa kahaba.
*O sister of Aaron[’s lineage]! Your father was not an evil man, nor was your mother unchaste.’
19:29
فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ ۖ قَالُوا كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَنْ كَانَ فِي الْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّا
*Akawaashiria (mtoto). Wakasema: Vipi tumsemeze aliye bado mdogo yumo katika mlezi?
*Thereat she pointed to him. They said, ‘How can we speak to one who is yet a baby in the cradle?’
19:30
قَالَ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ آتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا
*(Mtoto) akasema: Hakika mimi ni mtumwa wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Amenipa Kitabu, na amenifanya Nabii.
*He said, ‘Indeed I am a servant of Allah! He has given me the Book and made me a prophet.
19:31
وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا
*Na amenijaalia ni mwenye kubarikiwa popote pale niwapo. Na ameniusia Sala na Zaka maadamu ni hai,
*He has made me blessed, wherever I may be, and He has enjoined me to [maintain] the prayer and to [pay] the zakat as long as I live,
19:32
وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا
*Na nimtendee wema mama yangu. Wala hakunifanya niwe jeuri, mwovu.
*and to be good to my mother, and He has not made me self-willed and wretched.
19:33
وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدْتُ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا
*Na amani iko juu yangu siku niliyo zaliwa, na siku nitakayo kufa, na siku nitakayo fufuliwa kuwa hai.
*Peace to me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I am raised alive.’
19:34
ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِي فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
*Huyo ndiye Isa mwana wa Maryamu. Ndiyo kauli ya haki ambayo wanaifanyia shaka.
*That is Jesus, son of Mary, a Word of the Real concerning whom they are in doubt.
19:35
مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ مِنْ وَلَدٍ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
*Haiwi kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kuwa na mwana, Subhanahu, Yeye ametakasika! Anapo lihukumia jambo basi huliambia tu: Kuwa! Likawa.
*It is not for Allah to take a son. Immaculate is He! When He decides on a matter, He just says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is.
19:36
وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
*Na hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mola wangu Mlezi, na Mola wenu Mlezi. Basi muabuduni Yeye. Hii ndiyo Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*[And Jesus said,] ‘Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a straight path.’
19:37
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ مَشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
*Lakini makundi yakakhitalifiana wao kwa wao. Basi ole wao hao walio kufuru kwa kuhudhuria Siku iliyo kuu!
*But the factions differed among themselves. So woe to the faithless at the scene of a tremendous day.
19:38
أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا ۖ لَٰكِنِ الظَّالِمُونَ الْيَوْمَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
*Watasikia na wataona vizuri vilioje Siku watakayo tufikia! Lakini madhaalimu sasa wamo katika upotofu ulio dhaahiri.
*How well they will hear and how well they will see on the day when they come to Us! But today the wrongdoers are in manifest error.
19:39
وَأَنْذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Na waonye siku ya majuto itapo katwa amri. Nao wamo katika ghafla, wala hawaamini.
*Warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be decided, while they are [yet] heedless and do not have faith.
19:40
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ الْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ
*Hakika Sisi tutairithi ardhi na walio juu yake. Na kwetu watarejeshwa.
*Indeed We shall inherit the earth and whoever there is on it, and to Us they shall be brought back.
19:41
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَبِيًّا
*Na mtaje katika Kitabu Ibrahim. Hakika yeye alikuwa mkweli, Nabii.
*And mention in the Book Abraham. Indeed, he was a truthful man and a prophet.
19:42
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنْكَ شَيْئًا
*Alipo mwambia baba yake: Ewe baba yangu! Kwa nini unaabudu visivyo sikia, na visivyo ona, na visivyo kufaa chochote?
*When he said to his father, ‘Father! Why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, and is of no avail to you in any way?
19:43
يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءَنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا
*Ewe baba yangu! Kwa yakini imenifikia ilimu isiyo kufikia wewe. Basi nifuate mimi, nami nitakuongoza Njia Iliyo Sawa.
