Sura 35 - Faatir

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
35:1
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۚ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Sifa zote njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu, Muumba wa mbingu na ardhi, aliye wafanya Malaika kuwa wajumbe wenye mbawa, mbili-mbili, na tatu- tatu, na nne-nne. Huzidisha katika kuumba apendavyo. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza juu ya kila kitu.
*All praise belongs to Allah, originator of the heavens and the earth, maker of the angels [His] messengers, possessing wings, two, three or four [of them]. He adds to the creation whatever He wishes. Indeed Allah has power over all things.
35:2
مَا يَفْتَحِ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۖ وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
*Rehema ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu anawafungulia watu hapana wa kuizuia. Na anayo izuia hapana wa kuipeleka isipo kuwa Yeye. Naye ndiye Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima.
*Whatever mercy Allah unfolds for the people, no one can withhold it; and whatever He withholds no one can release it except Him, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.
35:3
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
*Enyi watu! Kumbukeni neema za Mwenyezi Mungu juu yenu. Ati yupo muumba mwengine asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu anaye kupeni riziki kutoka mbinguni na kwenye ardhi? Hapana mungu ila Yeye tu. Basi wapi mnako geuzwa?
*O mankind! Remember Allah’s blessing upon you! Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth? There is no god except Him. So where do you stray?
35:4
وَإِنْ يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ
*Na wakikukanusha, basi walikwisha kanushwa Mitume kabla yako. Na mambo yote yatarudishwa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*If they impugn you, certainly [other] apostles were impugned before you, and all matters are returned to Allah.
35:5
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ
*Enyi watu! Hakika ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni ya kweli. Basi yasikudanganyeni maisha ya dunia, wala mdanganyifu asikudanganyeni juu ya Mwenyezi Mungu.
*O mankind! Allah’s promise is indeed true. So do not let the life of the world deceive you, nor let the Deceiver deceive you concerning Allah.
35:6
إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ
*Hakika Shet´ani ni adui yenu, basi mfanyeni kuwa ni adui. Kwani yeye analiita kundi lake liwe katika watu wa Motoni.
*Satan is indeed your enemy, so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his confederates so that they may be among the inmates of the Blaze.
35:7
الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
*Walio kufuru watakuwa na adhabu kali; na walio amini na wakatenda mema watapata msamaha na ujira mkubwa.
*There is a severe punishment for the faithless; but for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, there will be forgiveness and a great reward.
35:8
أَفَمَنْ زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا ۖ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ
*Je! Yule aliye pambiwa a´mali zake mbaya na akaziona ni njema - basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu humwacha akapotea amtakaye, na humwongoa amtakaye. Basi nafsi yako isijihiliki kwa kuwasikitikia. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anajua wanayo yafanya.
*Is someone the evil of whose conduct is presented as decorous to him, so he regards it as good.... Indeed Allah leads astray whomever He wishes, and guides whomever He wishes. So do not fret yourself to death regretting for them. Indeed Allah knows best what they do.
35:9
وَاللَّهُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ مَيِّتٍ فَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ النُّشُورُ
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye anaye zituma Pepo ziyatimue mawingu, nasi tukayafikisha kwenye nchi iliyo kufa, tukaifufua ardhi baada ya kufa kwake. Ndivyo kama hivyo kutakavyo kuwa kufufuliwa.
*It is Allah who sends the winds and they raise a cloud; then We drive it toward a dead land and with it revive the earth after its death. Likewise will be the resurrection [of the dead].
35:10
مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَمَكْرُ أُولَٰئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ
*Mwenye kutaka utukufu basi utukufu wote uko kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Kwake Yeye hupanda neno zuri, na a´mali njema Yeye huitukuza. Na wanao panga vitimbi vya maovu watapata adhabu kali. Na vitimbi vya hao vitaondokea patupu.
*Whoever seeks honour [should know that] honour entirely belongs to Allah. To Him ascends the good word, and He elevates righteous conduct; as for those who devise evil schemes, there is a severe punishment for them, and their plotting shall come to naught.
35:11
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ۚ وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ ۚ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِنْ مُعَمَّرٍ وَلَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu amekuumbeni kutokana na udongo. Kisha kwa tone la manii. Kisha akakufanyeni mwanamume na mwanamke. Na mwanamke yeyote hachukui mimba, wala hazai, ila kwa ilimu yake. Na wala hapewi umri mwenye umri mrefu, wala hapunguziwi katika umri wake, ila yamo hayo katika Kitabu. Hakika hayo ni mepesi kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*Allah created you from dust, then from a drop of [seminal] fluid, then He made you mates. No female conceives or delivers except with His knowledge, and no elderly person advances in years, nor is anything diminished of his life, but it is [recorded] in a Book. That is indeed easy for Allah.