*Father! Indeed a knowledge has already come to me, which has not come to you. So follow me that I may guide you to a right path.
19:44
يَا أَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَصِيًّا
*Ewe baba yangu! Usimuabudu Shet´ani. Hakika Shet´ani ni mwenye kumuasi Mwingi wa Rehema.
*Father! Do not worship Satan. Indeed Satan is disobedient to the All-beneficent.
19:45
يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيًّا
*Ewe baba yangu! Hakika mimi naogopa isikupate adhabu inayo toka kwa Mwingi wa Rehema ukaja kuwa mwenziwe Shet´ani.
*Father! I am indeed afraid that a punishment from the All-beneficent will befall you, and you will become Satan’s accomplice.’
19:46
قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنْتَ عَنْ آلِهَتِي يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ۖ لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖ وَاهْجُرْنِي مَلِيًّا
*(Baba) akasema: Unaichukia miungu yangu, ewe Ibrahim? Kama huachi, basi lazima nitakupiga mawe. Na niondokelee mbali kwa muda!
*He said, ‘Abraham! Are you renouncing my gods? If you do not desist, I will stone you. Get away from me for a long while.’
19:47
قَالَ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكَ ۖ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِي حَفِيًّا
*(Ibrahim) akasema: Salamun a´laika! Amani iwe juu yako! Mimi nitakuombea msamaha kwa Mola wangu Mlezi. Hakika Yeye ananihurumia sana.
*He said, ‘Peace be to you! I shall plead with my Lord to forgive you. Indeed, He is gracious to me.
19:48
وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَأَدْعُو رَبِّي عَسَىٰ أَلَّا أَكُونَ بِدُعَاءِ رَبِّي شَقِيًّا
*Nami najitenga nanyi na hayo mnayo yaabudu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na ninamwomba Mola wangu Mlezi; asaa nisiwe mwenye kukosa bahati kwa kumwomba Mola wangu Mlezi.
*I dissociate myself from you and whatever you invoke besides Allah. I will supplicate my Lord. Hopefully, I will not be disappointed in supplicating my Lord.’
19:49
فَلَمَّا اعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّا
*Basi alipo jitenga nao na yale waliyo kuwa wakiyaabudu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, tulimpa Is-haq na Yaaqub, na kila mmoja tukamfanya Nabii.
*So when he had left them and what they worshipped besides Allah, We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and each We made a prophet.
19:50
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُمْ مِنْ رَحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّا
*Na tukawapa rehema zetu na tukawajaalia kupewa sifa za kweli tukufu.
*And We gave them out of Our mercy, and conferred on them a worthy and lofty repute.
19:51
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مُوسَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مُخْلَصًا وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَبِيًّا
*Na mtaje Musa katika Kitabu. Hakika yeye alikuwa ni mwenye kuchaguliwa, na alikuwa Mtume, Nabii.
*And mention in the Book Moses. Indeed he was exclusively dedicated [to Allah], and an apostle and prophet.
19:52
وَنَادَيْنَاهُ مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَاهُ نَجِيًّا
*Na tulimwita upande wa kulia wa mlima na tukamsogeza kunong´ona naye.
*We called him from the right side of the Mount and We drew him near [to Ourselves] for confidential discourse.
19:53
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ مِنْ رَحْمَتِنَا أَخَاهُ هَارُونَ نَبِيًّا
*Nasi kwa rehema zetu tukampa nduguye, Harun, awe Nabii.
*And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron, a prophet.
19:54
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَبِيًّا
*Na mtaje katika Kitabu Ismail. Bila ya shaka yeye alikuwa ni mkweli wa ahadi, na alikuwa Mtume, Nabii.
*And mention in the Book Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and an apostle and prophet.
19:55
وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ وَكَانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا
*Na alikuwa akiwaamrisha watu wake Sala na Zaka, na alikuwa mbele ya Mola wake Mlezi mwenye kuridhiwa.
*He used to bid his family to [maintain] the prayer and to [pay] the zakat, and was pleasing to his Lord.
19:56
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَبِيًّا
*Na mtaje katika Kitabu Idris. Hakika yeye alikuwa ni mkweli Nabii.
*And mention in the Book Idrees. Indeed, he was a truthful one and a prophet,
19:57
وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا
*Na tulimuinua daraja ya juu.
*and We raised him to an exalted station.
19:58
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ آدَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْرَائِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَا ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا ۩
*Hao ndio alio waneemesha Mwenyezi Mungu miongoni mwa Manabii katika uzao wa Adam, na katika uzao wa wale tulio wapandisha pamoja na Nuhu, na katika uzao wa Ibrahim na Israil, na katika wale tulio waongoa na tukawateuwa. Wanapo somewa Aya za Mwingi wa Rehema huanguka kusujudu na kulia.
*They are the ones whom Allah has blessed from among the prophets of Adam’s progeny, and from [the progeny of] those We carried with Noah, and from among the progeny of Abraham and Israel, and from among those that We guided and chose. When the signs of the All-beneficent were recited to them, they would fall down weeping in prostration.
19:59
فَخَلَفَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوَاتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا
*Lakini wakaja baada yao walio wabaya, wakaacha Sala, na wakafuata matamanio. Basi watakuja kuta malipo ya ubaya.
*But they were succeeded by an evil posterity who neglected the prayer, and followed [their base] appetites. So they will soon encounter [the reward of] perversity,
19:60
إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا
*Isipo kuwa walio tubu, wakaamini, na wakatenda mema. Hao, basi, wataingia Peponi wala hawatadhulumiwa chochote.
*barring those who repent, believe, and act righteously. Such will enter paradise, and they will not be wronged in the least.
19:61
جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَأْتِيًّا
*Bustani za milele alizo waahidi Rahmani waja wake katika siri. Hakika ahadi yake hapana shaka itafika.
*Gardens of Eden promised by the All-beneficent to His servants, [while they were still] unseen. Indeed His promise is bound to come to pass.
19:62
لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَامًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا
*Humo hawatasikia upuuzi, ila Salama tu. Na watapata humo riziki zao asubuhi na jioni.
*Therein they will not hear vain talk, but only ‘Peace!’ Therein they will have their provision morning and evening.
19:63
تِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي نُورِثُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا مَنْ كَانَ تَقِيًّا
*Hiyo ndiyo Pepo tutayo warithisha katika waja wetu walio kuwa wachamngu.
*This is the paradise We will give as inheritance to those of Our servants who are Godwary.
19:64
وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ ۖ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا
*(Nao watasema:) Wala hatuteremki ila kwa amri ya Mola wako Mlezi. Ni yake Yeye yaliyoko mbele yetu na yaliyoko nyuma yetu, na yaliyomo katikati ya hayo. Na Mola wako Mlezi si mwenye kusahau.
*[O Gabriel, tell the Prophet,] ‘We do not descend except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is in between that, and your Lord does not forget
19:65
رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَاعْبُدْهُ وَاصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَادَتِهِ ۚ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا
*Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi na vilivyo baina yake. Basi muabudu Yeye tu, na udumu katika ibada yake. Je, mnamjua mwenye jina kama lake?
*—the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. So worship Him and be steadfast in His worship. Do you know anyone who could be His namesake?’
19:66
وَيَقُولُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَإِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوْفَ أُخْرَجُ حَيًّا
*Na mwanaadamu husema: Hivyo, nitakapo kufa, ni kweli nitafufuliwa niwe hai tena?
*Man says, ‘What? Shall I be brought forth alive [from the grave], when I have been dead?’
19:67
أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْئًا
*Je! Hakumbuki mwanaadamu ya kwamba tulimuumba kabla, na hali hakuwa chochote?
*Does not man remember that We created him before when he was nothing?