35:12
وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ ۖ وَمِنْ كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا ۖ وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
*Na bahari mbili haziwi sawa; haya ni matamu yenye ladha, mazuri kunywa. Na haya ni ya chumvi, machungu. Na kutokana na bahari zote mnakula nyama mpya (isiyo chacha). Na mnatoa mapambo mnayo yavaa. Na unaona ndani yake marikebu zinakata maji ili mtafute fadhila zake, na ili mpate kushukuru.
*Not alike are the two seas: this one sweet and agreeable, pleasant to drink, and that one briny and bitter, and from each you eat fresh meat and obtain ornaments, which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through them, that you may seek of His bounty, and so that you may give thanks.
35:13
يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْ قِطْمِيرٍ
*Anauingiza usiku katika mchana, na anauingiza mchana katika usiku. Na amelifanya jua na mwezi kutumikia. Kila kimojapo kinakwenda kwa muda maalumu. Huyo ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu Mola wenu Mlezi. Ufalme ni wake. Na hao mnao waomba badala yake hawamiliki hata ugozi wa kokwa ya tende.
*He makes the night pass into the day and makes the day pass into the night, and He has disposed the sun and the moon, each moving for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs all sovereignty. As for those whom you invoke besides Him, they do not control so much as the husk of a date stone.
35:14
إِنْ تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ ۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ
*Mkiwaomba hawasikii maombi yenu; na hata wakisikia hawakujibuni. Na Siku ya Kiyama watakataa ushirikina wenu. Na hapana atakaye kupa khabari vilivyo kama Yeye Mwenye khabari.
*If you invoke them they will not hear your invocation, and even if they heard they cannot respond to you, and on the Day of Resurrection they will forswear your polytheism, and none can inform you like the One who is all-aware.
35:15
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
*Enyi watu! Nyinyi ndio wenye haja kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye kujitosha, Msifiwa.
*O mankind! You are the ones who stand in need of Allah, and Allah—He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable.
35:16
إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
*Akitaka atakuondoeni na alete viumbe vipya.
*If He wishes, He will take you away, and bring about a new creation;
35:17
وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ
*Na hilo si gumu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*and that is not a hard thing for Allah.
35:18
وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ وَإِنْ تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمْلِهَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۗ إِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ ۚ وَمَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ
*Na mbebaji habebi mzigo wa mwingine. Na aliye topewa na mzigo wake akiomba uchukuliwe hautachukuliwa hata kidogo, na angamwomba jamaa yake. Hakika wewe unawaonya wale wanao mcha Mola wao Mlezi kwa ghaibu, na wanashika Sala. Na anaye jitakasa, basi anajitakasa kwa ajili ya nafsi yake. Na marejeo ni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*No bearer shall bear another’s burden, and should someone heavily burdened call [another] to carry it, nothing of it will be carried [by anyone] even if he should be a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in secret and maintain the prayer. Whoever purifies himself, purifies only for his own sake, and to Allah is the return.
35:19
وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ
*Na kipofu na mwenye kuona hawalingani.
*The blind one and the seer are not equal,
35:20
وَلَا الظُّلُمَاتُ وَلَا النُّورُ
*Wala giza na mwangaza.
*nor darkness and light;
35:21
وَلَا الظِّلُّ وَلَا الْحَرُورُ
*Wala kivuli na joto.
*nor shade and torrid heat;
35:22
وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوَاتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ
*Wala hawalingani walio hai na maiti. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu humsikilizisha amtakaye. Wala wewe si wa kuwasikilizisha walio makaburini.
*nor are the living equal to the dead. Indeed Allah makes whomever He wishes to hear, and you cannot make those who are in the graves hear you.
35:23
إِنْ أَنْتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ
*Hukuwa wewe ila ni mwonyaji.
*You are but a warner.
35:24
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۚ وَإِنْ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٌ
*Hakika Sisi tumekutuma wewe kwa Haki, kuwa ni mbashiri na mwonyaji. Na hapana umma wowote ila ulipata mwonyaji kati yao.
*Indeed We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and as a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner has passed in it.
35:25
وَإِنْ يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالزُّبُرِ وَبِالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِ
*Na wakikukanusha basi walikwisha wakanusha walio kuwa kabla yao. Mitume wao waliwajia kwa dalili wazi wazi na kwa maandiko na Kitabu chenye nuru.