19:68
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَالشَّيَاطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّا
*Basi naapa kwa Mola wako Mlezi! Kwa yakini tutawakusanya wao pamoja na mashet´ani; kisha tutawahudhurisha kuizunguka Jahannamu, nao wamepiga magoti!
*By your Lord, We will surely gather them with the devils; then We will surely bring them up around hell [scrambling] on their knees.
19:69
ثُمَّ لَنَنْزِعَنَّ مِنْ كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحْمَٰنِ عِتِيًّا
*Kisha kwa yakini tutawatoa katika kila kundi wale miongoni mwao walio zidi kumuasi Arrahmani, Mwingi wa Rahema..
*Then from every group We shall draw whichever of them was more defiant towards the All-beneficent.
19:70
ثُمَّ لَنَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِالَّذِينَ هُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيًّا
*Tena hakika Sisi tunawajua vyema zaidi wanao stahiki kuunguzwa humo.
*Then surely We will know best those who deserve most to enter it.
19:71
وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَقْضِيًّا
*Wala hapana yeyote katika nyinyi ila ni mwenye kuifikia. Hiyo ni hukumu ya Mola wako Mlezi ambayo lazima itimizwe.
*There is none of you but will come to it: a [matter that is a] decided certainty with your Lord.
19:72
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا وَنَذَرُ الظَّالِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّا
*Kisha tutawaokoa wale walio mchamngu; na tutawaacha madhaalimu humo wamepiga magoti.
*Then We will deliver those who are Godwary, and leave the wrongdoers in it, fallen on their knees.
19:73
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَقَامًا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا
*Na wanapo somewa Aya zetu zilizo wazi, walio kufuru huwaambia walio amini: Lipi katika makundi mawili lenye cheo kizuri na lilio bora barazani?
*When Our manifest signs are recited to them, the faithless say to the faithful, ‘Which of the two groups is superior in station and better with respect to company?’
19:74
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَاثًا وَرِئْيًا
*Na kaumu ngapi tuliziangamiza zilizo kuwa na mapambo mazuri zaidi na wazuri zaidi kwa kuwatazama!
*How many a generation We have destroyed before them, who were superior in furnishings and appearance!
19:75
قُلْ مَنْ كَانَ فِي الضَّلَالَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مَدًّا ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا الْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا السَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَكَانًا وَأَضْعَفُ جُنْدًا
*Sema: Walio katika upotofu basi Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rahema atawapururia muda mpaka wayaone waliyo onywa - ama ni adhabu au ni Saa. Hapo ndipo watapo jua ni nani mwenye makao mabaya na mwenye askari dhaifu.
*Say, ‘Whoever abides in error, the All-beneficent shall prolong his respite until they sight what they have been promised: either punishment, or the Hour.’ Then they will know whose position is worse, and whose host is weaker.
19:76
وَيَزِيدُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا هُدًى ۗ وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَخَيْرٌ مَرَدًّا
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu huwazidishia uwongofu wenye kushika uwongofu. Na mema yenye kudumu ni bora katika malipo mbele ya Mola wako Mlezi na yana mwisho mwema.
*Allah enhances in guidance those who are [rightly] guided, and lasting righteous deeds are better with your Lord in reward, and better at the return [to Allah].
19:77
أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا
*Je, umemwona aliye zikanya Ishara zetu na akasema: Kwa hakika mimi nitapewa mali na wana!
*Have you not regarded him who defies Our signs, and says, ‘I will surely be given wealth and children’?
19:78
أَطَّلَعَ الْغَيْبَ أَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا
*Kwani yeye amepata khabari za ghaibu, au amechukua ahadi kwa Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema?
*Has he come to know the Unseen, or taken a promise from the All-beneficent?
19:79
كَلَّا ۚ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ مَدًّا
*Hasha! Tutaandika anayo yasema, tutamkunjulia muda wa adhabu.
*No indeed! We will write down what he says, and We will prolong his punishment endlessly.
19:80
وَنَرِثُهُ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدًا
*Na tutamrithi hayo anayo yasema, na atatufikia mtupu peke yake!
*We shall take over from him what he talks about, and he will come to Us alone.
19:81
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لِيَكُونُوا لَهُمْ عِزًّا
*Na wamechukua miungu mingine badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu ili ati iwape nguvu.
*They have taken gods besides Allah that they may be a [source of] might to them.
19:82
كَلَّا ۚ سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا
*Sivyo kabisa! Wataikataa hiyo ibada yao, na watakuwa ndio dhidi yao.
*No Indeed! Soon they will disown their worship, and they will be their opponents.
19:83
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّا
*Kwani huoni ya kwamba tumewatuma mashet´ani kwa makafiri wawachochee kwa uchochezi?
*Have you not regarded that We unleash the devils upon the faithless to urge them vigorously?
19:84
فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّا
*Basi usiwafanyie haraka. Sisi tunawahisabia idadi ya siku zao.
*So do not make haste against them; indeed We are counting for them, a counting [down].
19:85
يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدًا
*Siku tutayo wakusanya wachamngu kuwapeleka kwa Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema kuwa ni wageni wake.
*The day We shall gather the Godwary toward the All-beneficent, on mounts,
19:86
وَنَسُوقُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًا
*Na tukawachunga wakhalifu kuwapeleka Jahannamu hali ya kuwa wana kiu.
*and drive the guilty as a thirsty herd towards hell,
19:87
لَا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا
*Hawatakuwa na mamlaka ya uombezi ila wale walio chukua ahadi kwa Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema..
*no one will have the power to intercede [with Allah], except for him who has taken a covenant with the All-beneficent.
19:88
وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا
*Na wao ati husema kuwa Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema ana mwana!
*They say, ‘The All-beneficent has taken a son!’
19:89
لَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْئًا إِدًّا
*Hakika mmeleta jambo la kuchusha mno!
*You have certainly advanced something hideous!
19:90
تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنْشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا
*Zinakaribia mbingu kutatuka kwa hilo, na ardhi kupasuka, na milima kuanguka vipande vipande.
*The heavens are about to be rent apart at it, the earth to split open, and the mountains to collapse into bits,
19:91
أَنْ دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًا
*Kwa kudai kwao kuwa Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema ana mwana.
*that they should ascribe a son to the All-beneficent!
19:92
وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا
*Wala hahitajii Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema kuwa na mwana.
*It does not behoove the All-beneficent to take a son.
19:93
إِنْ كُلُّ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا آتِي الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَبْدًا
*Hapana yeyote aliomo mbinguni na ardhini ila atafika kwa Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema kuwa ni mtumwa wake.
*There is none in the heavens and the earth but he comes to the All-beneficent as a servant.
19:94
لَقَدْ أَحْصَاهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا
*Yeye hakika amewadhibiti na amewahisabu sawa sawa.
*Certainly He has counted them [all] and numbered them precisely,
19:95
وَكُلُّهُمْ آتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا
*Na kila mmoja katika wao atamfikia Siku ya Kiyama peke yake.
*and each of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection.
19:96
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّا
*Hakika walio amini na wakatenda mema Arrahmani Mwingi wa Rehema atawajaalia mapenzi.
*Indeed those who have faith and do righteous deeds—the All-beneficent will endear them [to His creation].
19:97
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنْذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُدًّا
*Na hakika tumeifanya nyepesi (Qur´ani) kwa ulimi wako, ili uwabashirie kwayo wachamngu, na uwaonye kwayo watu wabishi.
*Indeed We have made it simple in your language so that you may give good news thereby to the Godwary and warn with it a disputatious lot.
19:98
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا
*Na kaumu ngapi tumezihiliki kabla yao. Je! Unawaona hata mmoja katika wao au unasikia hata mchakato wao?
*How many a generation We have destroyed before them! Can you descry any one of them, or hear from them so much as a murmur?