*If they impugn you, those before them have impugned [likewise]: their apostles brought them manifest proofs, [holy] writs, and illuminating scriptures.
35:26
ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
*Kisha nikawakamata walio kufuru. Basi kuchukia kwangu kulikuwaje?
*Then I seized the faithless. So how was My rebuttal!
35:27
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ ثَمَرَاتٍ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهَا ۚ وَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌ
*Je! Huoni kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu ameteremsha maji kutoka mbinguni, na kwayo tumeyatoa matunda yenye rangi mbali mbali. Na katika milima imo mistari myeupe na myekundu yenye rangi mbali mbali, na myeusi sana.
*Have you not regarded that Allah sends down water from the sky, with which We produce fruits of diverse hues. And in the mountains are stripes, white and red, of diverse hues, and [others] pitch black?
35:28
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ كَذَٰلِكَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ
*Na katika watu, na wanyama, na mifugo, pia rangi zao zinakhitalifiana. Kwa hakika wanao mcha Mwenyezi Mungu miongoni mwa waja wake ni wanazuoni. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye kusamehe.
*And of humans and beasts and cattle there are likewise diverse hues. Only those of Allah’s servants having knowledge fear Him. Indeed Allah is all-mighty, all-forgiving.
35:29
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَنْ تَبُورَ
*Hakika wale wanao soma Kitabu cha Mwenyezi Mungu, na wakashika Sala, na wakatoa kwa siri na kwa dhaahiri katika tulivyo waruzuku, hao hutaraji biashara isiyo bwaga.
*Indeed those who recite the Book of Allah and maintain the prayer, and spend secretly and openly out of what We have provided them, expect a commerce that will never go bankrupt,
35:30
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ
*Ili Yeye awalipe ujira wao kwa ukamilifu, na awazidishie kutokana na fadhila zake. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kusamehe Mwenye shukrani.
*so that He may pay them their full reward and enhance them out of His bounty. Indeed He is all-forgiving, all-appreciative.
35:31
وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِ لَخَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ
*Na hayo tuliyo kufunulia kutoka Kitabuni ni Kweli yenye kusadikisha yaliyo kuwa kabla yake. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu kwa waja wake ni Mwenye khabari na Mwenye kuona.
*That which We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth, confirming what was [revealed] before it. Indeed Allah is all-aware, all-seeing about His servants.
35:32
ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتَابَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مُقْتَصِدٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيرُ
*Kisha tumewarithisha Kitabu hao ambao tuliwateuwa miongoni mwa waja wetu. Kati yao yupo aliye jidhulumu nafsi yake, na yupo wa katikati, na yupo aliye tangulia katika mambo ya kheri, kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Hiyo ndiyo fadhila kuu.
*Then We made those whom We chose from Our servants heirs to the Book. Yet some of them are those who wrong themselves, and some of them are average, and some of them are those who take the lead in all the good works by Allah’s will. That is the greatest grace [of Allah]!
35:33
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ
*Mabustani ya milele watayaingia. Huko watavikwa vikuku vya dhahabu, na lulu, na nguo zao humo ni za hariri.
*Gardens of Eden, which they will enter, adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be of silk.
35:34
وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ ۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ
*Na watasema: Alhamdulillahi, Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu aliye tuondolea huzuni zote. Hakika Mola wetu Mlezi bila ya shaka ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye shukrani.
*They will say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, who has removed all grief from us. Indeed Our Lord is all-forgiving, all-appreciative,
35:35
الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ
*Ambaye kwa fadhila yake ametuweka makao ya kukaa daima; humu haitugusi taabu wala humu hakutugusi kuchoka.
*who has settled us in the everlasting abode by His grace. In it we are untouched by toil, and untouched by fatigue.’
35:36
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍ
*Na walio kufuru watakuwa na Moto wa Jahannamu, hawahukumiwi wakafa, wala hawatapunguziwa adhabu yake. Hivyo ndivyo tunavyo mlipa kila mwenye kuzidi ukafiri.
*As for the faithless, there is for them the fire of hell: they will neither be done away with so that they may die, nor shall its punishment be lightened for them. Thus do We requite every ingrate.
35:37
وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءَكُمُ النَّذِيرُ ۖ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ نَصِيرٍ
*Na humo watapiga makelele: Mola wetu Mlezi! Tutoe tufanye mema sio yale tuliyo kuwa tukiyafanya. Kwani hatukukupeni umri wa kutosha kukumbuka mwenye kukumbuka? Na akakujieni Mwonyaji? Basi onjeni! Kwani walio dhulumu hawana wa kuwanusuru.
*They shall cry therein for help: ‘Our Lord! Bring us out, so that we may act righteously—differently from what we used to do!’ ‘Did We not give you a lifelong enough that one who is heedful might take admonition? And [moreover] the warner had [also] come to you. Now taste [the consequence of your deeds], for the wrongdoers have no helper.’
35:38
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
*Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi wa siri za mbinguni na ardhi. Hakika Yeye ni Mjuzi wa yaliomo vifuani.
*Indeed Allah is the knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He knows well what is in the breasts.
35:39
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
*Yeye ndiye aliye kufanyeni manaibu katika ardhi. Na anaye kufuru, basi kufuru yake ni juu yake; na kufuru za makafiri haziwazidishii kwa Mola wao Mlezi ila kuchukiwa. Wala kufuru za makafiri haziwazidishii ila khasara.
*It is He who made you successors on the earth. So whoever is faithless, his unfaith is to his own detriment. The unfaith of the faithless does not increase them with their Lord [in anything] except disfavour, and their unfaith increases the faithless in nothing except loss.
35:40
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِنْهُ ۚ بَلْ إِنْ يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا
*Sema: Mnawaona hawa miungu wenu wa kishirikina mnao waomba badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu! Nionyesheni wameumba sehemu gani katika ardhi? Au wana ushirika wowote katika mbingu? Au tumewapa Kitabu nao kwa hicho wakawa na hoja zilizo wazi? Lakini madhaalimu hawaahidiani wao kwa wao ila udanganyifu tu.
*Say, ‘Tell me about your ‘partners’ whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what [part] of the earth have they created. Have they any share in the heavens?’ Have We given them a scripture so that they stand on a manifest proof from it? No, the wrongdoers do not promise one another [anything] except delusion.
35:41
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ أَنْ تَزُولَا ۚ وَلَئِنْ زَالَتَا إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye anaye zuilia mbingu na ardhi zisiondoke. Na zikiondoka hapana yeyote wa kuzizuia isipo kuwa Yeye. Hakika Yeye ni Mpole Mwenye kusamehe.
*Indeed Allah sustains the heavens and the earth lest they should fall apart, and if they were to fall apart, there is none who can sustain them except Him. Indeed He is all-forbearing, all-forgiving.
35:42
وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِنْ جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْ إِحْدَى الْأُمَمِ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا
*Na waliapa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ukomo wa kuapa kwao, kwamba akiwajia mwonyaji bila ya shaka watakuwa waongofu zaidi kuliko taifa jingine lolote. Lakini alipo wajia mwonyaji hakuwazidishia ila kuikimbia hiyo Haki,
*They had sworn by Allah with solemn oaths that if a warner were to come to them, they would be better guided than any of the nations. But when a warner came to them, it only increased their distance [from the truth],
35:43
اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا
*Kwa kutakabari kwao katika nchi, na kufanya vitimbi vya uovu. Na vitimbi viovu havimsibu ila mwenyewe aliye vifanya. Hebu hawangojei yalio wasibu watu wa kale? Basi hutapata mabadiliko katika mtindo wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Wala hutapata mageuko katika mwendo wa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*due to their domineering [conduct] in the land and their devising of evil schemes; and evil schemes beset only their authors. So do they await anything except the precedent of the ancients? Yet you will never find any change in Allah’s precedent, and you will never find any revision in Allah’s precedent.
35:44
أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا
*Je! Hawakusafiri katika ardhi wakaona vipi ulikuwa mwisho wa walio kuwa kabla yao? Na hao walikuwa wana nguvu zaidi kuliko wao. Na hapana kitu kinacho weza kumshinda Mwenyezi Mungu mbinguni wala katika ardhi. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kujua, Mwenye uweza.
*Have they not travelled over the land so that they may observe how was the fate of those who were before them? They were more powerful than them, and Allah is not to be frustrated by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is all-knowing, all-powerful.
35:45
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا
*Na lau kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu angeli wachukulia watu kwa waliyo yachuma, basi asingeli muacha juu ya ardhi hata mnyama mmoja. Lakini Yeye anawachukulia mpaka ufike muda maalumu. Basi ukifika muda wao basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuwaona waja wake baraabara.
*Were Allah to take humans to task because of what they have earned, He would not leave any living being on its back. But He respites them until a specified time, and when their time comes, [He retributes them in accordance with their works], for Allah has been watching His servants.
